Fine for a business trip, limited meal options for dinner nearby and breakfast needs work

Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable (great to have a soft & firm option on the pillows).

Breakfast was poor - a small selection of food to start with was decimated by 7.30am and not replaced (no bread for example) and no staff around to ask for more.

We were quite disappointed with our recent experience. Despite confirming a booking for a twin bed on the booking website, we were informed upon check-in that this was only subject to availability. As a result, we had to book an additional room, which was both inconvenient and unexpected. This experience has left us quite dissatisfied, and we are unlikely to choose this service again.

Overall this was good value for money and I would probably book again.

Breakfast included with the room was very good value. Parking was easy, and the location meant that we could walk to Macquarie Centre for a meal.

The weird glass bathroom that lacked a proper door was a bit off-putting, especially since I was traveling with my son, not my husband.

It’s everything you come to expect from. Holiday Inn. Clean, reliable and close to amenities. We enjoyed our stay!

If you know what you are getting and we’ll researched, then there’s nothing you can complain about!

Ok but overpriced

Staff were lovely...especially the Irish chef. Funny guy!

I requested twin beds as I was sharing with my son but they gave us a queen bed and couldn't change it on the first night. However they did change it for the 2nd night. The facilities were basic and the hotel was very expensive considering (but inflated prices due to Taylor Swift concerts).

Perfect, modern and comfortable accommodation for a family weekend away.

Location, access to public transport, shopping close by, modern and clean rooms, very comfy and quiet

I went to use the gym once but my card couldn’t access the room. They were very busy at reception when I went to report it so didn’t worry about getting it rectified

Comfortable and convenient accommodation with the bonus of free breakfast.

The free breakfast was quite good. We were able to check in a little early which was greatly appreciated.

No on-site parking available when we arrived. We parked in the street with no issues.

Overall disappointed.

The room was clean, dark and quiet to sleep in.

I paid for parking and couldn't get a spot when we first arrived, we were told that others who haven't paid park there as well. The breakfast was awful, on my booking I said gluten free and there were no options available, I had to ask someone to at least get a bowl of cereal, the milk was not Soy milk so I couldn't eat anything except for an orange - I paid for breakfast and couldn't have any. My husband said the eggs were watery and the sausages were unappetising.

Bed was uncomfortable. No top sheet was odd. Room heating wouldn't go above 21 degrees. It was cold in the room and didn't warm up.

Comfortable and modern rooms; quiet location with great access to city centre

Affordable place in the city. Area is very quiet and calm, away from the noisy parts of the city and busy roads. Has nearby tram and train station for commute. Big shopping centre right next door which was convenient.
