Een B&B om nooit meer te vergeten!

Een echte Italiaanse B&B, waar de gasten op nummer 1 staan. We werden meteen hartelijk ontvangen door Luigi en Lily (de lieve huishond) met een drankje en Italiaans gebakje. Ondanks dat Luigi geen Engels spreekt en wij geen Italiaans, gaf hij ons via Google translate leuke tips qua dorpjes en restaurants. De kamer was typisch Italiaans ingericht, schoon, en had openslaande deuren naar het prachtige zwembad en de mooie tuin. Iedere dag kregen we schone handdoeken. Het matras was wel echt Italiaans, dus even wennen als je een boxspring gewend bent, maar dit past bij het geheel. Het ontbijt is een echte ervaring, waarbij de vrolijke Antoinella er echt een feestje van maakt. De lekkernijen blijven maar komen, ervaar het zelf zou ik zeggen. Enige minpuntje is dat er helaas geen/nauwelijks wifi is op de kamers, iets wat makkelijk opgelost zou kunnen worden met een wifi-versterker. Bij de ontbijtruimte is de wifi wel goed. Hier kan je ‘s avonds ook gaan zitten. Al met al zeker een aanrader om een paar nachtjes te verblijven!

Would 100% recommend!

It's really a beautiful and peaceful place full with flowers and a nice atmosphere. The hosts are really friendly and make you feel at home. Every morning they make a 4 course breakfast which is really lovely. Adding to this is the great swimming pool and it's close location to Lecce, beaches and Otranto makes this B&B a real treasure!

It's nitpicking, and probably many people don't care, but I think that wifi in the room and not only in the courtyard would have been nice.

A wonderful stay in salento

Everything was amazing! The owners are genuinely kind Italians who love what they do. The place is beautiful, Everything feels perfect. The swimming pool, the breakfast, the room ,(spotlessly clean) the very friendly dog, the garden and fruit trees. It was an amazing stay really. Big plus is the short distance to amazing beaches and the city of lecce. Both only 20 min away

The place to be

‘Corte dei Salentini’ is a peace-oasis in a strategic point where you can easily reach the most important towns and beaches in 15/30 minutes. The property is just stunning, built in the typical Apulien “masseria” baroque-style with a super relaxing swimming-pool and premises. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, open to give the best advices you could have. Last but not least, best breakfast ever.

Perfect paradise. Stunning place, charming hosts and beautiful breakfasts.

Everything! For us it was absolutely perfect in every way. We stayed for a week and completely relaxed. Luigi and Antonella are wonderful hosts - attentive yet not intrusive in any way; totally discreet. The house and garden are sublime. It's a paradise! Swimming in the salt water pool after a few hours of exploring the Salento area was the ultimate relaxation - just listening to the cicadas and the breeze through the olive trees surrounding the pool was bliss. Lecce, Otranto, beaches etc all nearby. The nearest little town Martano was a nightly trip for us to sit at the fountain with a drink and then find somewhere to eat locally. Finally, Antonella's breakfasts are amazing; the best we've had including fruit from their trees, melt-in-the-mouth pastries, different breads, freshly picked rocket on the cucumber and beautiful rolled up mozzarella. She makes her breakfasts with love and care. We can't wait to return one day!

Would recommend to anyone visiting Salento!

The B&B is beautiful and so peaceful. The hosts are the sweetest people and very caring. Location is great to visit the south of Puglia: Salento. Sant’Andrea is 20 minutes away and the most beautiful spot to swim.

Can’t wait to stay again!

Everything! it was the most relaxing holiday and we loved the hosts. Breakfast was always a delight and so fresh. We had a car so the location was great for us, only 20 minutes to some of the best beaches. We also loved having a wine on the patio every night by the pool.

Fantastic place

Corte dei Salentini is a very beautiful, relaxing and charming place where the owner Luigi will make your stay as welcoming as possible. He is so heart-warming and made recommendations to us for sightseeing, restaurants nearby (both restaurants were fantastic), he made reservation for us at the restaurant, he is getting up in the morning to pick up fruits from his own garden for the breakfast and he surprised us with juices in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the stay very much. The pool area is spacious and very clean between olive trees. Wifi was not working in the room, only at the (breakfast-) terrace but not an issue for us as we are on holidays. Every day we received fresh towels which we did not expected at all. We highly can recommend to stay there if you are looking for a personal touch and enjoy the calmness beyond Otranto.

A perfectly located oasi of peace

The country house is perfectly located, so you can reach either East or West coast at the same time. A beautiful garden surrounds the traditional house with a small inner courtyard, where it’s so pretty to have breakfast in the morning (also super good!). There’s a newly pool and Antonella and Luigi from the staff are always sono helpful and funny!

Our room was the only one located next to the washing room, so sometimes was a bit disturbing. The bed wasn’t ideal for a newly couple in love ;)

The staff/owners were amazing. They had us smiling and laughing in the mornings for breakfast. The location is nice and quiet and the facilities are amazing. We loved our stay and would recommend to others.

I wish I had more time here!!

Luigi and his wife Antonella run this beautiful B&B. It is surrounded by an immaculately maintained and peaceful garden. We stayed here for three nights in the Deluxe Doubleroom. The room had airconditioning, a very nice and clean bathroom and a small kitchen which suffices to do some home cooking (which we did one night). The rooms are cleaned everyday. Behind the house is a, again perfectly maintained, relatively big swimming pool. Our room came with a small private patio that overlooks the pool. The location of the B&B is perfect as a home base to discover most of Salento by car. Antonella takes care of the breakfast, which is plentiful and delicious!! Both Luigi en Antonella do not speak english, but they do spend a great amount of time making you feel at home and providing you with local drinks and bites and tips about the area which all did come across with some handgesturing and poor Italian from our side. We left feeling like we wanted to stay another night. A great experience with fantastic hosts!

The hotel is organised around a beautifully maintained courtyard, in a well preserved ancient looking villa complex. There is a new swimming pool in the garden and well equipped sunbathing area available for the guests. Mr Luigi, the host, has been very kind and attentive, giving us suggestions and recommendations about the local area. Location is in the quiet Salento countryside at a short driving distance from beautiful beaches and cultural heritage sites.
