About this cabin rental

'Peaceful Valley Lake & Cabins'
Attention: Nature lovers, or someone who just wants to escape for a few days of peace and quiet. Come and stay in our cozy cabin, better known as, "Tree Top Cabin", overlooking the beautiful catch-and-release lake fully stocked with a variety of fish.
The cabin is surrounded by woods and offers two decks to enjoy the view from. You can sit and listen to the birds, or watch the squirrels jump from tree to tree. Enjoy a hike along the creek thru the woods, or just relax with a fishing pole while floating along in our two person fishing boat (at no extra charge).
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There is a washer/dryer and bathroom with all the necessary linens needed to make
your stay more comfortable. There is also a gas grill on the top deck, so you can enjoy the view of the lake while grilling your favorite foods. The cabin and lake are located out in the country, yet are only minutes from town. With Lake Cumberland and marinas only minutes away, what more could a person ask for? We do not permit "parties."
Peaceful Valley is just that...... Peaceful... Our property is geared to quiet, restful, family relaxation. We do not permit hosting "parties".

We really enjoyed our stay. This property was perfect in every way…cozy, clean, beautiful scenery, extremely peaceful with great fishing. The area landscape and local towns are some of Kentuckys finest. The owners were some of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay at your cabin. My husband, myself, our 3 boys and my father in law stayed here for the weekend. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was like a home away from home, was very clean and had all necessities you could possibly need. We were extremely happy with our stay and the owners were helpful and very friendly. They definitely make sure there guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. We also caught lots of fish from the lake. The game tables down stairs were a nice touch after fishing all day.

Our 3-night visit at the end of March was excellent. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The property is beautiful! Owners were very attentive to our questions. This is a great get away for a restful vacation. We are already planning a fall visit.

From the moment I booked until checkout, communication was excellent! They were always quick with a response to any question or need. The property is amazing. Although it’s just minutes from town, it feels like you are hidden far away. The lake and creek are beautiful. I enjoyed morning walks around the property. The cabin has everything that you could need for cooking, laundry, relaxing, and entertainment. We cooked most of our meals on the blackstone grill. We can’t wait to return!

From the moment we booked to the moment we left we didn’t have any complaints. Mr. Timmy greeted us not long upon arrival to make sure everything was in order snd we didn’t need anything. The cabin was so clean and perfect for the four of us. We did get use out of the basement too watching movies and hanging out some there. The view was amazing and the guys got to fish. It was the perfect place to relax for our long weekend. We like to stay in different places like this, but this place was easily a step above others. We definitely plan to return to this beautiful place! Thank you Rose and Timmy, you and your place is amazing!

To sum up this trip...relaxing! Rose and Timmy were fantastic. The cabin is wonderful and the setting is even better. I surprised my husband with a belated anniversary trip to fish. This cabin was perfect because it wasn't too far from home and it included a boat. He loved the surprise and has already requested the same trip for his birthday. If you need an "unplugged" trip away from it all, this is perfect!

Place was wonderful!! Cabin had all we needed. It was absolutely beautiful with our own dock and 2 person boat to ride around or fish. Timmie was a wonderful host who sat with us on the covered deck and thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. He even brought us a bucket full of items from his garden which we fixed and ate the next night for dinner. We will be coming back!!!!

Beautiful property! The cabin was perfect and set up for us. Perfect for fishing. Caught lots of catfish, bass, and blue hill. Hosts were amazing and so friendly. And the town with restaurants and grocery stores is only a 15 min drive away. Definitely will be back again!

Family and I needed a weekend getaway and this place was perfect. The Tree Top cabin was clean and spacious. The hosts were very friendly and responsive (they made some awesome cup cakes for us!). The lake was fun to fish, caught several bass and bluegill. Would definitely rent again!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for our anniversary. It was definitely what we needed. The house was fantastic. Everything you could possibly need was given. The boat was a little tricky for us to use, but there are so many things to do there. Delicious brownies were made for us and meeting Timmy was pleasant. There were zero complaints :)

We had a great stay. The place exceeded our expectations and Mr Tim and Mrs Rose were exceptional host. The place cabin was immaculate and the property was meticulously manicured. The pond is well stocked and provided hours of entertainment for everyone in our party. We were 20 minutes away from prime fishing in Lake Cumberland. If you stay here to fish Lake Cumberland I would suggest using Pleasant Hill landing. It is a public launch on Lily creek and you don't have the hustle and bustle of the big marinas. I would highly recommend this property.

Love this wonderful place! Timmy and Rose were very accommodating and all the reviews I read on here were so very true. Clean cabins, good fishing, clean lake, beautiful property and a good place to relax and unwind. Lake Cumberland is not far away if you chose to go check that area out as well. We already booked again for next year and are counting down the days!! Thanks Timmy and Rose for sharing your peaceful home tucked away in the woods on a beautiful lake.

The tree tops cabin was absolutely beautiful with nice stocked lake and free boat to fish out of. Timmy and Rose the owners are absolutely wonderful people. Ive stayed in alot of places but never had this kinda of exceptional sevice. Id give this place 6 stars but they only let you give 5. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great retreat with exceptional service.

This cabin was everything we were hoping for and then some! We stayed at the cabin for a small weekend trip with friends and had so much fun playing games on the back porch, fishing on the pond, sitting by the fire and just spending quality time together. The views are absolulty breathtaking and the entire cabin is beautiful and stocked with everything you could need! It is just a short trip into town for groceries and about a 25 minute drive to Lake Cumberland so we really enjoyed being away from everything but not too far from everything as well! We can’t wait to come back again for another visit! Thank you for everything Timmy and Rose you guys have an amazing place and took such good care of us! :)
