Charming Beach House for a great price!

Fantastic location right next to a black sand beach! the house was charming and comfortable. there's a patio out back that was perfect for star gazing at night, and there's even a place to wash the sand off your feet. I would absolutely recommend this place and would definitely book again in the future.

Perfectly located stylish house next to the beach

First of all: the house is perfectly located. The village of Mosteiros is a beautiful place and the house is located in the most strategic part of it - just next to the beach. All necessary shops and services are in a comfortable walking distance. Mosteiros is an ideal base camp for exploring the west of the island, including Sete Cidades. There was no problem for us to come in the middle of the night (key stored in a number-locked case). The house is stylish and very well equiped (beautiful patio, 2 bathrooms and a washing mashine are great). Sofia gave us all important information in a text message and numerous maps and other materials were also available.

The 2 upstairs bedrooms are rather low-ceilinged, mind your head. Next time we would like to physicaly meet the host. We got everything we needed, but the true human conversation would give the experiece another level.

super nice!

It's a cozy little house with a beautiful terrace. You can find everything you need, it's clean and the welcome basket was really nice (with regional stuff). Easy communication. We could have stayed longer!

It would have been really nice to prepare also towels for the sea.

Great house in a good location for enjoying beaches and scenic walks.

The host made it easy to pick up the keys to the house and provided all the information we needed to know about the house and town. She also left a nice welcome package for us to enjoy. The house itself was very pleasant, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook our own meals. It was located across the street from a beach. Mosteiros has many beautiful beaches and is also near Sete Cidades, a lovely little town nestled next to two lakes in the bottom of a caldera. While in Mosteiros we enjoyed relaxing on the beaches, swimming in the ocean, hiking the rim of the caldera around Sete Cidades, and doing several coastal walks.

Beautiful old property full of character and the best views over the beach

We loved the location the house was right on the beach with beautiful views of the sunset over the sea. A very characterful property in keeping with the little village. Great communication from the host and a nice little gift left on the table at our arrival.

The bedroom to the back of the property were very damp so made it uncomfortable to sleep in at night and the property needed airing due to the musty smell.
