Fabulous stay and great value for money!

The staff were exceptional and couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

We loved everything! But guests should be aware that it's quite a walk down to the village for food!

April 2023 stay

A great stay- we were in both the regular room and the apartment. Both were comfy and the apartment was very spacious. The owners work very hard and are quite helpful. Breakfast is very good. Wifi is okay, not great but that is expected out in the middle of nowhere. Room was in good repair. Great location for a lot of the hiking trails in the area.

We had a great experience in this hotel. We stayed there for our first night in the Menalon Trail, the view from the room was beautiful, 10 min walk to the Center of the village. Great breakfast and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

A special place to visit. Another Greece, very green and an amazing trail through the Lousios Gorge. The breakfast was wonderful.

Great hideaway off the beaten tourist tracks

Excellent location in a wonderful little village in the mountains. The host was very attentive and friendly. The room was very clean and cozy. Great experience.

we shared the 2 bedroom apartment with the cave style fireplace living room it was so inviting so relaxing and so unique

Don't miss Gartahani guest house

The whole guest house is very nice, new and clean. You can immediately see the attention and kindness towars the guests, such as fresh water, tea and local sweets in the room. The room is large, very clean and with a balcony and an Amazing view over Stemnitsa. The breakfast sas over the top ! Hope to come back! τα λέμε

Amazing place and hosts

Everything was just amazing: the service, the hostel, the room, the views, the kindness of the personnel and the amazing breakfast they prepared. The host always looked after us and even allowed us to keep the car one extra day while we were hiking. We will definitely come back again!

Great location & host !

The location is wonderful, just a 5min walk from the cute village center. The host is very welcoming, making sure you have everything to enjoy your stay, and helps you to plan your visits. They are refurbishing to improve the hotel experience. Breakfast was fantastic !

This was the best accomodation I had in Greece. If you are looking for relax, highest quality standard in hospitality visit Gartagani Guest House. Welcoming host, very clean apartments, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, view was stunning to the mountains and the village with solid, well mentained and stylish houses. I wish we could stay longer. Definitely will return there one day.

Cosy rooms with panoramic views

Amazing mountain views over the village of Stemnitsa. The room was cosy and clean. We went for a hike in the morning and then enjoyed a hearty breakfast :-)

The location was perfect and we had a wonderful view from our balcony. The breakfast was really tasty and there were lots of nice choices. What I liked the most it was that there was not a buffet, you were sitting at your table and the breakfast was brought to you by the staff.

Great place with lovely hosters

The hosts were so lovely and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We had a great view from our window and we used the free parking outside. It is a very quiet place as a result as the guest house is outside the village center. The breakfast was better than we expected and was very tasty and diverse.

The room was a bit smaller than we expected and the bed itself was a bit tight for a couple (about 1.50 meters).

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the Gartagani Guesthouse.

Breakfast was great, so was the room and the overall service. Because we wanted to start early on our hike from Stemnitza to Dimitsana, our host was so kind to serve us breakfast very early.

Excellent, spacious and peaceful

Wonderful family-owned hotel with an amazing view of Stemnitsa and the Louisos valley. Spacious with plenty of common areas both indoors and outdoors. Quiet and peaceful, on the outskirts of Stemnitsa.

Parking in the narrow alleys of Stemnitsa is a challenge ;)

Host went beyond what we expected--was attentive, cheerful, helpful. Breakfast was very good, freshly prepared, and more than we could eat. The shared common space was quite pleasant and a nice addition to our room. Nice courtyard overlooking Stemnitsa.
