Perfection without perfection which made it perfect in every way!

Everything was like a fairy tail dream for our family, the location was an adventure to get to driving through the winding twisted roads up and through the mountains and when you make it there it’s perfect in every way, truly breathtaking.By day the property was amazing with beautiful little wall lizards and their brightly coloured skin roaming all around the stonework and the swallows coming for a drink in the pool as we swam, eagles would often circle the mountains with such grace and beauty, and by night the beautifully done Stone Mountain Villa would have baby geckos all around with tiny bats flying past the many fairytale like lights laminating areas all around us and even coming for a drink in the pool as we swam. It was like a dream and the kids loved it as much as us. This place was by far the best holiday destination all of us had ever been a truly magical place recommended for anyone wanting to get back to nature and away from technology, we all put our phones away for the whole trip and reconnected in ways we didn’t see coming. Thank you Villa fabrica for our dream holiday 13 days we will never forget.

We was all very sad when we had to leave, we wanted to live there for ever.

Superb

I have been coming to Crete for years and love everything about the island. Villa Fabrica far surpassed what I was expecting for accommodation. The little extras that were put in place as part of the welcome pack went far beyond what I have previously experienced. This, for me, makes Villa Fabrica an outstanding accommodation. As a single mother of 3 teenage daughters, we had all the space we needed within the property. We had all the space we needed outside to enjoy our piece of isolated, rural, Cretan heaven and feel free to truly relax and enjoy ourselves as a family. Thank you.

I can't say anything I didn't like about the accommodation, but it is a point if you are not comfortable and capable with driving. It is out of the way, rural and isolated from town and shops. You need to be OK with travelling 30 mins plus to a sizeable supermarket and also for restaurants. The roads are more on the challenging side to drive. I have been coming to Crete for years, and it was the most challenging drivewise, but I am comfortable with that. It is something to consider if you are not. I will certainly come back.

High quality family time in wonderful villa surrounded by nature.

Our family had an amazing time at Villa Fabrica. It started with the nice ride in the hills towards the villa, followed by a warm welcome. Some fruits, snacks and some drinks in the fridge were part of the welcoming. Information regarding shops, touristic visits, ... are provided. The site is just wonderful. Surrounded by nature and quietness. Outdoors bbq and pizza at our disposal. All necessary facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher, tv, wifi, oven etc are available. Very nice pool and terrace. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Private parking. House & pool were cleaned once a week! If you really with high quality family time, this place is highly recommended.

Can't think of anything negative to mention. It's just great.

Breathtaking experience

Our stay in Villa fabrika was unforgetable :)))) the Villa is build on a foundation of a XIX century olive oil factory, however build with high quality stone and material - thus the place has both a vibe of tradition and modern comfort. The interior has such a level of warmth and atrention to detail, that a womans hand must have been used to feel truly as if at home <3 The location is great, within driving distance to Chania, in a little valley, such that when swimming in a swimming pool, you feel solitude of being sorrounded by mountain peaks. The hosts are the kindest of people, welcomming us with a basket of olive oil, wine and other goods we didn't even ask for, and then left us to enjoy the stay with complete respect for our privacy. This was by far the best reservation I have ever made on Booking - thank you so much :))))

Exceptional

Our stay at Ville Fabrica was like a dream. The peace and quiet of a small village in the hills, an authentic atmosphere, just the bells of the sheep and the singing of the scops owl at night. The house is great, carefully furnished, everything is clean and carefully maintained.

Family trip 11days at villa fabrica

The views were brilliant, lovely mountains and the hosts were very helpful and always at hand to help. The house had lots of lovely treats when we arrived including a delicious cake and it’s very well equipped.

The house itself is very dark so you don’t get to see much light and views when inside. It’s also very thin the flooring so you can hear everything all over the house when someone is trying to sleep or watching TV, which makes it more difficult with children.

Another great experience in this magnificent and unique Island.

This is a superb villa. Very nice family owners, greeted us with all the essentials as we arrived and more ( cake, wine and raki!). It is very private and a wonderful base to just kick back and relax or explore the tavernas and villages of the spectacular White Mountains. Once you are sensible and get used to the mountain roads you realise that this is a special part of Crete. Finally, but by no means least, the local people are all kind, friendly and hospitable- the value for money everywhere is almost embarrassing.

We should have got our grocery and drinks shop in before driving up from Chania. The local shops offer good vegetables, fruit, local cheese but not a lot of choice after that, that we could find. This is not the property’s fault- just what we will do next time.

Beatiful house in peaceful surroundings

The house is very big and comfortable. The outdoor area is amazing with a large terrace including barbecue, pizza oven, table, chairs and a couch, there is a big swimming pool with lounge chairs and a gorgeous view of the mountains. It takes 30-40 mn to get to Chania and beautiful beaches. I highly recommend.

You need to walk through one bedroom to get to one of the other bedrooms

Amazing place

Every single thing about this villa is exeptional The views The facilities Beautiful garden great pool Lovely patio The service was amazing The host is incredible She even made us shopping including bread fruit sweets cheese water and local shnaps She made sure we had enough towels, blankets and provide us in all necesery tools and products we needed. Very professional and very sweet lady We had an amazing stay Also stay in the mountains has one more advantage It was always a little cooler then in Chania 3 to 4 C^ can do a lot of difference after a day on the beach especialy when you travel with children Very well equiped kitchen

The Wi-fi only worked about half the time, although could just be because of the location. Air con did not work in main bedroom

Home away from home

A very warm welcome by considerate hosts. A full fridge, fruit basket and homemade cakes to greet us... The house is perfect. The hosts respond quickly if you need help with anything, making you feel at home, away from home, which is great when you travel with young kids who suddenly need to see a doctor! Thank you so much for your kindness!

Excellent choice. Will visit again.

Superb villa, very clean and spacious. Tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The hosts are great. They left the fridge full with sweets, raki, and breakfast, which was a very welcoming touch. Excellent for families with small children. The location of the property is very beautiful near the top of a small hill, with hiking paths nearby. Just 25 minutes from Chania.

The second bedroom on the top floor is only accessible trough the double bedroom which could be a privacy issue if not occupied by a family or close friends.
