Nice stay close to Efteling - could do with better curtains in the bedroom

The locations on the edge of a national park with sand dunes was great and being in the area the accommodation was very quiet. There was lots of space in the apartment with some space to enjoy meals outside. There was a lovely play area for children as well with a sunken trampoline which was well received!

The bedrooms could really do with some better curtains/blinds (ideally black out ones). Given it was light at roughly 4:30am during mid-summer it was very light in the bedrooms from that time which affected sleeping. Being on the edge of the national park, it's understandable that there's wildlife around but whilst the owners had put down ant traps in some corners of the living room/kitchen, we ended up with ants over the kitchen and around/on our shopping that we'd left on the side. We ended up having to put some in a high cupboard and then also keep some in our car.

Great choice and I wouldn’t change anything!

Perfect place to stay as a couple or a family! The bungalows are way bigger than they look on the picture! Ours was the smallest one, with two bedrooms, private bathroom (shower only, no bathtub), a fully supplied kitchen with everything you need (even complimentary coffee nespresso capsules for the machine they provide), TV with cable and several channels. But what we loved was that the playground is like an extension of the porch, so we could sit comfortably while our son played with so many available toys! A trampoline, several bikes and toy cars, unbranded legos, (toy) kitchen, three slides,… my so. Loved it and didn’t want to leave! The restaurant that is part of the property is great, nicest waiters and bartenders, great food!

They don’t have air conditioning or fans, but if you open your window during the day the Bungalow would be ok during the night (you have to close everything due to mosquitos since it is so close to nature) - we were there in the summer so it was really warm, but they do have heaters for the winter.

wish we could have stayed longer

fabulous accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. My daughters loved the enclosed park. Fantastic location for Efteling. Highly recommend and hope to return some day.

Perfect place to stay with young children

The private sauna, the limited number of houses on the property (only 4 houses ), the central playground in front of the house (you could keep an eye on yours kids from the terrace), bikes were cheap to rent (16€ for 2 bikes, for a whole day, including seats for our kids), relaxed atmosphere from the 'hosts' (no stress: e.g. we were a little bit late for the check-out but nobody made fuss about it, very easy to pick up and return the bikes)

Only real 'complain' was the shower curtain For the rest everything was really fine . Maybe a small tip: put less light in the sauna, that way it feels more relaxing

warm and comfy feeling for these wooden houses, nice for a few days!

it’s smaller than it looks but it’s nice and comfy, with the garden in front for the kids! the dunes just start a few meters away and it’s really close to Efteling! the restaurant is simple but perfect with kids! it’s quite busy during the day but very quiet at night

you can hear a bit the neighbors from the other wooden houses. it’s all a bit on the parking lot…

Absolutely loved the cabin, perfect location for Efteling.

Staff were friendly and helpful Loved the outdoor area and cute sofa snug with gas fire. Great that you have dedicated parking space.

The Bathroom could do with an upgrade, shower quite old and not powerful Oven too small to cook a family meal in. Could do with a proper oven.

cosy and relaxing. ideal for families.

beautiful and well maintained place. loved the construction of the huts. personal Sauna was a big bonus. overall a very relaxing and cosy place.

walls are probably not very thick and you can hear lot of noise from neighbors. also the beds were not comfortable. however location and the cosy factor of the huts offset these issues.

Exceptional

Beautiful nature around, very relaxing surroundings, close to efteling and national park. The house was spacious and cosy, very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Good internet. Sauna inside the house gives even more points to this place. There is a nice playground for the kids with lots of toys and bicycles.

Great location, but neighbor's noisy floors wake you up.

The location is great for families with (young) children, as there is plenty of things to do, like the trampoline and bikes for all sizes, and the entire area is closed of by fences, bushes, or gates, so they small ones can't easily escape. Within walking distance, there's walking in the woods, a playground with water games next to a terrace with drinks, ice creams and food. Host called to verify whether we had read the email they sent with regard to where the key would be hidden, as the front desk would be closed on our day of arrival.

The floors are made of wood, which is a nice touch, but also very squeaky and incredibly noisy. This becomes a problem when your direct neighbors have a different sleep schedule. It's almost as if people are walking in the room with you when the neighbors are waking up or going to bed. And we had quiet neighbors for that matter! I can't imagine what our stay had been like if we had young adults staying next to us going to bed and rummaging around in the middle of the night. The front desk is closed on Wednesdays. Not a big deal, but might be inconvenient for some.

The house is warm, has a nice terrace and a big place for the kids to play.

The location is really good, just at the entrance of the Loonse Duinen nature park, but is also a very populat spot so it gets very busy. Very early in the morning you are already sorrounded by cars and people.
