Remote, Quiet, peaceful and homey vibe

Loved that we got our own little private cottage on the property. The breakfast was amazing. Close to Evora, which was nice. The host was very helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication was great. The place felt cute and homey.

WiFi was a bit slow, which is to be expected in a rural area.

Great place to stay at

Everything was lovely. Location was close to Évora and easy to find. Free parking was provided. The place was super quiet and the surroundings were nice. The house we stayed at had everything we needed for our stay, was spacious enough and very comfortable. The breakfast was fenomenal. Fresh fruit and orange juice, pancakes and warm bread, along with milk, coffee and yoghurt. It was all served on our outside table every morning at our desired time. The host is very friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you for that!

A great stay right outside the city!

We had a lovely stay in the house that’s detached from the main villa. Rita is a charming host who quickly makes you feel at home. The breakfast was great and copious. The bed was comfortable and the shower had the best pressure we’ve encountered in Portugal. Idealic setting on a 7 hectare lot with horses roaming around. Although we didn’t use it, the pool area looked great. We enjoyed the location, which was minutes away from town. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the historic centre of Évora.

Cozy night near the centre of Évora

We travelled with our 2 kids around Alentejo and stayed here 1 night after visiting Évora. The property is small but clean and cozy with lots of character. It had everything we needed for the night and the host provided a baby high chair, travel cot and a great bath for our baby. The breakfast in the morning was lovely! It was easy to find the place.

Communication could be improved, we had messaged the host as soon as we booked the place but only heard back on the day of arrival. Because the description mentions that meals can be provided at an extra cost we were a little disappointed that it couldn’t be arranged, which meant travelling back to Évora again with a 5 year old and a baby just so we could have dinner. Not a major deal breaker but it would be nice to know in advance or have the description updated to mention that it’s a service they provide depending on the season or if organised in advance. The pool was also not ready to be used. It’s fine as we haven’t intended on using but again, it would be nice to know in advance because sometimes people book a place due to the amenities and services available.

Classic Portuguese Home B&B in Countryside Outside Evora

We loved the opportunity to stay in a classic Portuguese home in the country just a few miles outside Evora. Our hostess, Rita, was delightful and encouraged us to take a day trip to Monsaraz, which was fabulous. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and freshly baked rolls. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Superb

The location is amazing, quiet and surrounded by nature. In all the furniture you could see the attention to detail of the host. The breakfast was just amazing, the host prepared us the table outside with fresh fruit and pastel de nata. Very nice place!!

The only very small thing was that the bed was a bit small for two.

Exceptional

The host Rita was absolutely lovely and made us feel extremely welcome. The accomodation was beautiful and peaceful, with stunning surroundings with horses in the grounds, and a swimming pool which made it a tranquil stay. We'd stay again tomorrow

Wonderful stay in a lovely house

House is located outside the city but not far from Evora. It's very peacful and quiet place. We stayed in a private small house. It was very cozy and I loved every little detail in the house. It's a place I would definitely like to go back to and I'm sad we only stayed there for one night. There was a large swimming pool right next to the house. Breakfast was excellent. The host was really kind and helpful.

Best place

Very friendly owner. Spacious bungalow with comfortable bathroom, sleeping room, very well equipped kitchen/living room, terrace. All perfectly clean despite the location. Mosquito net in all windows. The surroundings are wonderful, in the middle of the nature. Unexpected welcome tasting was excellent. Swimming pool is clean though not chlorinated. Owner is very flexible regarding breakfast time. We have been overwhelmed by this place and for sure regretted that we haven't stayed there longer. Most probably the best place we ever visited via Booking.com in this price range. If we are around Evora again, for sure we will try to book that place.

Wonderful rural B&B highly recommend however do not try to find in the dark.

Wonderful place so friendly and with a great breakfast spread. We overslept due to jet lag and Rita was incredibly understanding and kind about it. The big fuzzy dog was a great bonus. Thank you for the best stay!

Was difficult to find and the very specific directions they sent did not work in the dark as we could not see the signs which had no lights - and- our rental car did not clock partial kilometers only full kilometers so 2.8 kilometer directions were difficult to follow. . We were able to find eventually however took an extra 30-45 min. Strongly recommend you find in the daylight. That was our plan however due to flight delay was not possible. We did enjoy the adventure and the place is well worth it!

Such an enjoyable place to stay!

Lovely guest rooms/apartments in beautiful countryside. Comfortable bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms. The hosts were kind and helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful. Our kids fell in love with the dogs and horses.

Maravilhosas!!!

The hosts were great, went out of their way to provide my requests. I had a most delicious home cooked meal in the evening and breakfast was fit for a Queen! I rested so well and would definitely go back ~ highly recommended! Muito obrigada Rita e Alice

We know where to stay when going back to Evora !

Great spot to easily access many things in the neighbourhood of Evora. Coming home is the best way to describe our arrival here, every day again. Warm welcome by the hosts. Cosy inside, much space outside, great pool, wonderful food, fresh breakfast every morning... what more can one want ? We were sorry we had to leave...

So Peaceful

House is located outside the city near farms. It’s quiet and very peaceful. The apartment was SO spacious and comfy. It felt more like a home than accommodations. Our host was lovely. Very genuine and welcoming. The breakfast fantastic. We’ve been on the road for a while and this was a lovely respite.

Travelers should note that this is a bit remote - so a car is probably recommended.

Rita is a very friendly person. The breakfast is very good. Cleaness too. It is a quite place but if we want we have an easy access to a quite a lot of interesting historical places.
