Incredible Location and Sparkling Clean
The location of this apartment is incredible! Only a five minute walk from the train station from the airport and a five minute walk to the Louvre museum. The apartment is nestled into a little side street that also has several eateries, a bomb pastry shop, a couple of boutiques and the ORIGINAL Christian Louboutin store. The property itself is very cute, much better than it looks in the photographs posted on the listing. It was sparkling clean and the kitchen has been recently updated and is very nice. The first couple of days we were there, scaffolding was on the balcony for refurbishing and we were unable to use it but on day three the scaffolding came down. We absolutely loved being able to have coffee and a croissant on the balcony and watch the activity on the street as the day began. The space is quite small but worked perfectly for just the two of us. There is a second small bed that COULD be a sleeping space for a third person but I wouldn’t recommend that. We used that bed to lay out our clothing and stage our outfits for the upcoming days. There is a small closet but it is quite tight and having this additional space was great. I was a little bit concerned that it would be noisy at night because there is quite a bit of activity on that street. The apartment has been upgraded with fantastic new windows and as soon as we shut the window it was completely silent inside! What a bonus! We would 100% return to this property on a future visit to Paris and will also be recommending it to any family or friends that plan to travel there.
We had a miscommunication before checking in that I am chalking up to lost in translation with our host. I had recently lost the credit card that I used to make this reservation and had received a new on before traveling. I updated it for our Barcelona reservation the week before we came to Paris but did not realize that Booking.com did not update it universally across the site. The day before we arrived I received an email with check in info and also asking for cash on arrival from the host. I have NEVER been asked to pay in cash for a reservation made through this site. I replied that I thought we would be able to pay with my credit card and asked if payment in cash was necessary and the host sent me instructions on where to find a bank. When I looked over the reservation I realized my card was not updated for this reservation and I immediately did so. I tried to call and explain this but Michele’s wife Yuliia said that if we couldn’t pay for the apartment we couldn’t stay there. She suggested I get someone to Western Union the money to me. This is not what I was saying at all. I could get cash from the bank if it was absolutely necessary but the listing says that credit cards are accepted. When Michele got off work that day he called and I asked again if I could pay by credit card. He said he had a credit card reader and would come to the property to collect payment. I prefer to pay for my lodging when I travel by card so that I have an electronic record and also my card does not charge foreign currency exchange fees. Michele was very pleasant when we met and I felt that this issue was resolved to my satisfaction. He offered suggestions for where to find things locally and asked if there was anything else we needed. After this stressful (for me) situation was resolved we had a wonderful stay at the apartment. We would definitely stay there again.

excellent location studio with lift and balcony
excellent location at 1arr, walk to metro Louvre Rivoli station about 4mins. what a pity the balcony refurbish during we stay. Tiny lift but it is big for enough for two luggages and one person to stand inside.
contact the host at least a week ago as sometimes difficult to get the reply.

Clean, cozy place in a great location
Perfect location and a very clean, cozy apartment. It's small but we found it comfortable for the three of us. The kitchen had everything you might need. It's very, very close to the Louvre and other major points of interest, with great bakeries and restaurants around, several supermarkets, etc. The hosts are great and we hope to stay with them again.
