Bon emplacement, personnel décevant

L’emplacement avec un beau rooftop et une vue magnifique sur Rio de Janeiro. Les chambres avec vue sur le pain de sucre sont superbes.

Le personnel à la réception n’était pas accueillant ni franchement compétent . On nous a dit que l’on aurai dû quitter notre chambre à 12h alors que nous avons payé pour un late check out à 16h. Le petit déjeuner jusqu’à 10h seulement un peu trop tôt. Bar du rooftop en travaux.

The best hotel stay ever. Loved this trip. Bedroom, bathroom was exceptional with amazing views. Breakfast and breakfast staff were incredible. The best vegan breakfast.

Coolest hotel in Rio

Coolest hotel in Rio with a fantastic rooftop with a great view of the SugarLoaf , Fernanda at the reception was fantastic! And waitress on the morning shift @ rooftop bar also very nice and well educated

Conforto e linda vista.

Destaque para o café da manhã, boas opções e bem gostoso. Localização muito boa, facil de ir para muitos lugares na cidade de carro ou transporte público. Cama bem confortável, banheiro bom com ammenities bons também. A vista no hotel no bar da cobertura é linda.

O hotel é muito bom, mas o preço é alto pela entrega.

Os funcionários do café são muito atenciosos. As instalações são bonitas e a cama confortável. Itens de higiene muito bons.

Até agora, não entendi a diferença do preço para o Booking, mesmo com a taxa de 10%. As pessoas da recepção explicam quase nada na entrada. Numa cidade como o Rio e no verão, o ar condicionado ser fraco chega a ser meio absurdo e a noite foi desconfortável por isso. O som alto da música do corredor e a fila de pessoas na frente do elevador que não são hóspedes (e que estão esperando um Uber) te faz questionar às vezes se de fato é um lugar para descansar. Já me hospedei antes e infelizmente não consigo dar a mesma nota.

I do not recommend it and I warn you !!! We made hotel reservations for 3 days via booking.com. We arrived at the hotel late at night very tired. The front desk charged the full amount of the reservation (over $500) to my Visa card upon entry. We couldn't assess the situation in the room immediately after entering. In the morning it turned out that the duvet under which we slept was covered only with two sheets and not a full duvet cover. We saw that we had slept under a dirty, smelly rag stained in many places, probably with blood and urine. Original photos. Additionally, we were bitten by lice or fleas that jumped around the room. I am attaching photos of the bitten legs. The hotel corridor smelled strongly of urine. In the morning we went to the reception to file a complaint. We were offered a room upgrade (the same room only with a sea view), without the possibility of viewing it in advance. Our offer to reduce the room rate was not accepted. The entire negotiation took us 3 hours. The staff hardly speaks English. Due to the whole situation, we decided to immediately change our place of stay, but unfortunately the hotel staff refused to refund us the fee for the next two nights. We hope that they will change their mind after booking.com's intervention.

Exceptional

The rooftop and the view was gorgeous. It was definitely the highlight of the hotel. They also had a DJ once and it made the environment really fun. I have to mention the breakfast; it was delicious and with lots of variety. The staff working at breakfast was specially very kind. There was a man who kindly remembered that I taken ice in a cup to make my own iced coffee and the next morning, he brought it for me without me asking for it. It made my morning! I would say it’s in the details that it influences your positive experience.

great location and amazing staff - so friendly and accommodating. very nice roof top bar and views of both Sugar loaf and Christ the Redeemer specific thank you and amazing shout out to Gabrielle from the front desk who really looked after us and made us feel extremely special guests when we arrived early from long flight to evening drinks, information on getting around and just being so helpful and friendly! really made us feel so welcome to Rio!! amazing and please tell him how amazing he was!

Beautiful roof terrace with views across the bay to sugar loaf. Good pool here and lovely cafe/ bar area. Bed was comfortable, decent shower

It was described as a five star hotel but it was not. It is like a regular 3 star guest house. No lobby, small room, no meeting place, poor entering gate and no enough amenities.

It was OK for one night.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and arranged transport from the airport to the hotel at the last minute. Staff in general were very friendly.

After making the reservation I received an email almost every day asking me to upgrade my room. I made one upgrade and still kept receiving upgrade requests. The upgraded room was very small and inconvenient with no view to speak of. Breakfast was mediocre and served downstairs rather than at the most beautiful part of the hotel which is the rooftop.

Communication in advance of visit terrible/and obviously on arrival none of the discussions passed on Staff lovely but at time vague asked for restaurant suggestion/would they book - then never heard again/constant problems with door access which apparently also stopped cleaning taking place! But management had no idea Food offer very disappointing
