Close to the bus station, the beach is across the street, nice and friendly staff.

Wifi wasn't working well in the room, but it was ok outside where you can chill in the hammocks or in the restaurant.

Good value for money and great location.

Located in front of the beach and near grocery stores, restaurants and Muelle Turístico where you can take a boat to Tortuga Island. The staff was super nice and offered information about tours without any extra charge.

WiFi might be improved by using an antenna to extend the range

Very good

Comfy beds. Nice located next to the bus station. It's a restaurant and hotel together. You check in inside the restaurant. Owners are kind. Only Spanish speaking. You can have also a breakfast at the restaurant. Place around isn't nice. It's dirty there and stinking. Stay just one night there for the ferry.

Rooms smell too much chlorine. Just a little bit bad.

Convenient first night in Costa Rica to take the ferry.

Safe, near sea, hammocks good parking. good breakfast facilities.

Nice convenient beach to view sunset with good food

The restaurant was excellent & convenient. We had all our great meals there. They are friendly & helpful. The beach is right at the front for nice sunset view.

Budget place to stay in Puntarenas.

Location, price ( 25usd for double room with private bathroom), nice staff. Clean towel and bedsheet.

Not very clean. Room was small, dark with strong smell. Very loud A/C.

Very good

It was a clean room with a clean bathroom. The staff was very kind and helpful with questions. It is absolutely forth it when you consider the price.

The room was quite small and I don’t recommend staying for more than one night, because Puntarenas is not a beautiful place.

No answered customer service from Booking.com

location

No customer service oriented, rude, not following instructions, I ask to charge my credit card from my reservation and the person confused my wife asking her for the “payment” my wife call me and I speak with the young ignorant and rude lady and give her the instructions I how my card can be charge (I was a 15 years travel agent) the person hang up the phone on me. The breakfast ( included) was only three options but the difference was only 60 cents to have the breakfast the customer want. but the worst was when I try to contact Booking.com and have no response as of today, Booking.com Is the worst customer service with an automatic AI response expecting to fulfill a real customer service needs. and is not the first time we received a bad customer service experience with Booking.com so we decide is the last time we used the service of Booking.com

Close to Puntarenas centre. Good breakfast in the restaurant

No hot water. Not clear how to get into the hotel (you have to check in at the restaurant and the hotel is behind this but not clear if you don’t know this). Not the nicest area but good for stopping over for a night like we did. Rooms didn’t look like the photos.

Alejandro is the best

Very beautiful, exciting and cosy Hostel/Hotel. Alejandro was sooo nice! He prepare awesome cocktails and gives you a great time at the Aldea Pura Vida. The food was tasty, the rooms were clean and the location is - well, the pacific ocean is across the street, so - perfect.

The shower was a bit too cold for one of us.
