Lovely seaside break

My room was nice. The TV was very small and the shower curtain needs changing but other than that it was a decent sized room. Breakfast was ok, don’t normally have time for breakfast, only really ever grab a piece of toast. Love Colwyn Bay, the seafront is absolutely stunning. Would definitely stay at this Hotel/B&B again.

The small TV and the shower curtain needs changing. In my friends room the mattress wasn’t very good. Think this room is in need of a new one.

Very enjoyable.

Brilliant location. Room was perfect for me. Great choice of breakfast.The hosts were very welcoming and helpfull. Really enjoyed my stay at the Northwood.

Would recommend

Everything basically , always come back here if there is availability, staff are lovely , bed always clean and the street is very quiet at night

The only problem sometime is there are no cafes open later than around 5

Exactly what I was expecting (hoping for) - but delivered with friendliness and flexibility.

Good sized rooms. Very friendly and flexible hosts. Good breakfasts. Good location to walk to seafront. Plenty of on road parking. Very clean bedding. All the standard facilities you would expect plus a hair dryer which was a bonus. David and Sandy could not have been more hospitable hosts.

Nothing to objectively dislike. For the price/category I think The Northwood delivers on all levels.

Relaxing, friendly hotel, wonderful stay.

Location was excellent just a few yards from the Beach. A lovely small hotel, beautifully clean. Owners were helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast selection, we were even given a sausage after breakfast fir our little dog. We would definitely stay again.

Uable to parkwhen we arrived had to drive around unfamiliar location for 30 mins before I could stop outside accomodation, no parking available andhad to park overnight in apublic area.

Served the purpose.

The bed was comfortable. The room had a good shower. There was a decent choice for breakfast and the food we had was tasty.

The owner’s dog disturbed me in the night and in the morning. The door to the room and the one into the en-suite did not readily close/open.

Everything was to my requirement. For my short stay it had all I needed.

The sink plug required an O ring fitting to stop the water running out while in use.

Wonderful stay

Beds were very comfy, room was spacious and had a beautiful window seat. staff were extremely welcoming. Decor was lovely - simple yet inviting. Breakfast was nice too!

Only niggle was lack of option of a dimmer bedside light - wanted some light for our pet in the night but bedside lights were very bright.

We had a lovely time but due to the mattress will not stay again!!!

Location was great, walking distance to town centre and the beach, very quiet. My dog was most welcome and had a sausage every morning. Owners are great, nice to chat with and ready to give good advice about attractions nearby and best places to eat. Room we stayed in was spacious with great hot shower.

Mattress was very uncomfortable, could feel all the springs and therefore we didn’t have good sleep at all-needs replacing immediately!!!

Maybe a little outdated. We arrived early but couldn’t get no answer from the door bell so couldn’t check in until Tea Time.

Helpful and friendly owners who gave me details of buses locally and viewpoints. Also recommended places to eat

Bed was a little creaky and I'm not a fan of shower curtains
