Comme des vacances chez des amis !

Les propriétaires de cette GuestHouse sont absolument adorables. Serviables, ils font tout pour que l’on passe un excellent séjour. On se sent comme chez des amis. Le petit déjeuner est très complet, très bon, et surtout on peut le prendre à n’importe quelle heure sans limite. La piscine est très grande, assez profonde et parfaitement entretenue. D’ailleurs, si vous y séjournez le samedi, vous pourrez profiter de la Pool Party, organisée chaque semaine, une super fête ouverte à des clients extérieurs, avec une vingtaine de participants, et un repas tous ensemble au bord de la piscine. Les chambres sont grandes, la climatisation est parfaite, les salles de bain spacieuses. Et le lit très confortable avec plein d’oreillers..! C’est un peu excentré, mais avec Grab, plutôt en scooter qu’en en voiture car la circulation est très dense à Patong le soir, on est à 10 minutes du centre de l’animation. Parfois, ils organisent une sortie au restaurant et dans les bars à Patong, avec tous les clients qui le souhaitent, occasion de passer une soirée très conviviale et de faire connaissance avec les autres résidents. Sinon, un système de boissons à volonté que l’on peut payer au fur et à mesure ou à la fin du séjour avec un frigo bien rempli et un large choix permet de faire comme chez soi 24 heures sur 24. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable, voire incompréhensible, et en plus ils ont des très bons plans pour faire des transferts depuis l’aéroport. 600 baths pour un trajet d’environ une heure, il faut absolument passer par leur prestataire car en Grab ou en taxi, ce serait le double. Enfin, le petit plus, le chat de la maison absolument adorable, qui est en grosse demande de câlins, et que vous pouvez retrouver dans votre chambre sous la couette, dans le placard, ou sur votre transat au bord de la piscine ! Mention spéciale pour le jeune qui travaille avec eux, qui s’occupe de tout avec discrétion, mais qui est très efficace, et aussi un excellent cuisinier !

The pool ! Nice, to swim naked is allowed. A gentle walk takes you into the jungle with a great view point with coffee and good food . Excellent restaurant on walking distance.

Cleaning could be better. Great resort !

Highly Enjoyable Stay

My stay at Phuket Gay Homestay was excellent. Ulf and Nisit really go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and enjoying your time in Phuket. The pool is fantastic for relaxing and socializing with other guests. Breakfast in the morning is also a nice touch. Transportation and food delivery are very easy through the use of several app services. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Phuket.

The mattress was a bit more firm than I normally like, but that's really more of a personal preference. It is also probably time to consider getting new bedding items.

Exceptional

Everything. Particularly Boy and Ulf make this place. Their relaxed attitude and fun mentality make for an amazing stay. They have lots connections in the local community and interaction with the locals was great fun. DO NOT MISS THE POOL PARTY!!

Only change for me would be some more variety at breakfast, although it is a very good breakfast. And there are plenty of places nearby to go to.

Great relaxing place.

I loved the effort that Ulf made to show me around the island, to give me some education about Thailand and allowing me to swap breakfast for lunch as I'm not a big bacon and egg eater. Thanks to Said for his wonderful cooling and for taking me to the shopping centre. Thanks to Boy for taking me to the airport early in the morning on my checkout day. I also loved the outings for bakery treats and coffee that Ulf took me on, even if we DID damage our diets a couple of times. It's worth staying here just for Ulf's kindness alone.

The bed was a little hard for me, having peripheral neuropathy, but the boys did try hard to make it better. No pool (due to the need for repairs) was a little sad but not the end of the world. It's not walking distance to a beach or shopping etc but if you want a break from the world, it's great for that. Take note, as Ulf has said in previous reviews, if you ride a bike without a bike licence from your home country, PLUS an international driver permit, then you aren't legally allowed to ride a motorcycle in Thailand, NOR will your insurance cover you for any accident, damage or liability, let alone medical costs, so be aware.

Superb

The staff was very helpful!!! Good take care good welcome. Thank you so much. The pool was lovely 😁 Good restaurants nearby to choose. Fancy to budget friendly. Also as it's out of Patong so the place is very quiet. Good for relaxing.

From this location it costs $10 for transportation to Patong beach. If you're not alone and there're people to share the cost that won't be a problem. There're cheaper way of transportation as well but won't worth the time to wait.
