Los dueños excelente. Muy buena disposición te ayudan con. Todo lo que necesites.
Un 7 súper recomendado
Todo bien .

Owner was helpful, beds were comfortable with lots of blankets. Bedrooms weee clean. Good location walkable to main sites of Cusco. Owner let us leave luggage in room so easy to pick up later in day. She was helpful when our plans changed.
Bathroom smelled and not clean. No toilet paper.
Kitchen really unclean. I washed a drawer in fridge before I could put food in it. Clothes at sink were too dirty to actually clean dishes.

chambres

The host was super super nice ! She provides a lot of informations , and help us to store our bags when we are in the salkantay trek. Rooms are spacious .
Hot shower for 10 minutes but it’s good enough :) a little bit far from city centre but close to where you can get a bus to start your salkantay trek .
4.1
The owner is very helpful and friendly and always there to answer your questions and give advice which was well received. The room we had was very nice, large and comfortable. Shower was good with good pressure as well. Just to be aware, no water in dry season is normal in Cusco and not just in this hostel, so if you want a shower after a certain time just notify the owner and she will gladly put the water on and its a nice hot shower as well.
The kitchen was cramped and definitely in need of a revamp. The communal area, like the kitchen just needs an update and some tlc. The outside sink on many occasions did have other people's dirty dishes in there which was left, therefore, we were unable to wash ours, sometimes waiting for the next day to clean them.

Ubicación, facilidad de acceso
La habitación era con baño compartido

Me gustó la ubicación del hospedaje y la atención que brindaba la dueña de Ukumari
Un poco de organización faltó en la cocina todo no estaba limpio.

Dona do Hostel super simpática e prestativa, me ajudou mt.
Hostel super sujo e desorganizado, principalmente banheiro e áreas comuns.

Carolina is so kind and friendly and made me feel right at home. She helped me with restaurant recommendations, dollar exchange, getting a taxi at a fair price, etc. The rooms are super cozy and there were plenty of blankets on the bed to stay nice and warm at night.
Nothing :)

Worst hostel ever visited in 6 months of travel.
We booked a room with private bathroom.
What we got instead was a shared bathroom with 5 rooms, dirty, with lots of mold, for the same price.
We couldn't take a shower in the evening after 10 pm. To get hot water in the evening, you have to kindly ask the owner to turn on the heating. The owner systematically turns off the heater after 2 minutes of use. Be quick with your showers, or you'll end up with cold water.
The owner threatened to kick us out of the hostel at 11pm following a dispute over the use of hot water, as I had to come out off the shower naked with my towel, to switch on the heater.
The kitchen is unsanitary and poorly equipped. The gas stove leaks when in use, we finished our breakfast with a headache, impossible to ventilate as there are no windows.
The wifi is unusable at peak times.
In short, this hostel is highly inadvisable if you're visiting Cusco.

Great location, just out of the busy centre, but close enough to walk, plus close to San Pedro market. Large room with comfortable bed, kitchen equipped well enough for cooking some simple meals. Very friendly and helpful owners, who even stored our luggage for days when we went for Salkantay trek. Nice decor and good vibe, a place to meet other travellers.
It's one of those reviews that is very hard to write, as despite all the good things there was one serious 'but'. For most of the day there's no water to flush the toilet and wash hands. I fully support a concept of saving water and energy, but that is simply very unhygenic in a place where bathrooms are shared by many people. We were unlucky to be unwell for a few days of our stay and we were not really leaving the hostel, which means that affected us a lot.
Also, you can only have a hot shower in the morning - in the afternoon you need to ask the owners to switch a pump for you (part of it is located in their apartment, so you can't do it yourself despite what a sign on a wall claims). As long as there's someone in to switch it on for you it's not a problem, but I met several people who were not that lucky.

Very close to the city centre. Carolina the host and owner is super nice, very gentle. Makes you feel right at home. She really does care about her tenants! I liked this hostel so much I booked this 3 times! Very reasonable prices. No complaints!
Everything was perfect!

