Great area to stay and great access to Plitvice and hiking and rafting.

Lots of activities to do in the area. And hostel was great at promoting those activities. Good area for cooking. Clean bathroom facilities.

The hostel is probably one of the best mainly due to how easy it was to meet people and go for hikes.

Guess the self service remove bedsheets part. It is not a big deal but just an extra step.

Just a drive thru this city by bicycle. Its a confy hostel.

Very close to Plitvice Lakes National Park!!!

The location was excellent for us, very close to Plitvice Lakes National Park where we were headed. Staff was helpful and easy to access and the receptionist even gave us tips and information about the National Park!! Kitchen facilities were really good.

Beautiful place near Plitvice Lakes National Park

Friendly people, clean room, kitchen, many friendly travellers. Near bus station. There is a shuttle to the Plitvice Lakes National Park and back to the hostel every day. Plitvice is amazing, so beautiful. Also possible hiking to the mountains.

Homely vibes

Loved my stay here; it was peaceful and I felt at home. They also request to remove your shoes at the door, which is a great rule! I came here during October so it was mostly empty with only few guests, so it was great value for money. Spacious rooms with comfy beds, big bathrooms and clean kitchen. Short shuttle bus ride to Plitvice. Highly recommend this hostel.

Nothing really, but would love to see a desk and some shelves/wardrobe space in the room to lay your things out.

The hostel is very clean and has all the facilities including Kitchen and sitting area!

Staff did not look like well informed or not interested in your questions ! You really need to plan or help in getting around Plitvice as there is no proper transport around the place.

Nice lower cost stay

The staff was nice, the hostel offers cool activities and they have plenty of board games to use. The bed was comfortable, the rooms got cleaned every day. Every bed had outlets and small lamps. Bus stop and supermarkets are close.

Wifi was a nightmare. Horrible. There were a couple things that needed repair in the kitchen. The fridges were a little small, I'd imagine it to be a problem when the hostel is fully booked. Later in the evening there was no hot water in the showers left. Some sofas would be nice for the common area.

Loved Falling Lakes! Good clean comfortable hostel. Offers shuttles to the National park and offers other trips/activities. The vibe was really good. Big lockers under the bed, a light and plug socket for each bunk bed. Good sized communal area.

Value for money

The hostel is a very great value for money place to stay, very basic lodging and amenities. The kitchen is a decent size with all you need to whip up some meals. They offer a shuttle service to the lakes every day for 100kuna round trip which leaves from the front door, the staff were nice and accommodating, full of knowledge and very chilled out

The pillows were extremely small and the rooms extremely basic, no pedestal fan or A/C The curtains offer no light blockage, so you will be woken up early morning if you are sensitive to the light. Also this isn't against the hostel. But the church a couple streets over rings its bells every morning at 6 am for what feels like 1-2 minutes. It's pretty loud.

This is a lovely hostel near to the lakes and close to the mountains. The rooms are large and have large lockers. The bathrooms are clean. The common area is large too. The staff is very helpful and help you pick some beautiful hiking spots, apart from organizing a shuttle bus to the lakes.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in

You can find everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The rooms are okay, but you need to take your own lock. The hostel organizes activities like hikes or kayaking and a shuttle to the Plitvice Lakes National Park and back to the hostel. It was very easy to meet new people.

The light in the toilet turns on and off, so for a lot of the time, you can see nothing. The shuttle is not reliable if you book it only to get back to the hostel from the National Park, because it did not stop for me at the 2nd entrance.

I wish the showers downstairs had shelves or somewhere to put clothes to stay dry while showering.

I stayed two nights and it was ideal to visit the Plitvic lakes and do a trail close to the hostel.

Everything was good! Kitchen clean, staff welcoming and good bedrooms. I took a 4 persons bedroom. Since people don't stay a long time and wake up early, it's easy to feel good there.

very good clean tidy and cute place to be. people were very friendly and welcoming. we had a sudden change of plan and had to check out a day earlier than planned and the staff helped us to modify our booking with no extra cost. would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Korenica.

its in a very small town so there is nothing much to do other than be in the hostel or go for hikes. so if you want to explore the neighbourhood, this isn’t the best place to be in.

Nice little hostel, easy drive to plitvice. Clean, comfy. I was able to park my motorbike in front. Luggage storage available if you wanna visit the park after checkout.

shaky bed - impossible to sleep with the one sharing the bunk with you constantly turning all night. not enough bathroom / toilets in the morning as everyone gets up super early the same time. not enough fridge space at all and messy kitchen. a great shuttle service to Plitvice Lakes

One of my favourite stays ever! From the start staff were friendly, helpful and around all the time. The hostel is clean and tidy, no shoes around the building and the cleaning is done regularly and thoroughly. Everyone was super sociable and so friendly. Loads of information about local activities, advice and a shuttle to take you to and from the local main activity (Plitvice National Park). Rooms were very spacious, huge under bed locker to store all items and lock them away, plenty of space in the room. Lights and plugs at the bed. Toilets and showers were spacious, loads of room, clean and tidy. They were individual showers, so loads of space to place items etc.

The kitchen was pretty messy, not the staff's fault but people weren't cleaning up after themselves. I paid for the hostel to do my laundry, it was quite expensive (80kuna). I didn't get my washing back until over 24hours later and it was still damp. A little frustrating when I was told I would have it back early evening the same day. Showers were very low pressure.

Best option for solo travellers going to Plitvice Lakes

The hostel has a great vibe! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of showers, including a non gender bathroom. Tha space in the kitchen and the terrace are great to hang out and talk to other travellers. They also offer some other activities such as kayaking and sunset hiking. I didn't do those because I was there only for one night, but it made me wish I stayed longer. The hostel has a shuttle service to the Plitvice Lakes that is very handy. Since I went from Zagreb to Plitvice with all my luggage, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get to the hostel, but the manager told me about the shuttle service and it was super easy.

It is a bit far from the lakes, but actually it's kind of good because the neighborhood where the hostel is is lovely :)

Great hostel. Very clean, good facilities. Its in a small village that has everything you need. We came by car, could park here easily and driving to the lakes was only 15 min.
