L'expérience unique du bonheur égyptien!✨

Tout le package de cette maison est un enchantement !!! La maison est merveilleuse, le confort qui y est présent est du plus agréable, la piscine est extra et un pur bonheur, les nuits sont bercées par une literie et une climatisation très confortable. La cerise sur le gâteau est tout le relationnel des personnes en relation avec cette maison. Les échanges avec Danielle sont très positifs, de même ceux avec Mohamed (sorte de régisseur de la maison et qui la suit depuis sa création) tout le staff d'entretien qui y agit durant le séjour est discret et aux petits soins pour satisfaire les occupants (organisation de visite, besoin d'être véhiculé, besoin de nourriture,...) Le détail qui fait de ce séjour un vrai régal s'appelle Ramadan!!! Cette personne qui agit en tant que housekeeper est une vraie pépite : a l'affût du moindre détail pour créer un effet Wahou personnalisé aux occupants, et ce avec du service, ou des serviettes... J'espère d'ailleurs qu'il a trouvé le message surprise à son attention dans la grande chambre 😉. La maison tranche avec le village où elle est implantée mais les habitants du village sont très attachants: l'un m'a fait visiter son étable, l'autre m'a invité chez lui à prendre le thé, les enfants sont très fiers d'utiliser les quelques mots d'anglais qu'ils connaissent: ils ont une grande richesse intérieur et un sens du partage qui nous remet sérieusement en question. En bref une aventure extraordinaire vécue dans cette maison qui a ajouté beaucoup de saveur à notre séjour égyptien.

J'ai tout apprécié dans ce paradis.

Life Changing

Our stay was amazing. The view of the Nile can't be beat. Our guide, unfortunately I forgot her name, was knowleadgable and kind. Ramadan was so kind and took care of me when I was sick. Mohammad was very helpful arranging everything we needed. We have never felt more taken care of in our lives.There is nothing I didn't like but it does take some getting used to being waited on hand and foot. We were a little skeptical about everything inluding the pricing at first, but quickly warmed up to everything. Also, it is a suggestion that you can hire a guide with the people who own the house, that is what you should do instead of getting one seperate from the house.

Exceptional

Excellent private villa in a quiet location 15 mins outside of Luxor with great views of the River Nile. We were all taken care of very well by the team headed up by Mohamed. He organised a private chef for us ( Ahmed ) who cooked breakfast and 2 evening meals. Everything was fresh, tasty & exactly how we liked it. Saba is a 24 hour staff member that stays in staff quarters away from the villa but always on hand if required. Ramadan carries out housekeeping & laundry if required and was great with the children including his wonderful towel decorations. The children couldn't wait to get home to see what sculpture he'd made for us! We would thoroughly recommend this villa for anyone. The price we paid and the service we received was excellent. The space the villa offers is so much more than a hotel. Would definitely return again. Thanks

Rural location far from Luxor city, beautiful villa, helpful staff on hand

Very beautiful villa, cool rooftop, nice looking pool which we weren’t able to use as it was too cold in February. Good staff present on the property to help out with issues like lack of towels, leaky sinks etc, Ramadan was especially very helpful and got lots of water bottles for us at 1am. Host was contactable and helpful.

Quite far from Luxor city so very limited transport options available other than that offered by the host, which were very expensive compared to local rates. The description included 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds but we only found one bedroom with 2 single beds so one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed which was uncomfortable. The host later said there was a second bed underneath the first that could be pulled out which we weren’t informed about at the time. Not suitable for travelling on a budget, but if you have the funds Mohamed will provide you with an excellent experience.

The best in Luxor

At the outset, I would like to thank the owner of the villa, Mrs. Dale, for communicating with us to make sure everything is excellent, as she contacted us while she is outside Egypt, as well as Mr. Mohamed, Brother Walid and Brother Saber, and I especially thank Mr. Mohamed, who was very sophisticated in dealing and clear in everything as he arranged tours explained. You have everything in fine details. I cannot describe the beauty of the villa in all its details. The rooms are very clean and the beauty of the view is simple. I liked the villa a lot. If I had another visit to Luxor, it would definitely be my favorite place.

Enjoy a truly awesome experience at an incredible facility.

We really enjoyed staying at the House of Hathor. Mohammed made our stay an awesome one. We enjoyed all the staff (especially Ramadan) who waited on us hand and foot. They were all delightful. Ramadan washed and ironed my wife's clothes for us. We went to see several important sites through Mohammed's booking our tours. We went to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Nefertari's Tomb, Hatshepsut's Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, rode the Balloon, and visited the Luxor Souq for two nights. We had a truly awesome time. Every trip was well organized. We were treated like royalty. I note the trips to the Souq as this is not common for a tour guide. Mohammed listened to what I wanted to do, told me what to expect, and complied with my request. Having shopped Souqs in India, China, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey, I thought that the Luxor Tourist Souq was great. We had to buy an extra suitcase to take our treasures back with us. Magda went with us on the formal trips as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. All of us enjoyed her. The bus and van were very nice. We had no problem getting Mohammed to take us to the grocery and/or ATM when needed. He was very, very prompt and always arrived on time. The trip prices were fair and reasonable. I will add that the entire team was respectful, honest, and accommodated our requests at all times. They are an incredible team. The facility is very, very nice and is very clean. The property is well maintained and has a well kept swimming pool. We were totally safe at all times. We also enjoyed the neighborhood village and the people we met. All six of us have nothing but good to say about the experience. I generally judge a site based on whether I would go back to it. We will visit the House of Hathor when we return to Luxor. This is a well run and well maintained property. We all enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching the Nile go by.

We loved everything. This is Egypt at its best.

A marvelous oasis in Luxor!

Hathor house was the cherry of our marvelous Egypt trip. We were 4 adults 3 kids and the house was perfect for all ages.. the pools were amazing we all have so much fun there. The house has a great design and style, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the beds everything was new, modern, clean and comfortable. Is the perfect oasis to relax and enjoy after many days doing intensive sightseeing around the country. The staff is awesome, Ramada, Wely and Saba were always very helpful and attentive and Oscar was a great host. We really recommend this beautiful house.

Privacy and Luxury

This review is not solicitated, it is my own. I did not know the host before. Here goes: The absolute PERFECT getaway. You will not find a better place in Luxor. Tastefully decorated. Quality construction, first class bathrooms, great kitchen. I read some negative reviews and it surprises me. Danielle is a caring host and Mohamed and crew do their best. Ice cold air conditioning throughout, a sparkling clean pool. Comfortable beds and really nice decor touches everywhere. If you enjoy old world elegance and great service, don't look further. The House of Hathor should be your destination.

Great experience

When we first walked through the entrance we did not expect to see what we saw, it was simply beautiful starting from the landscape to the exterior and interior of the house it self, as if we where disconnected from the outside. Our family of 5 enjoyed every single moment in the house we only stayed 4 days but it felt like home. The house is very clean and will maintained, you can see how much the details are cared for just to insure our comfort along with the daily checking's from the house keeper.
