Corta estadía pero muy agradable!

Estuvimos sólo una noche y llegamos muy tarde. Nos estaba esperando una señora encantadora quien nos recibió y nos explicó todo a pesar de la hora. Al otro día a pesar de ser muy temprano nos dieron un desayuno riquísimo. El lugar es muy lindo, tranquilo y cómodo, con jardines en el centro, muy agradable, mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos.

Había poca presión en el agua de la ducha.

nieuw management is veel meer geïnteresseerd in klant, flexibele service zonder meerkost,

ik hoop dat het nieuwe management, de dochter van eigenaar, alsnog een compensatie kan uitkeren voor het personeel dat samen met de vorige manager (.?) moest vertrekken. de ligging viel niet tegen ik wist dat ze niet ideaal was maar objectief gezien is dit een minpunt, zeker als je single bent

Thank you to staff and new manager at Secrets

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Ready to help with any issues or questions I had about the guest house and the area. The food was exceptional, and I wish I could have this at home as well. Lyarnah, the new manager, the daughter of the original owners, has done an amazing job to raise the standards back to what they were with the owners; as well as providing wonderful experience for a single traveller that doesn't know the area well. Very informative with suggesting places and attractions around the country that I should visit.

I didn't like that my stay was only for a day. Next time I will book to stay a little longer.

Beautiful location with warm welcome

Angella was brilliant with all the communication before arrival and cooking, and Simon was brilliant with extensive knowledge humbly offered when there. They could not have been more helpful. It is a beautiful compound the kids enjoyed running around in. The up-front prices for the artwork they display on the walls, and the bird book for sale, we're very welcome. Thank you all.

The mosquito nets had holes so we used our own the first night. However, on telling Simon, the staff immediately offered to change their nets, which was great.

Clean, quiet home away from home guest house

The host and staff were very helpful and hospitable. I missed my flight which disorganised my stay dates. However, Angella ( the lovely host) re-booked everything for me, arranged an airport pick up for me at 415am We didn't leave the airport until 5am but I found my driver happily waiting for me. I was welcomed by a polite friendly gentleman and assisted me with my luggage to my room ( A whole chalet, 3 beds..lucky me)! There is freshly made tasty food everyday on request for lunch and dinner. My breakfast was a local speciality of matooke and fish. Very tasty! I loved the powerful hot shower especially after a long flight. The guest house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood ( just about 10-15 mins drive away from Entebbe town)one can enjoy a peaceful quiet sleep. It felt like home away from home. I would definitely return to stay.

Superb

The guest house has a beautiful garden and very spacious rooms. It was very clean. We were greeted by the manager when arriving that was quite late in the evening in a super friendly way. She also offered us some snacks because we could not have dinner due to our late flight. She was very nice and made us feel at home. Great place to stay in Entebbe!

We arrived late at night, and really enjoyed waking up to the beautiful garden view, kind staff/owner, and a hot pot

beautiful garden, great value, very kind/friendly staff. They arranged for an excellent driver who accommodated our large amount of luggage without any problems.

Perfect stay. The host went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and questions and was very kind to recommend and organize some tour ideas for our time in Entebbe. The room was very comfortable, spacious, quiet and well decorated. We absolutely recommend this place.

Good experience

Staying there is a continuing part of the African adventure - Velvet monkeys in the grounds and trees and bats in the evening (one found its way into the bedroom for a short period). Angella and Derrick are good hosts and its always a good relaxing stay with walks to Banga beach for a beer and beautifully cooked tilapia whilst watching the ferry and the local market if you don't want to stay in the Guest house grounds all the time.

some noise from local church group but nothing really disturbing.

The whole property was exceptionally clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They booked our drivers as well as our Covid tests for departure. The food was fantastic!

The location is hard to find, but our driver called and was given directions.

Lovely stay with lovely staff. Our preferred place to stay in Entebbe.

Very clean, super friendly and helpful staff and owner. Food was amazing. Rich and tasty breakfast, yummy dinners.

Some nearby church had a all night prayer going on during the 2nd night of our stay, blasting music and prayers like crazy. God must have hard them because we certainly did. Whole area was affected.

Secrets Guest House - Recommended.

The staff were excellent and the place peaceful and welcoming. I would recommend this as a place to stay. The food was very good too.

It's a hard place to find or at least, I found it difficult even with GPS. I couldn't see any signposts and feel that would help.

Amazing stay, Incredible food and incredible host.....so green all around

Amazing place 100%. The host is super nice. She is so helpful, friendly and the most amazing food was served....freshly cooked every meal and soooo tasty. She did every thing possible to make our stay the best we had in a very long time. Even got the pcr testing to be done in the chalet. I will highly recommend a stay at Secret

Very nice guesthouse, absulute friendly owner and stuff. Rooms with all you need, very clean, new and large moskito net and huge bathroom. Dinner was very tasteful, we ate here several times. Breakfast was delicious. The doctor comes for a necessary Covid-test. A perfect place to rest near the airport or a boat trip to see the shoebill.

The guest house was fantastic and I appreciated the location being outside of the city center. It is still in a convenient location, but waking up to birds chirping inside my personal bungalow was a breath of fresh air. Hot shower, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and reliable wifi. Staff were super helpful. I would stay here again.

The room met my expectations. It was clean and the beds are great! The breakfast was tasty and filling.

Anything that can keep the kids occupied could be introduced.
