Schönes Fachwerkhotel mitten in der Altstadt

Sehr schöne Lage in der Altstadt direkt an der Werrabrücke Urige Zimmer schönes Fachwerk und beeindruckende Eichenbalken, aber moderner Komfort wie ein Neubau. Sehr beeindruckend wie hier Saniert wurde ohne den Charakter des Fachwerkhauses zu beeinträchtigen. Sogar an einen Fahrstuhl wurde gedacht. Das Restaurant das sich ebenfalls in den Gebäuden befindest, ist ausgezeichnet. Man sollte rechtzeitig reservieren.

Außer das es Abends geregnet hat, gab es nix zu meckern.

Gutes Restaurant mit angebundenem Hotelbetrieb in altem Fachwerkgebäude

Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes altes Fachwerkhaus, liebevoll restauriert und modernisiert. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß für 2 Personen. Die Lage zentral und gleich neben einem Nebenarm der Werra gelegen. Das Frühstück war gut. Z.B. selbst gemachte Marmelade, gute Brötchen. Die freundliche Dame, die sehr viel über HannMünden zu berichten wusste, sorgte bis zum Ende der Frühstückszeit dafür, dass nichts fehlte. Das übrige Personal war auch freundlich, wirkte aber - wohl auch wegen der Tage zwischen den Jahren - ziemlich gestresst.

Im Zimmer fehlten unserer Ansicht nach einige Dinge. So gab es zum Beispiel keinen Spiegel an der Garderobe. Es waren nur je ein Sessel und ein Stuhl vorhanden und eigentlich hätten wir auch eine Flasche Wasser erwartet. Im Hotel selbst fehlte uns ein Bereich, in dem man sich aufhalten konnte, wenn man das Hotel nicht verlassen wollte. Der kleine Bereich im Erdgeschoss war vorrangig von den Gästen des gleichzeitig betriebenen Restaurants besetzt. Auch das Ende der Frühstückszeit um 10 Uhr fanden wir für eine Urlaubszeit zu früh.

Charmante Fachwerkhaus sehr gut renoviert mit grosses sehr sauberes Duschbad

Nettes Personal, Frühstück mit frisches Rührei auf Anfrage. Leider bei der reservierung gab es kein Einzelzimmer mit Doppelbett aber das Einzelbett war sehr bequem. während meiner Aufenthalt war leider das Hausrestaurant geschlossen: ich hätte es sonst gerne probiert

Hotel in Top Lage und mit viel Charme

Top Lage, mitten in der Altstadt. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

Durchs Badezimmer könnte mal ein Handwerker gehen. Viele Kleinigkeiten die repariert werden müssten ( Gummilitze an der Duschwand, Handtuchhalter fehlt, Abdeckung Lüftung fehlt, Seifenspender schief angebracht, Zahnputzbecher wäre gut gewesen). Ein Spiegel im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

Under the expectation.

Location in the old Town.

Problem with additional quantity of stairs after using the elevator, small footprint area and steep and uncomfortable stairs. Generally bothersome thresholds in the floor not acceptabke by invalid persons. Small parking area. Very noisy fan, burned out light bulb in bathroom. Sloped ceiling and a general lack of space in the hallway. No clear signage outside that this is an entrance to the hotel..

Superb hotel right in centre with private parking, very nice rooms with extremely comfortable beds, great breakfast &amp

Everything ! A very pleasant surprise. Wonderful rooms (especially no. 3), most comfortable hotel bed we have slept in for a while, all spic & span clean, smiley & friendly service, superb location right in centre with own private parking, fabulous breakfast (and dinner in hotel’s own Italian restaurant), and all at a very fair price. We will most definitely come again next time we are in the area!

Superb

The hotel is located right in the middle of town, which is very convenient. The staff were helpful and friendly (we missed a train and had to check in after the official window, which wasn't a problem), and the room was large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant, which I would STRONGLY recommend!

Good value, in the heart of Hann. Münden

Quality renovation of historic timber-framed houses in the old town center, facilities were adequate. Nice use of old furniture. Restaurant was reasonably good, and not expensive.

Awful artworks in the hallways, rather bare rooms devoid of decoration, lacking a personal touch. Some of the old furniture reused in the rooms could use some tlc.

Exceptional

We stayed in this hotel during our return journey from Austria, shortly before Germany closed the border due to Corona virus outbreak (COVIDS-19). In line with instructions from the Robert Koch Institute, we self isolated (as we could be carrying the virus). The staff at the hotel supported this by packaging and bringing meals (dinner and breakfast) to our room. All was done professionally, cheerfully and to a high standard. Given this was not a normal situation for the hotel, I admire their flexibility to react and adjust to these circumstances.
