This is the best place we stayed in all of Armenian on a 3 week, 800km trip!

The attention to detail was amazing from house design (art work, furnishing, coziness) to garden design. This is a Western European quality place.

Bathroom was small, could be a bit bigger. More hooks in the room would also help.

A home away from home

The second time I stayed and again a most unforgettable stay. The top room offers a beautiful view and the staff really makes you feel like you are part of a family. The surroundings offer good possibilities for hikes. Definitely coming back again.

Amazing food and friendly family, plus the pool was great at the end of a long day. You should definitely eat dinner here. The home made vodka is smooth, but not for the faint hearted!

Greenstone offered a wonderful oasis after a full days of touring

Beautiful view from the “family room” (our room on the 3rd floor). Balcony was a great place to relax, and sip on some coffee or wine. Yard and pool area were also great places to sit and chill after a full day of touring. Breakfasts were delicious and fulsome with eggs, fruits and. vegetables harvested that same day from the property. Room was comfortable and well maintained. We stayed two nights, and hosts were very helpful and friendly while respecting our privacy.

We stayed two nights but did not have dinner on site because these needed to be ordered in the morning and we weren’t sure of our plans. Other guests indicated they were very good. Site was somewhat hard to find using Google maps which kept trying to take us on dirt roads that were not navigable in our Toyota Corolla. MapsMe was able to get us there on better roads. Payment was required in cash only.

The staff are very kind and professional. The hotel is beautiful, clean and cozy. The food is tasty, the pool is clean, the yard is stunning (full of trees and flowers), the beds are comfortable. The hotel has a majestic view of the mountains.

I honestly can't think of a single thing I didn't like...

Fabulous homestay

A truly homely feeling at this wonderful property. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and warm, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Even though we didn’t understand the local language, they were able to do everything and more to make us feel comfortable, such as offering fresh fruit, preparing a hearty breakfast and even washing our car, without us asking. It was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic - could not recommend highly enough.

The property is beautiful, the rooms are really nicely done and decorated, and the service is impeccable. I have stayed at Green Stone several times, and each time I am more and more impressed with their service and hospitality, the food, and the charm of the place. Beautiful and relaxing, and I always leave feeling rested and refreshed. The team is always helpful and accommodating, and attention is paid to making every detail of your stay perfect. And the breakfast - amazing!

Loved it, will be back soon!

Everything was great - very relaxing, quiet, and beautiful place. Great for people traveling with pets. Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding (can also request packed lunch when going for hikes, worked out great for us). The location is in the hills above the main town and might seem remote, but there a small convenience store within walking distance. Karmen was a great host and we look forward to staying at GreenStone again during our next trip to the region.

Nothing, no complaints! Our dog did accidentally fall in the pool, but that was 100% her fault :)

Beautiful oasis in heart of Yegheghnadzor- close to hiking and monasteries

This was our second time here and we had another peaceful and relaxing stay at lovely Greenstone. Karmen and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our large party. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic with fresh, locally sourced delicious food. One of my favorite places to stay in Armenia!
