All the bugs in the room

The staff were friendly but didn't seem to have much of a clue.

There is a serious insect problem with the hotel.Woke up in the morning to find baby cockroaches everywhere inc in the bed.The building itself is very shoddily made.

I love it, perfect for us, but not for everyone! There are 80 steep stairs to climb and no hot water. But I'm fit and don't need hot hot water. The staff are so kind and friendly, really took great care of us.

Like I said, it's a steep climb. But the view from the pool deck... AMAZING

The room was great. Super spacious. The hotel is already pretty nice, and they're actually finishing up a remodel. One of the employees, Elian (who was amazing BTW. He went above and beyond) was showing us all the improvements they're working on. It's gonna be really nice. I would definitely Stay there again.

There were a lot of little black flies in the room. The floor under the bed was dirty and there was a random piece of wood laying around. Decoration came from the wall and fell in my bed. The room got incredibly hot when there was a power outage. There were no towels and it wasn't clear who to adress because there is no reception area. I wanted to go for a drink and food in the restaurant but nobody took my order.

The manager was nice and helpful. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to the circumstances the hotel is in.

There is a huge insect problem. We had flies, ants, caterpillars, centipedes, and all sorts of insects in our room and in the hallways. The showers are not up to standard and the rooms are outdated and have poor lighting. The fences of the balcony are broken.

No positives to our experience.

I had a very negative experience. We couldn't reach the property by car because it is up a dirt road that the taxi couldn't drive up. So we had to walk with our luggage. When we arrived at 3:15 pm, check-in is at 3 pm, and we were told the room was not ready and that we needed to wait an hour. We did and the room was still not ready. We were told it would be 5 more minutes. After waiting not 5, but 30 more minutes we asked to see the room that still was not ready. It appears the hotel is doing a remodel and there is a large block of rooms still under major construction. There is dust everywhere, piles of mattresses, tools, furniture, etc strewn about. They were suggesting we stay in one of these rooms in the middle of all the remodeling chaos and construction noise (drilling, hammers, demo). The room they showed us was not finished and was uninhabitable. When we asked for a refund they said we must speak to Booking.com. Booking.com's customer service said we had to speak with the hotel, so currently, we have not been compensated and we did not stay at the hotel. We just had to turn around and get a taxi home and have our weekend ruined. I believe the hotel is attempting to add additional room capacity but hasn't finished the construction project and was overbooked. There were other couples waiting to check in with the same issues and they also left.

the facilities are ok. the pool is as seen in the photos, as well as the rooms. but the entrance is not nice and is 20 minutes walk away from the beach, in not a nice neighborhood

the place have amazing view of Taganga. it’s a quiet place with cool roof and the wind there is amazing. the room was very big and the porch was so cool and fun. Michal the owner is amazing man and helped us a lot! his wife make every morning for us good breakfast. they are both amazing people. thank you!

the pool not that clean. the place location is up on the hill. it is a little bit dangerous to walk that area at the nights (you can get Robb ) but it can happen in all Taganga. we got robbed there. but Michal helped us

This place jumped out when we were searching for somewhere to stay, but we weren't too sure reading the reviews about the walk up the hill/steps. We are glad we took the risk, the walk not half as dramatic as some have made out if you are of reasonable fitness. The room was fresh and modern, a huge bed with crisp white sheets and a balcony overlooking the village and the perfect spot for watching the sunset with a beer. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, lots of fruit and coffee, one of the better breakfasts we had along the Colombian coastline. The WiFi in the room was excellent. The staff were super friendly and they also offed a laundry service if required.

They need to invest in a few more mugs at breakfast to replace the existing chipped ones. No Wi-fi by the pool but its great in the room so not a huge issue

The walk from the beach and the stairs up to the property are a mild annoyance however the view and tranquility of the hotel are worth it.

The manager Maykar, and his wife Jasnery, were fantastic, really relaxed and hospitable. The pool area was great, and the breakfast nice. I had the deluxe room and feel it was worth paying a little bit extra, as it was in better repair than the other rooms.

it’s a bit of a trek up that hill to reach the property, but not only are you rewarded with a better view, it gets quieter, which is fortunate, because by the beach etc it is very noisy.

Everything is just as the name suggests, you go here to relax. Breakfast is good, they have lots of restaurants for you to pick from in case tou want to stay in your rooms for eating. The staff is SUPER friendly and devoted. This is our go to place as a couple😊

The pool still needs a bit of help, but it was okay to swim in. Other than that, everything was good 😊

- Pool didn’t looked attractive to swim; - Hotel seemed a bit outdated and pool facilities where not as depicted - No communication possible prior to arrival - No cleaning of the room during our 3 night stay.

Quiet. A/C worked well.

It is quite basic. I would expect more from the price and from the photos.
