Exceptional

Loved all the little extras supplied The bikes were fabulous too. First time on an electric bike and I felt comfortable after receiving some careful instruction, thanks.

A pleasant place to put ones head.

breakfast was fine. Adequate supplies and appreciated the ground coffee. Crumpet were a nice touch.

the heating unit was quite noisy. But not much you can do about that i imagine.

A beautiful cottage in great location.

Quiet location. Spa and sauna for private use. Pretty garden outlook. Excellent and plentiful breakfast provisions and sparkling wine/ chocolates were greatly appreciated. Friendly owners and available by phone when they couldn’t be there. Provided some undercover parking for our motorbikes which was great on the rainy day.

It was very hard to heat up the cottage with only a split system air conditioner with high ceilings, stone walls and cold tiles on floor in living area. However a small portable heater was available which helped. No TV in bedroom area.

Overall our stay was excellent and we plan to return

There were many things to like - heater on when we arrived; a bottle of bubbles!; very good breakfast supplies including bread from the famous Apex Bakery; undercover parking very close; great location; very helpful and genial hosts.

Bed mattress was old tired and sagged in the middle badly. Pillows were thin with no support for neck/head. Deluxe Furnishings dated and tired.

The breakfast was great - very substantial. The pool was extremely enjoyable - lovely garden setting and very clean. The cottage was very comfortable and easily accessed.

Perfect home base for our 4 days in the Barossa Valley

Lovely host, garden and cottage with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of breakfast supplies and Cynthia happily topped up the spreads when we had used what was there. We only got to use the bikes for a short ride as it rained constantly but great they were included!

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

cottage had character and was spacious inside. Breakfast provisions were very generous and provided good range . Very quiet yet short drive to shoos, wineries etc

Relaxing, comfortable getaway. Perfectly located to make the most of the beautiful Barossa.

Breakfast provisons were terriffic. Spoilt for choice with cereals, spreads, juice and wonderful fresh bread. Full suite of cooking facilites so could choose to either cook, eat out or bring back take away. WiFi was reliable and fast. The spa and electric bikes are a must do, so much fun and a great way to get out and see the area.

Quiet retreat in barossa centre

Everything was to make the stay a special retreat. The extra touches of chocolates, biscuits for morning tea, and such a wide selection of breakfast choices was amazing. Being on the edge of town made it very quiet and the mini bar ment we didnt need to go into town centre for a snack. Very nice stay and the bed was comfy.

Beautiful homely cottage that serves the perfect base to explore the Barossa Valley

Amazing location, good value, hospitable and attentive hosts (including a thoughtful delivery of hot cross buns and Easter eggs for Easter). We stayed in the Hoffman cottage (one of four) and it was the perfect base to explore the Barossa. Each of the cottages looked fairly similar so I don't think it matters too much which one you stay in. Bikes and spa were an added bonus which we utilised. Laundry was convenient for washing/ironing. The facilities in the cottage included extra blankets and pillows, plenty of towels, thoughtful breakfast supplies, a small functional kitchen with all the basics. Check in and check out were absolutely seamless.

Slightly dated but in my opinion adds to the homely charm. TV'S had DVD players but were not smart TV'S so if you wanted to be able to stream, you would need your laptop/devices. Or just bring or borrow one of the provided books!

Lovely cottage, pretty gardens and great location!

The cottage was roomy and comfortable and there were lots of little touches (including fresh milk, chocolates, fruit and a bottle of champagne) that made us feel very welcome. I would love to sqtay at Langmeil Cottages next time we are in the Barossa.

Nothing to dislike. the setting was a bonus - such a beautiful garden and it attracted lovely bird life.

Cosy home away from home!

Very quiet, comfy bed, lovely shower, very clean and well organised. Attention to detail was outstanding! Loved the welcome bottle of champagne and the breakfasts. Friendly hosts who thought of everything!

Small detail - a fan would have been welcome at night, if we didn't want to use the air con.

Beautiful accomodation perfect for barossa stay

beautiful little cottage, very friendly hosts. the complimentary breakfast they provide was really thoughtful and helpful. pools great, little green yard to lie in the sun. $10 taxi to town or 15 min walk. washing facilities. was just awesome :)
