A perfect and relaxed environment - loved being self sufficient and having opportunity to eat in.

Location great, a few minutes to anywhere. The cottage was sparkling with everything we needed in the kitchen. Warm, comfortable lounge room - lovely beds and linen.

What a surprise great accommodation

The accommodation was once a church and has been tastefully converted to an overnight stay . The bed is brilliant very comfortable overall the accommodation is great

Lovely setting. Off street parking. Quiet.

Kitchenette a little difficult to use. Could use a range hood. Through wall exhaust would work well to stop cooking smells going all over.

very spacious. 3 bedrooms perfect for our group. excellent sized bathroom plus a second toilet. kitchen had everything we needed.

didn’t feel comfortable using the back lane entry at night for parking. happier to park on Patton Street

Great cottage location for the whole family; reminder of childhood homestead.

Off street parking. Easy access to shopping centre and supermarkets for supplies. High speed wifi.

First Broken Hill visit for St. Pat's day races, had a great time, relaxing place to unwind daily.

Spacious bedroom with couch, chair and clothes hangar (silent butler?), comfortable chesterfield lounge brand newly refurbished bathroom with large shower including flexible shower rose and once again spacious.

Interesting furniture and wall art. Porch is nice. Parking shelter is good.

Bathroom needs a remodel. Shower hot and cold are either scalding hot or cold; needs an upgrade of the plumbing fixture. Door opens the wrong way; person can get bashed standing at the sink from the door if someone comes in.

The accommodation has great potential but we were disappointed.

Beautiful building with lots of character, beautiful main bedroom.

Shower was extremely difficult and one of our group got scalded…unfortunately they didn’t shower again. I found the fold up bed difficult so slept on the lounge. Always feel welcome when there are thoughtful touches but there was only 200ml of long life milk for 3 guests for 2 nights stay, just 2 Pods for coffee machine, 3 tea bags and we ran out of toilet paper. In these times bottled water is a must. All of this would only cost $10 The limited supply of crockery meant constantly washing up. No mirror above sink in the bathroom.

GREAT STAY AGAIN IN A DIFFERENT AREA OF THIS VERY INTERESTING COMPLEX

We have stayed once before but the Outback Church section. As this stay was for just the 2 of us we booked the cottage at the back of the church. The unit had everything we needed & a very comfortable bed, which is very important to us. Nice that a coffee machine was provided but we travel with ours anyway. Lovely to have 2 air con units as it was very cold when we stayed, so that was a bonus too. All in all for the amount of time we spent in the unit, everything was just fine & everything was there & provided. Thanks for having us stay, once more Andrea & Guy

The floor in the shower was very slippery & it leaked out onto the floor. However we purchased a slip mat & left for future guests, so all sorted with us. The water pressure and shower was totally adequate, loo worked etc so really not a 'big deal' as rest of the apartment was very comfortable & not a lot of our time was spent in the bathroom anyway ;-)

A most enjoyable 4th visit to Broken Hill and the Church cottage stay helped.

The location is good - quite close to Broken Hill town centre. Street is quiet apart from when mine trucks rumble down there at night. The kitchen, bedroom, lounge area, dining area and bathroom all well appointed and comfortable. Everything we needed for making meals in our accommodation. Very good wifi. Effective heating when needed. Convenient car parking Host is extremely helpful and proactive in ensuring that our needs were met.

The church cottage is clearly an old building - this is clearly evident on the outside. Also on the inside in places where the general 'facelift' has not touched. The property would be improved with some further painting of walls, skirtings etc. Lack of a mixer tap in the shower (common to many holiday properties) makes it hard to be economical with water. Much water is wasted in getting them temperature even close to acceptable and, unlike when the is a mixer tap and the water flow can be turned off while one scrubs the body/ shampoos etc. turning the water flow off between 'events' is impractical because you would waste a whole lot more water in getting the temp right again. Door locks could be improved - security is not as good as it could be.

A really comfortable and interesting place to stay in Broken Hill. Not in the centre, but only a 5 min drive from there.

Roomy, clean, interesting, comfortable.

A few pantry items would be nice - been just leaving the left over items from previous guests. A few more pots and pans.

It was a disappointing . It was Extremely overpriced. Similar property’s cheaper by half

The owners live interstate but the housekeeper was helpful in letting us into the property

It was expansive, the beds were uncomfortable! Location was noisy and a long way from the main centre of town

Disappointed.

Okay. A lot of noise from road traffic. Spacious and comfortable.

No milk for tea or coffee, told we should have asked for that when we booked. Really? No plastic jug for cold water and none in fridge. No tissues. Washing machine in cottage but no clothes dryer. Floor was dirty/sticky and bench tops not wiped. Shower curtain badly stained and no shower soap provided either.

Just a couple of things .. there was no milk.. and no hand soap .. left over milk in the fridge and used shampoo etc in the shower. Needs some signs to say what place ie church stay .. cottage stsy .. as we had other guests wanting to come through ours insisting that it went through to the church stay Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay tjank you
