Throughly recommend this beautiful spot at Lake Karapiro.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Cambridge. Robyne and Vince are very welcoming and hospitable hosts. They were able to give excellent advice on local restaurants and and it’s was a privilege to stay at their home

Beautiful rural location

Beautiful rural location, only 5 minutes from Cambridge. We stayed in the ruby room which is at the end of the hallway, and I would recommend this as it was away from any noise. Awesome shower, comfortable bed and lovely hosts.

We booked this accommodation for its proximity to Lake Karapiro. The dam road was closed so instead of 3 min drive it took 15 minutes. Disappointed this wasn’t noted in the accommodation details as it had been closed since August (no mention of when it will open).

Awesome hospitality. Comfy bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Nice shampoo soaps etc supplied. Amazing breakfast and lovely hosts

A perfect place to stay for those visiting Hobbiton.

An absolutely lovely and perfect stay for an overnight visit to Hobbiton. Room was lovely, private (and away from the main part of the house), comfortable, with all the amenities one would need (the milk in the fridge for tea was so thoughtful, too). Beds was comfortable, shower/bathroom was clean and very room. Parking was convenient, too. Robyn was a fantastic host, cooked a great breakfast, and provided us with excellent shopping recommendations nearby. Would absolutely recommend and if we're ever stopping back in the area, we'll absolutely stay again.

Beautiful place but with some flaws

Very well maintained room and garden. Nice size bathroom and shower. Most excellent hot breakfast. Very nice hosts.

Not much noise suppression between occupied rooms such that even quiet conversations are heard next door. No microwave in the room.

Relaxing overnight stay in lovely surroundings.

A lovely home in semi rural area, beautiful location. Easy to get to from the main highway. Excellent communication from Robyn. We enjoyed our breakfast, thanks Vince!

Great stay.

Beautiful surroundings. Really well located just outside Cambridge. Very close to Lake Karapiro, and less than 20 minutes from Hobbiton. The bed was comfortable and room and ensuite were a good size. Hosts lovely and breakfast excellent.

The best accommodation in Karapiro/Cambridge and value for money for what you recieve!

One of the best accommodation places we have stayed at around the world!! Hosts Robyn and Vince made us very welcome, and their hospitality was outstanding. The room we selected was excellent, comfortable and really relaxing. And best of all, other than the location in Karapiro, the room, the amenities in the room, the breakfasts, the grounds, the outdoor setting... was THE SHOWER!! It was fantastic. You really haven't experienced a shower until you've stayed at the Karapiro Willows. The area is quiet and relaxing. We can highly recommend Robyn and Vince's property to relax. Value for money. Plenty of parking away from the public road and easy access. Less than 2 minutes to SHW1 and of course the town of Cambridge was a delight! Will definitely make this accommodation our go to place when we are in the Cambridge/Waikato area. Thanks Robyn and Vince! Peter and Cassia

Everything was just perfect !

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Karapiro Willows and thoroughly enjoyed Robyn and Vince's hospitality. The bed was super comfy and the full cooked breakfast was superb ! A lovely spacious home in a great location. A special place that we would certainly revisit.
