Good for PNG

Breakfast was large and freshly prepared with a choice of how you wanted your eggs cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet has quite a good amount of choice. The Cafe has a great view of the Lae Harbour.

For PNG this is a good hotel, although if you are used to western standards you might find it a little less than you expect. The elevator is often not working, but the staff fix it as soon as they are notified.

Room, air conditioning, shower, breakfast, restaurant & cafe, staff

Fitness room - all machines are broken Stairs - steps are different heights, it’s dangerous Reception - is very slow. Needs automation.

Liked · A nice hotel in a good location. Especially the staff (greetings to Joseph, Simon, Sonic, Peter and the rest) are nice and helpful. The restaurant serves European food with an Australian theme, so very fatty, for that it has a great view of the bay. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the hotel itself is gated with security. he continental style breakfast was surprisingly good, and there was plenty of choice

great stay away from home where we felt comfortable.

It was just a very nice stay with very helpful people around us. I had 2 x very elderly people, and they helped us all the time. the food was great for them as well, and having lifts in the place was a big help

Television reception was a bit hard to see for them at times.

7 days in Hotel Morobe

I loved the deluxe rooms and two queen size beds. The separate living room gave privacy. Especially when doing work, it was easy to separate family members from work commitments but at the same time I could listen to conversations and be part of the family discussions. Love the gym on the first floor. The Hotel is conveniently located in top Town and hence, we had easy access to supermarkets, banks, markets, public transportation, police, hospitals, main wharf, etc. Had a pleased experience in Hotel Morobe and I would definitely go back there when I next visit Lae.

It seems the hotel was squashed up in a small Allotment and the carpark was too small. When there was a big gathering at the Restaurant there was not enough space. More carpark spaces and another alternate coffee shop is recommended

Overall room comfort and the food prepared by the Chef is world class.

I'd say, TV connections as its been scrambling with no clear sound.

Comfortable and pleasant stay in downtown Lae

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and food well presented. Wifi connection was good.

I would have liked printed, laminated instructions of how to use the phone to reach reception, as well as other guest rooms.

I found morobe Hotel a very good hotel to stay

The Breakfast was very good, and I really Like Environment. The room space was very big, and everything is in position. I like everything about Morobe Hotel. I am more than happy to visit the hotel next time for my next business trip

things that I didn't like is there's no water bottle provided in the room.

Superb

My duty free bottle of alcohol was smashed in my checked luggage from my transit flight. I was only staying one night at the hotel, but they washed my whole wardrobe before the check out time the next day. Very helpful.
