this review reflects the rooms not the camping part

the location is great, next to Coles, across from beach at night it is quiet i was not in camper van, i rented one of the tiny lodges- there was no cooking facilities nor microwave and after 6 nights it was not cleaned, i had to ask for it to be cleaned, sheets were not changed all week. i liked i was allowed to check out late i liked that i had booked originally for a dif date but it was ok for me to come another i was originally to stay one night --but unfortunately i had a bad boating accident and needed rest i chose to stay because i was unwell, and the location was great and the price, if i have to lay aroudn doing nothing i do not want to spend good money on a posh hotel i cannot enjoy.

i did not like being asked to pay more to upgrade on Friday night being lied to-- friday night i called to ask why there were new guests next to me, when there were all these other empty rooms, the manager told me they were all booked ? well they were not as i stayed there the entire weekend. she wanted to charge me to upgrade, ? after being in over 30 places in australia in the last 3 months, when i check in i usually get upgraded so to be the only long guest in this part of the park and ill, and be asked for more money ? why did you put them next to me in the first place, - its just disrpecpect, bad business and upset me more which made my recover time longer. being told how terrible i look by manager on a tuesday and housekeeper on a sunday ?? yes , i just got out of the ER thanks.. its not your business..i already know, thanks.. hence why i need a week of rest i had to go buy a mini heater because the room was cold at night - they did bring me blankets which was nice. or how worried they were about me ? i mean please... yet they do not knock on my door, text me check in on me ? not once.... !!! please its not your job to worry , and at least clean my room and just know how to extend my reservation and leave me in peace-- not once did they clean my room , i had to ask on saturday on sunday they cleaned it for 5 mins, and did not change sheets, yet all week they cleaned all those other rooms after check out for a long long while... that is how much they care about a guest staying a week and one that is not well.. that is what upset me i also had to send two emails requesting my check out be at 1 pm instead of 10 am , as i was not being picked up till then they agree to that which was hospitable yet the housekeeper was banging on my door at 9 am ? i mean please...know how to manage a property and do it seamlessly and do not take that out on a guest who does not even want to be there in the first place and needs some rest and no stress !!!

Location was good

I think the bathroom for the disabled needs something more on the tiles as very slippery when wet.

It’s ok for the price, a place just to sleep and enjoy the facilities, like the pool and restaurant

It was 30 minutes walking from the center and the room was very small, you walk in and touch the bed

Easy, clean, comfortable.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were thorough and kind. We definitely would recommend this place to our family and friends. Thanks for having us...

A wonderful family holiday park

Was so tidy & relaxing no matter how busy it was. The bungalows were beautiful super cozy & private. The staff were awesome! Really friendly & welcoming. All round a great place. Will definitely be booking in again.

absolutely fantastic

the front of house staff were absolutley brilliant. Very welcoming and ready to answer any question. The villa we had was very clean and tidy, great cleaning staff. I felt at home straight away. Very relaxed. The pool was awesome, even as it was winter my daughter didn't want to get out. Loved the whole experience of the resort. Pity we didn't stay longer.

The only thing that was disappointing was that the restuarant next door was not open when we arrived. We had to drive into town to find food. As there was nothing we landed up going to the local coles and cooked at home.

The gardens were nice.

The a accommodation consisted of a very small room and a tiny bathroom. The booking description stated that a wardrobe and hanging space would be available. This was not present. We are in our seventies and found this very uncomfortable. My wife uses CPAP Machine and with a few inches beside the bed , setting it up was difficult. I asked the check-in staff if anything could be done, they just shrugged, said the manager was busy, nothing else was available.

Steer away from this dump, at all costs!

First of all, it looks like a prison cell once you’re inside, but thats just looks so we’ll manage. But when we came it reeked of chlorine smell inside the tiny room. We came early so we thought we’d give it some time to see if it would go away, as we thought it was maybe the room had just been cleaned and it was the cleaning products that lingered, but it would fade soon. Then when we came back a couple hours later, the room still smelled STRONGLY of chlorine. The air flow was also horrible, and my friend that has asthma was very triggered and did have an asthma attack during our stay. There was mold inside the air conditioning (we have pictures of this!), so we could not use it, as it was already bad enough. One hour later, we found ants crawling on our bed (not one, several ants several times), and this leads us to calling the reception as our final drop. It was 9am and the Front desk was closed so we had to call the emergency number, and they were pretty annoyed for calling them so late. They continued to yell at us for not adressing these problems by check in, but the only problem we’d notice at that time was the chlorine smell that we was hoping would pass. The other problems was noticed when we came back to the room hours later and actually was in there for more than 10 minutes as we only dropped our things earlier. They didn’t believe us, claimed «what we thought is mold in the air conditioning was water spots», again I have pictures and know very well the difference. They said if theres ants it’s because we had food in the room (we did not!), so it must be our fault. They didnt offer us another solution, they said «no worries, come on down and we’ll cancel your booking, and good luck finding another place to stay». It was 9pm, and we did not want to leave as we were getting up early. We felt as they wanted to throw us out rather then finding a solution.
