On the second day of our stay on Kohron Sanloem, we went to the western part of the island, where we found ourselves in a true paradise. We hadn't experienced such peace in a long time—all thanks to the owner and his colleagues, who looked after us carefully. Everything was perfect; right next to the bungalows and yurts is a beautiful beach where you can easily spend the whole day reading or relaxing. Our bungalow was very comfortable, but we were only in it for the night anyway. We enjoyed the beach with the sunset and hiking around the island. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks are excellent at Sleeping Trees.
We didn't find any shortcomings.

Amazing location, bathrooms cleaned often, nice areas to chill and hangout! Good pizza
Staff were a little rude

This truly is a hidden paradise! We loved the location, the beach, the food, the staff.. everything! The beach is very clean and quiet. We stayed at a bungalow listening to the waves of the sea and some noises of the jungle. It's also a wonderful place to go snorkeling, directly from the beach. At Sleeping Trees there are a lot of trees and cozy hammocks, we loved relaxing in the shade during the heat. Beautiful!
Hiking to Sunset Beach can be a little of an adventure. Do it with a light backpack and leave all the extra stuff on the other side of the island if there's too much.

Supernettes Personal, kleine Küche mit leckerem Essen, was will man mehr

Location. Very clean. Beautiful beach. Very friendly staff. Good food. Good restaurants on the beach.
Nothing.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location on a quiet beach, clean. The only facility on Sunset Beach where wi-fi is available in the public area.
It is quite far from the boat dock from Shihanoukville and the last half mile of the journey, especially with luggage, is a difficult path through the jungle.

Great French and Khmer staff. Clean facilities. Bungalows near the beach were comfortable. Good food. Highly recommended
8.0
The location is perfect, amongst the trees and on the beach. The staff were great and helpful if anything was needed and the food was also great here too. Best beach on the island. The bar and chillout areas are what makes this place.
With electricity being a premium on the island there were no fans or AC so the rooms were very hot at night and my bed was lumpy from the uneven bed slats
8.0
Beautiful set up. Sunset beach is lovely and quiet and the hostel space is amazing - hammocks, swings, seating areas aplenty.
I'm 6'2 and too tall for my bunk-bed bed. And no AC in the rooms, made some nights difficult.

Right between the jungle and a beautiful secluded beach. It was extremely comfortable and clean (is really hard to keep anything on a tropical beach clean) and food was delicious.
I am pretty good swimmer myself, and the sea obviously looked a little bit rough, but a quick advice on the beach currents wouldn't have been out of place :)
10.0
Clean, well looked after tents, bungalows and dorms. Delicious food. On a beach that is like actual paradise, with hammocks to choose from, books and a pool table at your disposal. Well worth the hike over to Sunset Beach.
If you’re expecting Wi-Fi and A/C this isn’t the spot for you. In my opinion it was part of the charm. The dorms are 3 x rooms of 1 bunk beds with a mosquito net but otherwise very simple, so manage expectations there.

Fantastic location! Defiantly worth the little jungle-hike.
10.0
Beautiful place and cheap. The pool table is really nice.
The only problem is how to sleep without a fan. The power is just enough for the ligh and charging cell phones.
10.0
The location is just like something from a book. Perfect. The food is very tasty, alternating between bbq and wood fired pizzas. The crepes are also very tasty. The beach is stunning and well looked after by each resort along the beach, not like the Saracen Bay side. Go while you still can before the Cambodian government decides to let the whole island be destroyed.
The bed could be a bit more comfortable although that could be said for 99.9% of the beds in south east Asia.
6.0
This place is a small piece of heaven. Right on the beach it is an adventure to get there, stay and go back! there is a 40 mins hike through the forest to get there so be prepared.
There should be better directions from the pier and advices on the way there.
9.0
beautiful tent directly on the beach! Wonderful hamacs to chill all day
be careful, they say there is wifi on their description but there is not!

The resort Is súper clean and in front of the beach. There are Many chairs, tables, AND hammocks to enjoy the beach. The tipi (tent) it's beautiful and confortable.
Nothing.

great beautiful and quiet location, comfortable mattress, clean sheets
very very hot in the tent. A small fan or something similar is definitely needed

Amazing place on sunset beach. Restaurant was delicious but limited with dinner options. Staff were nice and helpful.Whether you're looking to relax and do nothing, or if you want activities and some adventure, you can find options for both. A few options for food along the beach so don't be scared to venture out and try new things.
It is a good 40/50 minutes treck from the main pier. 10 minutes of rocky up and 10 for getting down to the beach. Wear comfortable clothing and good shoes and take it easy.
The mosquito nets were very helpful in the room. Pack your strongest bugspray

I loved my stay at Sleeping trees on the idyllic Sunset beach. I stayed in the dorms which are actually 2 people room with bunk beds, which was very nice. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. The owners are super nice and make the most delicious pancakes I had in Asia. The place overall has a very chill and nice vibe with a great common space (hammocks, pool table, and even an outdoor gym!!). Amazing stay, would 100% recommend❤️
4.0
The beach is beautiful, but the vibe is fake somehow. It is great to have some days off, with no contact with the world. But it is a touristic bubble
1. Overpriced. Especially the food. I recommend to come here and bring your own meals, like i did (fruits, bread, marmelade, instant noodles).
2.beds in the dorm are really uncomfortable, with "valleys "and bulks
3. It is all owned by foreigners, and they practice European prices everywhere on the beach(not only sleeping trees).
4.if you go to M'pai bay, just round the corner,, you have similar beach but a real tiny village, with big mama cooking on the beach for 2 dollars, children going to school, etc. If you search for a fake bubble, come here. If you want authentic, go to M'pai bay
