Location..Great - Noise....Awful!

The location of the apartment is perfect, close enough to everything, walking through the little cobbled streets (leave the heels at home!) Plenty of places to eat/drink on the square for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check in with Jose was brilliant, he communicated the location (along with photo of the door) and provided an entry code and also key safe code, our room was ready and we were good to go.

The room is very tiny. The wardrobe was in the corner and very dark inside with no light, there was no drawer/shelf space for underwear/t-shirts etc. The shower screen has seen better days, black around the bottom of it. You had to keep the bathroom door closed to pass the sink to get to the shower, it was that small. The AC unit needs attention, it's noisy and ineffective - so if you're going in the height of summer you may struggle to sleep! My biggest complaint (I have already shared this with José) was the noise in the apartment, the front door is on a spring hinge and 'slams' shut with some ferocity, making the loudest bang every time it's opened/closed. Other guests then walk the stairs (so noisy) you can hear them chatting/walking then turning the keys to their rooms, using the shower and toilet, all from our room (room 1, first floor) This really spoiled our stay. We had no noise from outside at all.

Great location. The description of the place is misleading. It's not 3 rooms and does not have 3 beds. It's a one room apartment with an on suite.

As the booking is not as described it's over priced for what you get.

The location was wonderful.

The single bed was a bit short. I am 6' tall and my feet hung over the end of the bed.

Location is good.

The previous guest had not checked out and we could not check in, which upset our travel plans. When I complained about it, they reopened the matter. The cleaners were opening other guests' rooms without permission and letting other people into those rooms.

central location

• Far too expensive for what it was • Pictures were misleading. The place was incredibly small • Toilette was blocked. Got fixed but issue persisted • Towels, bed linen were of poorest quality • Cleaning standards need an upgrading • Couldn’t plug the fridge. The solution found by property was to use the plug in the bedroom-reducing further the small space available • We booked the triple room. I can hardly imagine 3 people staying in that room- only 1 cupboard available with space for 1 persons clothes to be stored

Perfect location, very clean, housekeeping very good.

There was a kettle and fridge but no room to make a cup of tea/coffee except for the top of fridge. The room was small for a group of 3, best suited for 1 or 2 people. Also not good for people with mobility difficulties due to lots of stairs.

Good location and great value for money

Great location close to walking to the old town. On a square which had a lot of character and great for people watching and taking in the atmosphere. Clean and excellent value for money.

It is a little noisy outside at night but overall didn’t bother us too much

Fabulous location

The location is terrific, on a plaza that becomes lively in the evening. Our room did not overlook the plaza and was very quiet. Also cosy and clean, with cupboard space and tea-making facilities. It felt very secure. Communication with the host was great.

One single long sausage pillow for two people was a bit uncomfortable. Likewise there were only one mug & glass between us.

Very nearby everything, 15 mins walk everywhere and hotel staff are very responsive. A great place to say due to its location.

I had paid for an additional night but due to unforeseen circumstances wanted the amount to be refunded which was refused. I did not expect a full refund but at least a partial refund.

great location, contacless 7/24 staff independent check-in available, clean room,

very narrow entrance and stairs , hard to get in with baby stroller. No chance for wheelchair There was kettle in the room , would be nice to have cups also

Impossible to sleep until 2 a.m. because of several noise sources, would not recommend

The room was clean and the check in was easy. The staff tried to help us with the noise issues.

We had four issues with our room: 1) Noise. Oh my god the noise. There are three main sources of noise. 1.1) The loudest and most annoying is the bar next door, which uses a patio as its operations room for the kitchen. They yelled to each other, dragged beer kegs and bottle crates the three nights, and on friday they played extremely loud music until 1.30 a.m. The window of the room offers little to none sound proofing. 1.2) The door and wall to the hallway are not sound-proofed, we heard every neighbor go in and out as loudly as if there was no door at all. 1.3) Flushing the toilet is like starting a jet engine. 2) Poor internet connectivity. The wifi reaches the room with 1-2 bars and is unusable. 3) Size. The room is tiny, with no wardrobe. 4) Disconnection between our expectations and what we got. We have been travelling for ages in all corners of the world and this is the first time in which what we expected (based on the reviews on booking) differs so greatly from what we got, for a really considerable amount of money per night.

Grest value accommodation in a historic square. Maybe not for you if you need 100% quiet to sleep but wonderful and uniq

The apartment was in a wonderful historic square, with lots of life close to everything you would like to see in Cordoba.

The apartment was noisy as it was the carnival weekend, but this wasn’t problem for us, in fact being able to sit on the balcony and watch the proceedings was a bonus!

Don't hesitate, best stay!

-Cheap -Just open the door with the code, no need to interact with staff -Really clean, modern neat, fridge, good shower, really comfy bed and nice balcony -amazing location and even though is over the plaza, windows are really soundproof

-Wifi can be a tad stronger - you will hit your head on the bed

Good location, smooth check-in, view to the Plaza

The convenient location, good internet connection, small balcony, easy check-in, spacious room. Kettler and fridge provided.

Lightening in the room might be brighter, also, as I was travelling and working, would be nice to have a working table in the room. Also, I imagine that during the summer period it might be noisy, as the hostel is in the Plaza itself.
