About this house rental
This charming home was built in 1890 in Marquette’s historic east side neighborhood area. The home is 5 short blocks to Lake Superior beaches and walking/biking trails. It is under two blocks from the Third Street Shopping District which boasts several locally respected restaurants, brew pubs, shopping and art galleries. The Downtown District is within easy walking distance and has additional shopping, restaurants, brew pubs and the lower harbor area where most of our festivals take place. Marquette is a very biker friendly community with miles of trails to explore nearby.
The home consists of an updated kitchen that has every appliance any home would have. It is fully equipped so you can be as culinary as you like. The spacious bathroom has also been updated and offers a deep soaker tub/shower combination and radiant in floor heat. A full size washer & dryer are also housed within the space.
Entry, living room and bedroom furnishings are all in great shape. Mattresses are very comfortable. The home has a modern/contemporary style with some whimsical elements that complement the décor. The single level living makes watching your children easy as you have a full range of sight throughout the home. The home sleeps 4 in the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed; the second bedroom has a double bed.
The back deck has an outdoor grill and dining set so you can enjoy dining al fresco, if you like. The backyard also has a standalone (locked) storage shed that you can use to store outdoor recreational equipment during your stay. The backyard is fenced so your children can play out back without concern for traffic or neighbors.

This rental was fantastic for your stay in Marquette and day tripping to Munising. The host was responsive and even offered some suggestions for the area prior to check in. This rental is walkable to downtown Marquette which is a definite plus! It was very clean, had everything we needed (lots of towels which is always appreciated) nice backyard and neighborhood. Perfect for your family of 4. Two adults and 7 and 12 year old boys. This will definitely be our go to if we go back to the area again! Plus close to waterfalls!

We enjoyed a return visit to Marquette and another stay at this VRBO. We loved it all, as usual! The place was just as we remembered it, with even more conveniences (i e. Ziploc bags, etc). Only constructive feedback to offer is that a drying rack would be nice for beach towels and swimming suits (if we don't necessarily want to use the dryer each time), and a higher quality set of grilling tools to handle some serious steaks. This is a fantastic place to stay and we look forward to returning!

I loved Ohio Oasis. The house itself was neat and clean. It was relaxing from the moment we walked in the door. Furnishings were comfortable and in great condition; the bathroom was spa like with big fluffy towels. Plus the shower had great water pressure! Two outdoor spaces where we could relax - a back patio and a front porch.
The house a short walk to the water and downtown.
Prior to arriving, the hosts provided us with a lot of information and recommendations about restaurants and places to go. They responded quickly to our questions.
I didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

I highly recommend this property; it is exactly as advertised - clean, well-stocked, and close to downtown and to Lake Superior. We've stayed at several rentals in Marquette, and this is one of the best options for sure.

This home is exactly as listed; a comfy place to stay away from the crowds on a peaceful residential street. Plenty of room for 3 people, the back yard was a nice surprise as it had a full deck and gas grill ready to use. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute property in the heart of the city. In town for NMU Graduation the location and accommodation did not disappoint. Walking distance to many restaurants and breweries.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. Great location to serve as a base for all things Marquette and the surrounding area.

Pat's place was very clean and check-in was easy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the ice machine was a bonus. We really enjoyed walking into town for food, drinks and shopping. Check out the Vierling, Babycakes and The Delft for food. We enjoyed The Honorable Distillery for drinks and Thill & Son's Fish House for smoked fish too. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect property for our two couples spring getaway to the UP. Great location for walking to shopping, dining and area attractions. All the amenities you could ask for, well equipped kitchen and laundry onsite. Very clean and well organized. Cute outdoor area for when the weather warms up. One of the very best locations we have stayed in while in Marquette. Easy walking distance to 3rd Street (restaurants, coffee shops, and bars) as well as downtown. Close to the trail by the lakeshore. The home was perfect for the two of us. Very comfortable and practical. Definitely would stay there again.

This was a wonderful home right in the middle of everything to do in Marquette. Clean as a whistle stocked with everything you need, with a beautiful backyard. Walk to Lake Superior, Blackrocks and Ore Dock Breweries, restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Great communication with the owners. Easy and relaxing. Wish I could have stayed longer.

It was just what we needed easy and comfortable with a great backyard. My only concern being older was tub with a big step in and out and no handrails and the shower door lets lots of water all over the bathroom so be careful as you walk around. Put towels on floor or wear shoes. I fell the first day but was lucky not to get hurt. Otherwise a great property