Carolina is super nice, friendly and attentive definitely a super host. She took care of me even little details. She always asked if I need anything which I felt much appreciated. The hospitality here is exceptional. She was also flexible with check-in time and she allowed me to leave my bags at her place for a couple days which was extremely helpful. Her place is lovely and cozy. The room is pleasant and the water is hot. If I have a chance to come back to Cusco, I’d stay at her place again.
You have to ask the host to turn on hot water for you and there was a problem with water a few times but it was alright and fixable!

when I arrive to hotel, my luggage didn’t arrive and the owner gave me a vest and hygiene products that evening, that was very kind
the location is good
they have a real cleaning problem, there is no water most of the time and hence the toilet wasn’t clean since water flush didn’t work because the one in the below was broken and the one in the upstairs wasn’t working because of the lack of water specifically in the night
Taking shower is another adventure, there is a switch out of the bathroom that you had to turn on and then need to wait for couple of minutes to get hot water. And of course the hotel is cold but I guess it is same everywhere
Also the kitchen area looks very messy and dirty
She also applies a exchange that doesn’t exist in the market, I had two bookings, for the first one she used 3,9 for dollars/soles exchange rate, and for my second booking(3 days later only), 3,75 and the highest in the market was 3,68. At the end the difference is 1-2 euros for each reservation so I didn’t complain but it makes you question about her honesty
Of course any service she offers is more expensive than the average in Cusco
Last thing is about her attitude, although it was already annoying lack of water, and the way shower works, if you say something, she treats you like idiot, she replied at least two times ‘Who told you that?´

Good room, clean and towels provided. The host let us leave the bags for few days while we went to machu Picchu. There is a shared kitchen and shared toilet. Friendly personnel. Very nearby the mercado, bus stops, restaurants and laundry .
You need to ask for help to be able to use the hot shower. From 22h till early morning you can't shower and there can be lack of water in the sink/toilets

What I like most about Ukumari is the hospitality of the hosts Carolina and Ever. They had been gracious and attentive to my needs, always seeking to create a home for guests, rather than just another place to stay. Originally, I had booked 3 nights, but extended it to 2 weeks.
During my time here, the hosts threw a farewell party for some longer-term guests and took a few of us out on outings in Cusco (visiting neighbourhoods and markets). Exploring the city with locals is fruitful when you are a foreigner. I got to try good foods such as papa rellena, escabeche, coriander rice and probably my favourite, picarones. This is not an experience that you will get in typical hostels or elsewhere. I also very much appreciate that they took good care of me when I fell sick. They were also flexible and accommodating with requests.
Ever offers good and well-priced tours to popular destinations, such as Laguna Humantay, Rainbow Mountain, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu by bus. I have enjoyed most of them and can recommend booking them through Ukumari.
Sometimes the water in the bathroom will run out, but just let Carolina know and she will try to resolve it.

Carolina and Ever are very friendly and help you with even things which are not really their job. They are very welcoming and empathic. It feels like family here because they take care of you. By the way their little son is such a cutie pie! :)
Everything was top

10min walk from Plaza de armas, in a quiet street. Ever and Carolina are amazing, they helped us with everything, gave us informations, let us keep the bag there while we went to Machu Picchu and were very flexible about the check-out hours. Rooms are nice and simple, bed are comfy and the wifi works!
Nothing really

The owners are fantastic! Very welcoming, very friendly and really helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to go. The property is in a good location for various attractions in cusco and the place is nice and quiet at night time.

located near San Pedro market, 5-10 minute walk to the various different plazas. Rooms are comfortable, the place is quiet, warm shower, good wifi, incredible value for money, would highly recommend.
Front door took a couple of minutes to understand how to open but the place is really a great place to stay and base yourself in Cuzco
4.1
wonderful place to stay, staff extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me and store bags whilst I was treking

Now I’m a bit unusual and I love a characterful, rustic and odd place to stay, and I found that here. Yes it’s a bit far out of town, the hot water is temperamental, the roof leaks and the bathroom needs some love, but the kindness and attentiveness of the host really makes up for this. I felt like I was at home, I loved my creaky floored room, it was quiet at night, great value for money, and Carolina was always ready for a chat and with hot water in a flask for a cup of tea in bed. Ended up extending my stay and would come again!
It wouldn’t suit those who want to be right in the middle of town, or a very modern and practical hotel, but if you want great atmosphere and a lovely local host, be sure to visit here!

no water no explanation

The property is quiet, clean, and secure. The staff are outstanding and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
The hot water in the shower wasn’t super hot, but was sufficient.

This was a last minute stay. I was happy it turned out great. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was great. I like the fact that they are pet friendly and they even offered us the kitchen. I was very happy with my stay, and I already booked again for when I'm back from Machupicchu. Thanks for the great job.
