House was fully equipped. Loved access to inlet for paddle boarding. The property and furnishings could be refreshed and updated. The cleanliness of water around dock was not ideal.

Very Clean and room enough to accommodate 6 adults. With directions given by owner very easy to locate. Loved the back screened porch with rockers and swing, we enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of the lake. Excellent property for the price.

Visiting family in SC this made it easy for everyone to have space and things to do without staying in one room hotel. We had a blast kayaking, swimming and fishing along with sharing old stories catching up in the swing and rocking chairs. Definitely a lot of memories made!

This charming, older house had some updates, making it a cozy and welcoming retreat. It felt like a quaint cottage, perfect for a second home getaway. Our stay was delightful, and we especially loved the private pier and dock where I could easily unload my bass boat.

Quintessential cabin with all the basic necessities located on a quiet and beautiful inlet. Karen was super accommodating and prompt with responses. The dock was perfect for my jet ski and having the boat ramp on the property was so convenient.

We stayed here when our son was graduating from USC. It was very clean, and perfect after a long day in Columbia to come back and sit on the porch to relax. We had 4 adults staying and it was very comfortable. Also, the host was super responsive and very kind and willing to be flexible. It was an easy 35-40 drive to campus. Thanks!

Lovely peaceful spot to gather with a few family members attending a wedding nearby. Fairly remote, but close enough to shopping and restaurants. Lots of birds.

It was so nice. Everything was like it said. The kids had a blast. We will be coming back. It’s nice because it’s close to things you might need and also right on the water. We really liked this place.

It’s a really cute place. It’s at the end of a cove and very peaceful. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. They had no issues with us having a later check out due to being in a wedding. The place is not new or fancy but very clean and I just felt like I was at home. They provide linens and have plenty of dishes to use. The neighborhood was very quiet. It’s not far to town or restaurants. I kept all my info because I will definitely stay again.

This cute older house was clean and had all the basics we needed for our short stay. We spent most of our time on the large screen porch, chilling in the rockers and eating meals at the outdoor table. The beds were comfortable, and the owners provided all of the linens! (sheets, bath and beach towels too!) We loved sunning on the pier! The house’s location is on a very pleasant small cove off what was a very quiet area of the lake. Thanks for the use of the surf chairs and kayaks! Karen responded to all of my inquiries and questions very promptly, and provided detailed directions to the house, preventing any confusion for our arrival. Overall, this house had all we needed for an enjoyable, relaxing time catching up. Thanks, Karen! We all agreed we would love to return when we are together again in the Columbia area.

Older house with a few oddities, but nothing too glaring. Clean and as advertised. The owner met us at checking to ensure we had what we needed (they live next door). The boat ramp is narrow and partially blocked by a bush, but we managed to get our boat in with a little bit of back and forth. The kitchen table is tiny, but we used the outdoor patio table as a dining room table. The ice machine didn’t work, but they left trays to manually freeze ice. These are all minor complaints, as it was an overall great stay.

If you are visiting Lake Murray, this is a great property to stay. There is a private boat ramp and your own boat dock on the property. Covered carport large enough to park your boat/boat trailer under. The cove this property sits in is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Home is older, but has been well taken care of and has everything you need. Karen, the owner, was extremely polite, accommodating, and responded quickly to messages. Can’t ask for much more than that. I highly recommend this property if you want a lake house on the water at Lake Murray, SC.

We needed a place to overnight with 2 of our grown sons and decided it would be fun to stay on the lake. The owner was very responsive to questions and requests, and this cute little cottage ended up being just right for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with tableware, pots and pans, baking dishes, coffee pots, and accessories. It was a bit cool so we didn’t get to use the large screened in porch, but it is perfect for sitting and relaxing or dining while looking at the lake. Our sons enjoyed using the fishing poles and fished from the dock and kayaks. It would be a great place for a family stay with the master bedroom at the opposite end of the house from the two smaller bedrooms as well as a door closing off that end of the house. The cottage is convenient to shopping, a gas station, restaurant, and bar. The decor is cute and comfortable with plenty of beach towels for enjoying the lake. We would stay again if in the area!

Beautiful lot on the water with a deck, floating dock, and boat ramp. Spacious rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice screened in porch in addition to a deck by the water. We brought our boat and enjoyed venturing out on the lake. Great communication with the host.

reNted for my three adult sons and their families to stay for my daughters wedding. It was convenient to the venue but the kids LOVED the many games, the ping pong table and the lake. A little rustic but perfect for families with children who want a retreat! Lots of extras like snacks and lots of fun games! Perfect for our needs!

I've never had a a better check-in process (good communication and even pictures of the turn-in to the driveway). Throughout the stay both owners were very helpful. Their cabin is older but very clean and everything is perfect for a lake getaway. The little landing has plenty of water to put in any boat. All in all one of the best vacation/short term properties I've ever rented. If you're not bougie and want a great place to relax, hurry up and book this cabin!

First off Ms Karen was super sweet, she greeted us at check in and gave us info about local dining and entertaining. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and she has everything. It’s very peaceful. The porch is an added bonus.. My daughter and her girlfriend enjoyed the kayaking and fishing as well. They swear there a huge fish out there that they both “let get away” lol. Thank you again for your hospitality… We hope to return….
