Muy recomendable!

Apartamento con todo lo necesario, personal muy amable y acogedor, nos ayudaron con todo! Muy cerca de las mejores playas y sitios de la isla en moto o mulita. A 20 minutos a pie del aeropuerto.

Para repetir, experiencia TOP

La verdad que todo genial. Han sido unos días de máxima desconexión. Tienes todo lo que necesitas para la estancia y es un lugar muy tranquilo. Los anfitriones son excelentes y te ayudan en todo. Nos facilitaron una moto para recorrer la isla y nos llamaron a un taxi para volver a irnos (Larry). La cocina equipada, lan piscina genial, lavadora… todo todo todo suuuuper bien! Si volvemos a la isla, repetimos aquí sin duda! Muchas gracias familia

Die Gastgeber Das Posada Ashanty sind einer der liebsten Menschen, die man nur treffen kann. Die Lage war perfekt die Ausstattung in der Wohnung war super wir hatten alles was wir gebraucht haben und die Gastgeber haben uns super gut geholfen und und super viele Tipps gegeben. Alles war so lieb eingerichtet und wir waren auch ein wenig traurig, als wir fahren mussten. Jedes Mal würden wir wieder dorthin kommen. Wir haben es dort lebt. Die Betten waren super komfortabel. Bis zum nächsten mal:)

Amazing Christmas

Amazing time in Providencia at Kildren’s place! The view from the terrace is amazing.. Spacious apartment and comfortable bed. The kitchen is enough equipped although some more utensils could help. Toilet/bathroom ok! Super friendly and helpful host with rental scooter and organising snorkelling tour with Brandon (amazing day) Ps: scooter is essential to move around the island (or mototaxi)

We loved our stay. The hosts were very nice and helpful. It was a comfortable fairly large space with a kitchen. I felt it was a great value. The hosts helped us rent a scooter and let us borrow their snorkel gear.

A perfect slice of paradise on Providencia

We could not have felt more welcome by Kildren, Sumaya and their neighbours on our trip to Providencia. The apartment was huge, very clean, had great air con and a gorgeous view from the balcony. Kildren and Sumaya organised snorkels and a scooter for us and were always available to help us in any way they could. Also, their neighbour Idana's cooking is incredible, we had the most beautiful fresh seafood meal courtesy of her! A perfect stay, could not recommend more!

We've had an amazing time in Providencia and our room at Posada Ashanty was perfect. It was well equipped, so we were able to prepare breakfasts there and then have them on our little terrace with the view onto the sea. The bed was huge and super comfortable, everything was very clean and well taken care of. The hosts have scooters that can be rented and we took one out for the entire time we've stayed there so it was extremely easy (and fun) to move around the island. Our hosts were amazing and attentive, always ready to answer our questions and help with booking tours, etc. Highly recommended!

Kildren is a great host and did everything he could in order for us to enjoy our short little stay. As I got unfortunately sick right before flying to Providencia our initially planned stay of two nights ended up just being a one night stay. We appreciated a lot that Kildren at the end only charged us for one night although he could have charged two and same goes for the scooter we rented from him. We had a great apartment with amazing view of the sea and the apartment was clean, very practical and the AC was also working great. Kildren also allowed us to check out later than official check out time due to no new guests arriving on the same day and this we appreciated as we had such a short stay. I would definetely recommend to stay here if you are visiting providencia!

The only downer was that the bed is slightly too hard so the quality of the sleep could improve with a bit softer mattress. There is also no WiFi and since the mobile data had bad reception here a WiFi would be helpful, but not a must.

Great host that helps out with everything that you may need (organized us a scooter for the time on the islands, gave us great restaurant recommendations, organized taxi to the ferry back to San Andres). Apartment is very spacious with everything one might need. Also comes with air-con. Great price value ratio, definitely would stay here again if I ever make it back to beautiful Providencia.

Everything! Kildren and his family could not have done more for us. They sorted us out with scooters, snorkels, water, a Moto taxi and on Christmas eve they even gave us some of their Christmas cake. The apartments were lovely and had everything we needed and the view was stunning..

The most wonderful oasis

Posada Ashanty was an amazing stay. Everything was wonderful. The owners were incredibly helpful and invested in making sure we had the best time in Providencia. They lent us some goggles and flippers to use, organised our scooter and even let us have a shower after we checked out to wash off the salt. They really looked after us and we cannot recommend the place enough. The bed was super comfy and massive! It also had really nice sheets, so nice to sleep in. The air conditioning and fan worked really well and the kitchen was really well stocked.

We spent a week in Providencia with family. The island is a peaceful little paradise especially for snorkeling, diving and quiet beaches. The Posada Ashanty is a very nice place - quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts Sumaya and Kildren are super friendly and helpful. It seems that they know nearly everyone on the small island and helped to organize transport, guided tours, restaurant reservations etc. Perfect stay! Thanks again Sumaya and Kildren.

Use repellent on the beaches! Sand fly bites are quite itchy.

The place was amazing for the value. We enjoyed pretty much every sq mt/in of it. The staff was super nice and helpful, we ended renting scooters from them and we had some of the best holidays possible.

nice stay in a quite suite.

the vibe. the view. the breeze. the country house sensation. you hear roaster sings the dawn , dogs playing with people like friends , and cattle moos in the evening and night. the full kitchen is fantastic. the owner is super easy going , friendly, helpful. arranging transportation and give suggestions. he also brought barreled water for me.

if your next door customer is not quite but party going type of young people they may make noise till midnight. for me it’s great talking to them. it’s a little far to the city and southern end and west side. but you can always signal your needs of transportation. people on the island is super friendly and help you beyond your expectations. I.e. some guy drove me to my destination that’s several kilometers further down their own destination.

Staff couple were nice and very helpful. Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were clean and efficient.

Far from restaurant or town and no public transportation. Not their fault. Kitchen very hot with no AC.

comfortable quiet stay on an authentic island

excellently kept by Keily and his family. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Keily was super mellow and happy to help with everything. The unit itself lended to self catering very nicely. All the things you need to make a decent meal. The porch had a table and chairs with a strong fan to enjoy your meal without the pestering mosquitos. Air conditioning i the room worked super well and cable TV had lots of options including some super nice music channels.

there is no wi-fi… however there are community wifi spots along the coast. this might change soon though as when we visited the island was still rebuilding from a devastating hurricane.

Lovely host, lovely place 💚

Sumaya was incredibly kind and thoughtful. The apartment was clean and stocked and more than I could ask for. It was a great great, a good vibe and beautiful energy!

There wasn’t a lot to do around the place, but the quality of the accommodation and customer service were perfect!!

Quiet, cozy and very comfortable!

Kildren and Sumaya made me feel very welcome! Every day they asked me if they could help me with anything. I arrived 1 day early and they arranged a place to stay, the property is on the quiet side of the Island which was a huge plus. By motorbike everything is within 10 min. Thank you for everything and when I go back to Providencia I will definitely stay here again.
