Ottima posizione a pochi minuti dal Monastero di Tatev, e vicino ad un punto panoramico. Staff gentilissimo, camera spaziosa e pulita, colazione ottima e abbondante, possibilitá di usufruire anche di un ottima cena, camera di recente costruzione.

La piccola stufetta elettrica non riscalda la camera, ma sono fornite delle belle coperte per ripararsi dal freddo.

Good stay at Tatev

Very calm and quiet place. Very warm hosts. Clean facility. Breakfast was served at the terrace with a nice view and fresh fruit, eggs and legumes from the garden.

What I appreciated most was the superb internet connection!

According to the information on Booking the guesthouse is situated near the main road but that is the location of their restaurant. The guesthouse is in fact in the village and only reachable by quite steep dirt roads. For me, riding a heavy motorbike, this was an unexpected challenge. If I had known that before, I am not sure I would have booked Saro's guesthouse. One other point: the room was spacious enough but filled with a double bed, a single bed and a big chair. So not much space left. There was no wardrobe in the room, not even a hook to hang my clothes. Toilet and shower were downstairs.

This is quite an outstanding place overlook fabulous mountain scenery all around. Guest house in the middle of a small village and inside a big typical Armenian garden. Delicious dinner and breakfast provided daily....

Quiet, comfortable room and a very welcoming and helpful family made our stay ideal.

Were made very welcome and our room was lovely. The wifi wasn't the best, which was more of an issue for the teenager I was travelling with than myself. Good breakfast and the family were very helpful.

Hearty host, comfy rooms and delicious local breakfast

Saro is excellent host - always positive and smiling though we have always found her bloody busy! Rooms are clean and beds were comfy. The food in her restaurant & breakfast in the morning were stunning!

This review is very hard for me to write as the whole Tatev town is very controversial for the tourist from “west” point of view. To be honest the location was shocking for us and when we saw the area we considered cancel the booking and move elsewhere. The Tatev town does not have paved roads and majority of buildings look like slums. When we found the B&B place and saw our room we changed our mind - as you can see the positive part of review. I think this will help future visitors to stay calm and enjoy the accommodation without unnecessary stress - give it a chance and you will not regret! :-)

I loved everything about this place! The staff is absolutely amazing, very helpful, welcoming and caring. We felt cozy and, oh boy, the food! I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Saro B&B!

Nice place to stay for a night

Nice Place to stay for a night, and very friendly staff who went above and beyond. Nice dinner at the restaurant too, with vegetarian options available. Also great home made wine!

There was only one plug in the bedroom, which made it tricky to charge our phones. Also the Wi-Fi was not working.

Amazing place to stay in Tatev with kind hosts

We had booked another room but the host offered another one in the place where they haму a restaurant. We had a room with a view of Tatev monastery! The best location you can imagine Especially in the morning when you wake up with nature and monastery. As well they cook very good food even if you eat only heatly food without meat, eggs, bread from white floor. We got some vegetables, greens, some fruits and porridge! Althout we had to wait for 40min to get our simple dinner. Very kind and hospitable hosts!

If you have options to choose, choose the option near the restaurant!
