We had a great stay at The Nest. Supplied well with everything you need. Beautiful view! Quick response from property manager with a question. Our family of 10 ranging had a wonderful time with plenty of space for our family to hang out. Beds were comfortable. Thank you!

Property was beautiful and spacious. Property manager was very prompt to respond to our questions and very helpful. We stayed during winter holidays so we did not get to make use of the outdoor activities, but the whole family enjoyed our stay.

This was a great location for the 2 families we were connecting due to thier childhood cancer diagnosis. There was enough individual spaces they could be alone and great spaces for connecting. Thank you for sharing!

I had a wonderful stay. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed and then some. The freezer was a nice surprise. The private beach was a big hit with all the guests. We took full advantage of the many outdoor spaces. The gas grill made grilling easy.

Our extended family loved this property. We have stayed in several VRBO's in Southern Illinois, and this by far has been the best one. The kitchen was well stocked. Having beach toys and beach towels, as well as adult outside games was an extra bonus. We LOVED this property, the property managers were accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely be back.

House extremely well stocked. We loved the lake and the beach. Our guys caught lots of fish and so did the kids. The decks are fantastic and we all wanted to be on the swinging beds. Great vacation had by all!

This is our third year to stay at The Nest. It has gotten better each year! Lots of extras for all our age groups-lots of indoor and outdoor toys for all our kids, plenty of space, beds, and kitchen amenities. We love it there!

The home provided more than amble seating for dinning and relaxing both inside and out. The description of the home was very accurate to what the home provided. We were able to rent a boat through Stay N Awake rentals that allowed us a boat to be docked at the house all week and was well worth it. We would highly recommend the Nest for any large family gathering.

This property has it all for large family reunions. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen in a rental. There are games galore and plentiful seating. The rental agent was super accommodating and quick to respond. What a perfect setting for large groups!

We were very happy with our stay here! Crystal quickly responded to each question I had during our visit. We loved all of the gathering spaces - for shared meals and outside group meetings. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfy. Lots of seating around the fire pit and lovely hammocks. We saw amazing birds and even shooting stars! We would highly recommend it.

Our family rented this beautiful home for a family vacation to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday. We loved having our own private beach and enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The water temperature is perfect, it is not too cold and not too hot. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. We played endless outdoor games during the day under the fans located on the ceiling of the deck. We ate every meal but one at the house. The house is well stocked and clean. Great trip, I would recommend highly.

The property was beautiful! Every need we had was fulfilled. So easy with check in. Loved the basement area for our kids (ages 8-15). The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, flatware, top quality pots & pans, crock pots, even a margarita machine! So much beautiful outside seating, and the deck swings made from twin beds were awesome (a couple people are stealing this idea), huge BBQ grill. We had a boat and everyone had so much fun tubing & skiing. The bedrooms were very all very nice. Linens were top quality. The kids in basement did complain that the bunk beds squeaked if someone moved around on them. Thank you!

For the location bugs weren’t bad. Not even a bite on me and I get bit all the time. Rented a pontoon and went tubing on a nice lake with hardly any traffic. You can do what you want. Stop the boat and anchor and jump in the water! The beach at the property is very nice and we spent hours just floating in the cove. Water temp is very warm. At least 82. I hate cold water and had no issue with this. ( I keep my pool at 87 at home). Great grill and fire pit. Lots of dishes, cookware, etc. Great baths and showers. Never ran out of hot water. Lots of ceiling fans which are great for temperature regulation. Kick butt central air. The only slight negative is the internet connection. I didn’t have too much of an issue as I made a point to not work! If you are heavy streaming or downloading large files you will probably be frustrated. If you are checking emails and streaming some YouTube you should be fine. I was. Techies may complain. Cell reception is good so that is an option. Greenville is a nice town with everything you may forget. Some interesting sites. Lots of cornfields! Staff is very responsive to any questions.

We had a great time at the Nest. Everything we needed was there for us from the oldest to the youngest. Thank you for providing a really family friendly home for our reunion!

We had a total of 4 families, 3 of my kids with their families. Ages 6months and up. There was plenty of room for everyone! Extremely well stocked. So quiet and peaceful! Beach front was beautiful! Everyone had a great time. Planning on returning next year! Property manager easy to get a hold of.

We wanted a place to just get away and be together. We got there - we NEVER left! (Except to be on the water!) We rented a boating package - which was GREAT! And then we just enjoyed. The little surprises tucked in the house were fun - from the hot chocolate machine to the choices of where to eat our meals! Had to call with a couple of little questions and got Crystal immediately with complete answers. The beach is literally right there! The cove was private, and we could watch the kids from the yard or the deck. Fishing was fun for the kids. Hammocks... fire pit ... the only thing the big boys thought was missing was a basketball hoop - but they made up their own game and on we went! The house is older - but the updating and upgrading were great!!! Nothing "old" about the place. Daughter-in-law LOVED two sets of laundry -- oh, and having communal beach towels!~ who does that?---THIS PLACE! It was GREAT! No sorting, no worries -- grab and go. Did I mention little stools in every bathroom for the littles, booster seats, baby bed .... they have tried to think of everything -- and I think they succeeded. THANK YOU FOR A FABULOUS WEEKEND!
