Everything was perfect

Very nice and comfortable apartment with large terrace and on a great location close to the beach. The kitchen and bathroom contain everything you need and more.

Pleasant

the pool and location is nice

not very clean! there was a bug/cricket in the room that made loud noises at night... we cluldn't find it for 3 nights and had to sleep with the light on every night for it to shut up

Absolute heaven

Perfect apartment , quiet despite being close to strip and old town . Everything you could need . Best bit washing machine and air conditioning in bedroom a godsend .. didn’t watch tv so don’t know about channels, big balcony sun came round about 12 till sundown , was like having a private pool , hardly any guests , host Marie, was available when you needed her , couldn’t be nicer , definitely coming back next year …heaven ☀️

perfect getaway for couples 😍😍

property was perfect for a quiet break and the staff were very helpful and friendly.location was perfect short walk to main strip and amenities.

The only thing we could find fault in was that some of the sun loungers had seen better days and balconies could benefit from availing from having loungers on them as they get the sun for the majority of the day.

Wonderful experience

Maria the host is absolutely lovely! The place itself is spotlessly clean, excellent value for money and in a great spot just a few minutes walk from the "strip"/sea front. It's so quiet and peaceful and still close to the sea. The most direct way from the sea front is up a very steep hill, but if you meander through the streets a little it's less strenuous. The bed was so comfy, we slept better than we had in a long time, the pool area is relaxing with plenty of beds and a nice little sun trap. You also have your own porch or balcony area with table and chairs and a clothes dryer if you prefer your privacy. We would 100% stay there again, in fact I've already recommended Cactus to family and friends. If you like to do your own thing on holiday and want rest and relaxation but the option to be close to lively bars and restaurants, this is the place for you!

Perfect

utterly spotless with everything you could need. Very close to main strip but enough distance for peace at night and pool was lovely . Maria was excellent even welcoming us with a lovely bottle of bubbly for our anniversary. Perfect stay .

Amazing would recommend to friends and family

This was an amazing property to stay in. Maria greeted us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. She said if we needed anything she was always available. Great location 5 minute walk to the beach (but it is a big hill). So clean it was spotless. The pool was nice but very cold. We would definitely stay here again :)

Cute getaway

Cute little appartment short walk from the beach and restaurants. Nice clean pool. Very quiet and private. No kids. Lovely lady at the reception. Great tours via Viator available from nearby porto. Perfect holiday stay!

The only thing to complain was the fact that there was no basic kitchen stuff like salt and pepper etc we ended up buying everything. Appartment located on top of the very step hill.

Was quiet at night. Very good WI-FI.

The shower needs a rubber mat so you don't slip! It's an accident waiting to happen. Also the sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain properly. Couldn't find any English TV channels they were all scrambled.

Lovely comfortable friendly apartments

Maria and the team are warm welcoming friendly and helpful, and that sets the tone for the holiday. The apartments and complex are spotlessly clean. There are lovely thoughtful touches that make all the difference - washing up liquid, hsndwash, cloths, sponges, tea towel. Plenty of towels The apartment is well equipped with a toaster, electric kettle, iron, small ironing board, a washing machine and hair dryer.

What's not to like? The apartments are great. My daughter and I were very happy with them. But one note of caution, they are located uphill from the beach so may not suit everyone.

Everything else. Very peaceful , very friendly , good value for money. Pool nice , but a bit cold. No fighting for sun beds. Great location.

Great value accommodation.

Apartment was clean and spacious and provided all we needed for our short stay. Maria was always available to answer any questions & organised our return taxi.

Fantastic little break

The property had anything in there that you could possibly need. Very clean and was given ground floor as we had requested this. Great location. Friendly staff. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone.

Excellent, relaxed and comfortable.

The whole experience was fantastic, Jose greeted us warmly, showed us to our apartment, which was excellent, talked us through the details and left us to enjoy our stay. There were plenty of towels provided, soap in kitchenette and bathroom and refuse bags along with a brush etc. The apartment had a very nice feel about it, like it was cared for. The staff were very polite and always doing something, painting etc. We had a lovely, relaxed time there and would not hesitate to return.

The only thing I can think of is the positioning of the safe, it is set at a strange angle where you cannot see in it easily, I think this is because it has been secured to the outside wall for security, so I do understand.

An absolute pleasure staying in Cactus

It is a small complex of 14 apartments, which is very quiet and clean. We had apartment 14 which had a lovely balcony that caught the sun most of the day. Excellent air conditioning in the bedroom with complete black out blinds. Location is excellent with a 7 minute walk to the strip and beach and a 15 min walk to the old town harbour. Supermarkets and Lidl within walking distance. Maria and family were so helpful and pleasant.

Brilliant stay. Apartment was clean and comfy. Weather was nice and hot

Apartment only 10 minutes from the airport in a taxi, was cheap and easy to travel to. Got into the property using the gate code and was given the keys to the apartment straight away. Only 5 minute walk to the beach where there were many shops and restaurants. Lidl is also within walking distance. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking your own food. The pool was nice and private, sun lounges and umbrella's were available to use. Maria the host was lovely and very helpful during our stay.

We all enjoyed our holiday

Appartment was lovely clean and tidy but while going outside to sunbeds there was a big lack of sun umbrellas, also the few that was there were unsafe health and safety due to umbrella falling out of base. Other than we enjoyed our stay, other guests were lovely and friendly and hope to return some day again.

Superb

The flat was really nice. It was a good size, the sofa was comfy, the telly was big enough, the bedroom had built in wardrobes, the bathroom was perfectly good. Best of all though was the attention to detail, a teatowel in the kitchen, a corkscrew too - in fact there wasn't anything we thought should be there that wasn't. Good location too. A ten minute walk from the seafront (part of the route involves a very steep hill) which means ten minutes from bars and restaurants.

Almost nothing. The fridge was a bit noisy.

Great location for self catering stay

Well arranged self-catering apartments in a good location in Puerto del Carmen to take advantage of local options. The apartments had everything I needed to hand for a comfortable stay and the swimming pool was a lovely option.
