Beautiful cosy place close to everything

Beautiful old building! I stayed in the new wing behind the church as there is limited accommodation in the church. The room was great. Very comfy bed, nice little outdoor deck, very quiet location despite being on the main street.

Really enjoyed short stay in interesting accommodstion

Quaint and historical. First class fixtures and fittings.

Expected a little provision for breakfast. Crockery very heavy. Had to spend time shopping (long walk for elderly to food shop).

Beautiful and quirky apartment

We stayed in room 1, a beautiful and quirky apartment kitted out with a queen bed, a comfortable sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. The shower was amazing and the bathroom was hella cute. IGA and Woolworths are within walking distance, as are many other dining options and cafes. There is also an easy walking trail nearby to some great platypus spotting locations along the Obi Obi creek.

We had a few issues getting our phones to charge and it's worth noting that if you are using this town as a Basecamp for Australia Zoo, Maleny Bird World, and the Mary Cairncross (all excellent places btw) most of the retail and specialty stores that aren't food centric tend to open from 9 to 4pm.

Ticks all the boxes!!

Everything about this place, ticks all the boxes!! Location! Comfy bed! Quirky LED bedside lights! All the little things that are too many to list!! The host has always been friendly and accommodating!! This is our 2nd stay here and certainly not our last!!

Car parking can be a little squished, but having said that, we've never had an issue

In general.. Great! + I have included a few photos of the friendly locals we met.

Location and relative privacy

When we return in the cooler months, and choose the ground floor room with fireplace, we will be mindful that the unit downstairs hears all the foot traffic throughout the night, as their bathroom is at the opposite end of the unit. We had some heavy footed residents above on one of the evenings.

Comfortable well appointed unit, convenient location

Location is right in the middle of Maleny, walking distance to multiple restaurants, bakery, and grocery store. Ground floor deluxe apartment (#3) is easy to access from the sidewalk and the parking area. Decor and comfort level in the apartment was excellent. Nice size so it didn't feel cramped with 2 adults and 2 small kids. Well equipped kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. It's not a budget option but it is a very nice stay.

There was a cobweb under the wood fired heater? There's not much not to like.

Fantastic apartment.. will recommend to friends and family

We stayed in room 4 which was down about 12 stairs I think… my mum has poor mobility but the stairs were no problem at all because there was a good sturdy hand rail. the room was very nicely decorated with everything you need for a short/ long break… in fact I would have been happy to live there! The best bit about the apartment was the full length balcony… perfect for sitting out with your morning tea/coffee. My husband and I actually slept on the sofa bed which had a surprisingly thick and comfy mattress unlike most! The bathroom was was spacious and my mum found it easy to get in and out of the shower. The complimentary shampoo and conditioner was of a good quality. The location and the rear of The Old Church meant it was very quiet.. the location at the top end of the Main Street made it a good starting point for exploring Maleny.

The fridge made a few funny clunking and tapping noises overnight which at first I thought was the neighbours tapping on the wall … but that’s what fridges do and it was only because we were sleeping in the sofa that we heard it.

You absolutely need more than just a weekend. There's so much to see and do,

Location is great, perfect for walking to cafes, niche and crafty businesses and stores + incredible woodfired pizza and alternative dinning experiences. Wish we had a couple more nights booked actually; though easy enough to get to: google maps probably needs updating (or my mobile) local maps and referdex will do just fine..

Very good

Weeks before our arrival I mentioned that we would need the sofa bed made up, there were definitely sheets etc on it but it was incredibly difficult to get out of the sofa and not set up for us. I'm young and fit but had my mum and anyone older had to do it...well, there is no way. I think for $330 a night the bed should have been out and ready to use if you specify prior that it will be required. Otherwise the accommodation is great.

Very enjoyable except for the noise at times

There were lots of places in wAlking distance

Unfortunately we had a young family above us and we could hear them running up and down . I would come back but would pay extra for an upstairs apartment.

The location was perfect - very easy access to shopping and dining options but at the end of the street so very quiet. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Dissatisfaction as it was expensive for a 3 night stay and was expecting much more

There was no breakfast supplied we went out to the local cafe where breakfast was good

The room above needs carpet or sound proof as the 3 nights we stayed we could hear people and a child running up and down late at night? And also we killed a few cockroaches in the room

Relaxing stay, centrally located.

Location is great, steps from cafes and shops. The property is unique, spacious, and our unit had a full kitchen and spacious outdoor area. Tranquil surroundings, we had a great and relaxing time. Terri is a great host.

Minor point- noise from unit above at times - will definitely come back but will stay upstairs next time.

easy and smooth check in and great location for walking around town and getting meals or going for a wander.

it was quaint, quirky and a great location.

The bathroom mirror was too high 😂 but part of its charm overall was the unique bathroom.
