Would book again :)

The communication with the hosts was great, Sofia and Flavia were prompt to answer and help us with anything we might need, also really warm and welcoming. The room had everything we needed for our stay plus some nice welcome gifts. The AC was powerful enough, beds were comfy and the water pressure and heat were really good! We used their washing machine, iron and blow-dryer with no issues. There are a few markets nearby and lovely taverns/restaurants/cafes too frequented by locals. The location itself was quiet, except for one detail that couldn't be helped.

-Their neighbors were doing renovations during those days and we had two days of 9 am noise that made it impossible to sleep in. However we left the room to visit and ignored this bit, since it couldn't be helped . -I wouldn't recommend this location for someone that isn't ready to walk a lot. The closest metro station is 17 minutes away and a walk to Syntagma is around 30-35 depending on your speed. The busses are indeed close, but not always convenient timing/routes. Just something to keep in mind if you don't plan ubering around the city

Superb

We really like the place. Very nicely decorated, confortable, big wardrobes, silent and with a nice kitchen. The location is also very convinient.

The only thing i could complain about was having no spare toilet roles and no air drier, which was listed in the facilities. As we went for the WE there was noone at the reception but i did not find it was worth to bother anyone to provide it.

Good location and very nice and helpful staff.

Only partly family friendly. Ceiling was quite low in parts of the apartment, I hit my head more than once. Some corners of the place were not clean. Had to wait for the deposit to be released longer than appropriate.

Lovely hosts, clean facilities, terrible showers.

The women running the facility are absolutely lovely. They were very communicative and easy to reach, and helped as best they could.

I don't know if this is booking.com error, or a host error, but it is not clear from the listing that there are multiple apartments under one booking. I did not get the apartment I thought I was getting. I really did not like the shower situation. First, the hot water never lasted through any of my showers, despite following the directions of the host. Second, there was barely any water pressure which made washing my hair very difficult. Third, there is no shower curtain, so water would spray all over the bathroom. I also didn't like my lack of sleep due to a neighbour keeping a dog in their rental. This wasn't Homz fault per se, but there also wasn't any reparation made for my complete lack of sleep over the weekend.

The place is very clean and although there are no staff at all, they're very responsive and helpful via email/whatsapp

The place definitely does not look like the images provided on booking.com so that was hugely disappointing. Would be good to have a shower curtain to help keep the bathroom dry (very small)

Cozy, well-equipped and nice-located apartment. Perfect for visiting Athens with the family!

Clean, cozy, well-equipped apartment (kitchen). It is close to supermarkets, to the historical part of the city and even to an outdoor cinema!. Quiet neighborhood. The host was really kind and helpful during the check-in and checkout process.

Just minor areas of improvement: the toilet door handle had little grip, and it was difficult for the kids to open it. A better mattress on the main bed would make the place perfect!

Superb

The staff are amazing, Sofia in particular. We got early check-in and a late check-out due to our flight timings. They were very accommodating to all our requests. Neighbourhood is lovely and you have everything within reach, we're definitely staying there again when back to Athens!

Excellent apartment with a nice balcony and couch to relax in middle of Athens!

very nice appointed apartment even if a little old, the upkeep is very good! The location is optimum, close to good restaurants and cafés. The staff are very efficient.

Toiletries should be included for the duration of the stay. Light weight travelers often don’t carry such items. I was coming from Portugal where properties provide such items.

Great location - fantastic neighbourhood to wander around once you have done all the tourist activities. Very comfortable stay with everything you need to feel at home.

Small but cosy apartment, good for budget-concious travellers

The apartment was very cosy and comfortable. The property managers were easy to contact on Whatsapp when needed and offered a lot of helpful advice including directions to a nearby supermarket and restaurants. They spoke excellent English. Internet download speed was decent (upload speed not great), and it was relatively reliable. A restaurant called Peinaleon (about 1 block away) serves homey Greek cuisine and a Greek kebab shop Kalamaki Biftekaki (about 2 blocks away) was a regular for our dinners (very cheap!). The kitchen was well equipped. A Saturday farmers market is located about 8 minutes walk (south-west) in Exarcheia. During the day a walk to nearby Strefi Hill is recommended - so few people know about this.

The ceiling above the shower was very low and I couldn't stand up straight (I'm 205cm tall, so it might not affect everyone). The electricity went out for 1 day during out 25-day stay due to maintenance done by the electricity company. After getting in touch with the property managers they were able to keep me informed of what was happening. The location isn't especially close to the centre of the city on foot - it takes about a 20-minute walk to reach the busier sections. However, considering the price, it was still good value. We used the BeatTaxi app to book taxis which were relatively affordable (similar to Uber but uses registered taxis). The suburb of Exarcheia has a reputation with locals for it's occasional riots, street violence, gangs, and limited police presence. We didn't see anything during our stay, but were recommended by locals to avoid walking on certain streets at night (during the day its fine).
