Great few days , highly recommend the Broomes

Great location, easy walk in to the harbor area

Parking in the road outside was a bit tricky due to limited spaces, but this is the same where ever you go in Whitstable

Great location, very well equipped. So cosy, and warm.

Needs a bigger TV in the living room!

Highly recommend this flat- it’ a great location close to all the shops, restaurants and the beach.

Great location and wonderful hosts

We were lucky with the parking but might be more of a challenge in the summer. That’s the only reason we didn’t give it 10 out of 10

Exceptional

Cosy flat, very clean, everything you needed, nice welcome pack of cake and wine! Nice bath and shower, well equipped kitchen, nice neighbour next door.

A bit of walk to the shops, when you haven't got a car.other than that it was fine.

Comfortable and great location

Convenient location close to the castle, great for exploring Whitstable and Tankerton slopes. Property was a home from home, with the lovely touch from the hosts of cake and wine!

Excellent large clean apartment for a very good price. Would definitely stay again.

Welcome bottle of wine and cake. large clean and comfortable apartment with separate private lounge and kitchen. Washing machine in fully equipped kitchen. Centrally controlled heating. comfortable bed. Parking may be an issue but we were able to get a park out front on each of our 4 night stay. Great central location for a very good price.

shower head was a little difficult to manage.

Exceptional

We were very pleased prior to arrival receiving a message from Dave to let us know that the accommodation was ready for us early. When we got there we found a lovely note, a gorgeous cake and a bottle of wine. The flat was very clean with a great deal of attention to detail.

Fabulous accommodation, great location!

Great location, just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy Whitstable and all that is on offer, within a few minute's walk. A fabulous long weekend away, enough time to visit favourite restaurants, stroll along the beach take a dip, and peruse the shops. Dave and Sue have created a fabulous place to stay, the kitchen is well-equipped and has a dining table, the bed is really comfy - we slept very well, and the living room is very comfortable - ideal for relaxing after a day of walking around Whitstable! Thank you very much for the bottle of wine and homemade cake - both were very much appreciated ;)

every little detail covered good communication cosy & comfy

Those that have mobility problems note the stairs inside are steep & winding, you are likely to have to park 2 mins walk away. Although the road is well-used, it is not too noisy.

Location was convenient for all amenities.

Update instructions on how to operate the TV. Older adults may find it difficult to handle existing menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed accommodation + 'visits' into town; good variety of places to eat & drink

Property is very well presented, homely and comfortable; well equipped; Location of property is very good; short walk and easy to access town and amenities; Sourcing free on-road parking near property is more of a challenge if you do not wish to move the car during the day; suspect during 'peak' holiday times it would be even more difficult. Arrival treats much appreciated and nice touch; + texts from owners checking everything was ok.

Air fresheners a bit 'strong' for my wife; she is mildy asthmatic;

Highly recommended and great value

Felt really welcoming and homely on entering the apartment. Welcome pack including a delicious home made fruit cake was very much appreciated. Great location 2 mins from seafront, 5 from harbour and 10 from high street. Nice DVD selection - mostly chick flicks but a few for the men! Whitstable is a great destination.

Being picky, bed was a bit narrow compared to what we're used to, but comfortable matress. Towels could do with being a little bigger too. Dont let this put you off though - for the price paid this apartment represents fantastic value for money.

A perfect couple’s retreat whether you are staying in or going out! comfy, warm and suitably equipped. our hosts were ve

perfectly situated for access to the show and bars and a wedding we were attending. also a stones throw from the beach! it was warm and had everything we could possibly need.

it could benefit from a dishwasher, and maybe some cooking basics - oil, salt, pepper etc.

Well situated property close to the town for shops and also for walks along the sea front.

Not always able to park on the road on which the property is situated.

Lovely apartment.

Lovely apartment very well fitted out. Light, clean and airy, and surprisingly spacious. Wonderful welcome pack of wine, beverages, cake and fresh Roses. Kitchen so well equipped even the husband managed to cook. We always came back to a very warm flat, with plenty of hot water. Dave and Sue only a phone call away. Would go back.

Dont be put off by the outside and inner hallway.
