Nice villa, spacious, comfortable beds, nice swimming pools, lots of different activities.

very disappointing

the spa and bhoomi are the 2 constant in Vedic

well many things - the standard has depreciated in the last few years , the rooms need a make over also the flooring is broken in a few places , sofa too. the toilet needs urgent repairs, the swimming pool was very dirty ,looks like nobody is interested to take care of the pool at all. Breakfast was not good and most of the things served were cold. Even the tea and coffee machine didnt work. Egg dishes were tasteless and the service too was extremely poor. Reception area is a chaos the wait time was too long and the staff were not courteous at all. It was a major disappointment overall.. I have been a frequent visitor since the beginning of 2005 and after 18 years I feel very sad that such a lovely resort is not kept well and even some of the customers who had taken the bungalow were very dismayed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the place .In the past I’ve always recommended Vedic to my friends and family but after the unhygienic experience this time it seems I may not visit this place again. Certainly cannot be recommended till they have improved the quality and match up to other resorts such as the Fort Raichak etc

Not worth the money !

Ambience is fairly good .

Poor service to guests . The focus is more on marriage ceremonies booked at the property . Food is super expensive and a rip off. Definitely not worth the money you spend per night . Would not recommend this place - it’s just a huge hype.

A good place for Small Gateway

Go for Lake View Villa, beautiful and scenic view from the room. Breakfast is Very Good.

Pest Control needs to be done at property more often, there were lizards and insects outside the room. Distance from reception to room is quite long since the property is very big. Early check in will not be given in spite of any request or source, Very few staff as compared to the size of property. Only one person has a burden to look into check in checkout, staff should be increased. Food is expensive as compared to quality and quantity.

stay pleasant with nature

Location, greenery and natural weather. entire property surrounding with greenery and their swimming pool is also very good.

Room rate and food. Room rate is high as per facility and distance from the city in compare other 5 star property. Food is too much expensive and limited addition of items. According nearby area and nearby by Kolkata main city; raw materials price not too much of food, which they added unnecessary price! peoples can compromise sometimes room rate bcz room is good but if I added one night stay for two peoples there, they needed to spend almost double of room rate price only for food if they had moderate eater even they don’t offer price including breakfast.

Good stay mixed feeling

Good calm and quiet place.

Too difficult to get orders in. Basic amenities are there but additionally for Vilas of such stature minimum requirements is a small kitchen or at least a microwave.

Good environment with natural beauty. For experiencing nature closely for couple of days this property is best.

The restaurant is very costly. You have no other alternative as the place is far away from city limits Need maps for knowing all the location. Otherwise somebody should brief customers regarding the places and location. WIFI was not available in my place.
