Accueil sympathique et présentation de l'île de la Réunion. Une chambre bien équipée dans un emplacement au calme. Et le bonus : les galettes de pinpin au petit déjeuner!

Richard is an angel of a host, exceptionally kind and is a wealth of knowledge about Reunion. Talking with him about volcanoes for 2 hours was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Ensemble très moyen

L'emplacement est idéal pour sillonner le sud sauvage et la restauration aux environs est bonne. Dormir sans la clim pour profiter de la fraîcheur de l'air nocturne tout ouvert.

Un établissement vieillissant. Malgré les efforts des propriétaires, l'humidité règne, la climatisation prévue dans notre chambre brassait surtout la poussière dans un bruit constant, dommage.

Séjour agréable et instructif

L'accueil au top 👍 merci à Richard et sa compagne 😊 Petit déjeuner complet avec des produits du terroir qu'on a pas forcément l'habitude de consommer 😋 le discours de Richard sur la Réunion, le volcan, très intéressant on est sorti de là avec un peu plus de connaissances sur cette magnifique Île 🏝️

Urlaub wie bei Muttern

Richard und Marie-Claude waren hervorragende Gastgeber. Vor allem Richard war bestens informiert und hat uns die schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Saint Philippe geschildert, auch die, die nicht im Reiseführer zu finden sind. Aber vor allem seine Schilderungen zum Abendessen und zum Frühstück waren ein besonderes Erlebnis. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sauber, die Aussicht grandios. Immer wieder gerne.

Charming stay in a hotel where time had stopped

It has a unique charm, which we did not saw anywhere else on the island. It really is visible that the duo behind this hotel makes it a great place to stay. Regarding the location, it is fairly near to a very interesting sights (30 min by foot).

Incredibly cosy and personal accommodation tucked away in the sugar fields

The property is located about a kilometre off the main highway near Saint Joseph. It’s set in the middle of the sugar cane fields making for a very tranquil and, overall, lovely setting. The hosts are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We arrived later in the evening and missed the dinner service at Pipin, but the hosts were quick to recommend an excellent place where we could eat and phoned ahead to ensure it would stay open and accommodate us. The room was wonderfully cosy and clean, and with screens on the doors and windows we could sleep with cool natural air flowing around the room. Breakfast was simple but filing, consisting of bread, coffee and tea with a variety of spreads. Of all the places we stayed while in Reunion, Pinpin definitely stood out as a place we would have liked to have spent a second night relaxing, going for walks and writing post cards. My partner and I would definitely recommend Pipin to any traveller and particularly couples looking for a nice quiet and homely escape.
