AWESOME STAY AND LOCATION

As always, the Moxy never disappoints . Great location as we were in town for the Ironman and it was within walking distance and all the great restaurants around also. Clean rooms and friendly staff. What else can one ask for!! 10 out of 10

Cool vibe, small rooms

The hotel has a fun vibe but the rooms are very small and the bathroom is divided into separates parts: toilet, shower and a sink in the living room. As a couple if feels too small for more than one night.

Hi absolutely a door the room it is beautiful bed was comfortable. Shower was amazing. The bathroom was real nice. I love her. Love you. I fell in love with a view. It was beautiful.

A great place to stay!

Great location, fun decor, bar/restaurant on the premises, and a great price.

The rooms are very small and lack storage space. It’s a great room for an individual or couple if you’re staying for a day or two. Not ideal for a family or a long stay (if you like to unpack). The pillows were too flat but that might just be my personal preference. Parking is not included and is a little pricey.

Great hotel that has all you need and conveniently located in Downtown Louisville.

Great location - right by the river and very convenient walk to many restaurants and venues in the area. The hotel itself had a nice bar, taco restaurant, and nice gym.

The room was not cleaned after my first night's stay.

Too Cool for School - or Comfort!

The location of this hotel is top notch. I could see the Yum Center from my room which is barely a block away. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the lobby area is very cool. They even give you a chip for a free drink when you arrive. While the drink is non-alcoholic, you can get a shot for a $1. That's a very nice welcome.

My scores for this hotel are all over the board. As mentioned, the vibe is very eclectic, staff was friendly and the location is GREAT, it all comes down to the room. In an attempt to be different, cool, or eclectic, they have left out the comfort part. The staff member who checked me in said as a "reminder," the rooms were "in the European style." I've been to Europe, so I thought that translated into small. The room's size wasn't the problem, but it was so sparse and weirdly laid out had I not been there by myself for one day, I'd have hated it. Other than the bed, there is NO furniture. One folding chair and one folding tray (calling it a desk is a stretch) is hanging up on the wall on hooks. There is a sink in the room, rather than the large bathroom, with a shelf and there are small built in blocks to serve as bedside tables. There is virtually no surface area to put anything nor a closet to hang anything. Along with the extra "furniture" hanging on the walls, there is one hanger provided. And funny, with those hooks being such an internal part of the design, there's not a one of them in the bathroom - where one could really use them! I was in the room less than 12 hours with one change of clothes and two pairs of earrings. Any more of anything would have driven me crazy. The hotel is total style over substance.

Very good

The hotel is in a great location--I even had a view of the Ohio river from my room, which was lovely. I also like the style, decor, and cleanliness of the hotel and my room. It felt more personal and cozy than a typical hotel room. Zombie Taco downstairs had some really great food.

"Parking" was listed as an amenity for this hotel; however, the hotel does not offer parking. I had to pay for public parking and find parking independently, which took some navigating and added to the cost of my stay.

It was a great stay, we will stay at a Moxy again. Very enjoyable!

Location and vibe. Could walk where ever I wanted to visit.

Love the location and the vibe of the area. I would stay there again. Went for whiskey tastings, perfect location.

No coffee in the room. There is some in the lobby. Bar was good but did not figure out the breakfast.

Good location. Bring your own pillows.

The location was great.

The smallest room I have ever stayed in. The bed was hard as a rock. The pillows were flat. I ordered food and was not given utensils to eat with and was told to get them at the bar. The wait at the bar for a simple fork was twenty minutes for my now cold food. No parking. Parking was an extra 22 dollars, down the street.

Cool place but very tiny

The vibe of the hotel was very nice and loved having a nice bar and food right there. Loved the games as well.

The room was incredibly small and crampt. Our rate said it included breakfast, which it didn't. Our soap dispenser didn't work. I called the front desk and asked for soap, but they never brought us up anything.

Good but not worth the $$ at all.

Location was great. Cool theme. Bed was comfortable and appeared clean.

Bathroom/shower could’ve been cleaned better from last guess. We had some type of leftover substance in the sink, wasn’t sure what it was. Wipe down job but not actually cleaned in my opinion.

Very well kept and worth the price.

Every inch of the place was well designed. Everything was beautiful and clean. Friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Super modern.

The breakfast menu was small. The room keys constantly stopped working. We were told it’s bc they were next to our other cards, but like where am I going to put a key card other than in my wallet? I don’t know if there’s a solution to fix that, but I was super annoying to have to constantly go to the front desk to get it fixed.
