Superb

The room was spacious and clean with a large double bed and a big toilet/shower room. Great pool and a restaurant on site with lots of options at good pricing. The staff were lovely and quick to help with everything we needed.

Our front door was broken and we could spend up to 5 minutes trying to close and lock it to go out. The staff did come to help with it, which was great, but still a bit annoying when trying to get out for the day.

Room was big enough, bathroom was good with hot water, pool is wonderful,smart tv for watching movies, good pool table location is good. Ford is a nice warm person that tries to please all his guests.

Food at the restaurant is over priced for small portion .

The greatest stay i had in whole of Thailand and i visited Bangkok , Koh Samui , Koh Phangan,Phuket.

The staff was excellent. Mr.Ford took care of me like I was one of his own family. Could not reccomend this resort more.

The staff were super nice and pleasant, even gave me an alternative waterfall recommendation which I thoroughly enjoyed! I cannot stress enough that they are what made my stay here enjoyable.

The room was old and dated. Compared to other locations I stayed at for similar and even cheaper prices, this location was not worth it. The door was in rough shape and broke the first morning, but they kindly and promptly fixed it for us.

Home away from home!

We had a wonderful 1.5 month stay at the friendly, family-run Ford resort. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, equipped with a bar fridge, coffee making facility and flat screen tv with internet access. The delux rooms have the most comfortable mattresses - best mattresses in Thailand! Our room was cleaned regularly, with the sheets and towels changed every time.The large pool was well maintained and crystal clear. A big plus is the free pool table where many enjoyable evenings were spent playing pool with the owners Ford and Pappa! The resort has a very good restaurant serving a variety of great dishes. From the restaurant, we watched beautiful sunsets whilst sipping on cocktails. The owners and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We felt like it was a home away from home. Our thanks to Ford and his family and staff for making us feel so welcome which made our stay so enjoyable. At the Ford Resort you arrive as a guest and leave as family! We will be sure to stay at The Ford Resort when next we visit Thailand.

Bedroom nice and the location is good to explore the island. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when our ferry was late arriving and stayed up to check us in. The bar area is great for relaxing!

Overall our stay was good but there were some insects in the bathroom (mainly ants though which didn't bother us too much) The walls were also very thin so we could hear everything said by neighbours next door.

The pool did not look safe to swim in, the water was bright green. The bathroom had mold in it and there were multiple cockroaches there.

Sunset Success at Ford Resort

Friendly resort. I met a lot if people here. Ford and his family are down to earth. Warm and helpful people. I would have given a higher rating but the restaurant was not open during my stay. When the restaurant opens and the building work is completed the Ford Resort will be even better. Ideally situated between Srithanu and Thong Sala you are within a short drive of either Zen Heaven or Nightlife. Ideal for Solo travellers looking to make friends or Digital Nomads looking to use the large working spaces at the fron of the resort. I ended up staying much,, much longer than 4 days. Despite the heavy building work that was going on during my stay I will definitely be returning to Ford Resort for my next stay. The friendly atmosphere, cleanliness of the rooms, door to door laundry service, swimming pool, spectacular sunsets and price are all great.. I will be looking forward to eating at the restaurant and enjoying sunset!

Cute place by the sea. Lovely staff. I would stay here again! Staff went the real extra mile. We forgot something in the room and they mailed it to us. This is truly fantastic, and will be forever thankful to the FORD. Amazing.

Excellent hotel and loved the staff

Super friendly staff who we enjoyed engaging with and sharing a game of pool! Really good value for money and close to nice beach bars and restaurants and the Amsterdam Bar. Also easy to hire a moped from the hotel for a very good price! We look forward to going back!!

Great value for money

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was basic but great value.

It’s on quite a busy road, so chilling in the hammock at the restaurant isn’t too relaxing.

One of our best hotel experiences on Koh Phangan. We had the deluxe double room with sea view. The view was beautiful overlooking palm trees and the sea. The hotel owner is incredibly nice and you even have the option to eat on the spot or to order food to your room. The room itself was modern and very clean. The location is also perfect with great restaurants and only a 10 minute drive to beautiful Zen Beach. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We felt super comfortable and will be back!
