Super Relaxante

Muito bem localizado, com uma vista excelente! Há uma grande hospitalidade por parte do Sr Alberto, sempre preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Excelente conceito de pequeno-almoço, servido numa cesta, muito bem servido por sinal, e deixado diariamente à porta do bungalow.

The real hotel feeling with the best view!

What a JOY, we loved everything about it. The delicious breakfast, the great house!! Very nice owners. And what a great view. We even saw dolfines. We will really miss this and will come back some day for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was cozy and the view was amazing. Every morning there was a lovely breakfast basket in front of our door, prepared with care by the very accommodating family who runs this place. Even their cat was friendly. It was our first stay at the Azores, and we're probably spoiled now, this place was that good! Definitely would book this again!

The host gives you a very good tour of what the concept is, after this welcome speech everything is clear. You have a stunning view. Once you exit the property, you have a very nice 270° viewpoint and a very nice walking route towards the closest village.

Beds could be better, but I guess that's user preference. In our aspect they where very hard.

Amazing experience at a fair price

The hosts created something unique, that's not just an accomodation but an experience itself! The lodges are great on it's own, but Alberto elevates the hospitality to the next level - breakfast from locally-sourced products delivered daily, great tips and help on getting around, and very pleasurable surrounding. Everything is well-thought and provided with guests in mind. Add the amazing view, fast wifi, and scenic yard where you can hang out to the mix - it's deifinitely an exceptional place!

Can't say a bad thing about the stay, even trying very hard to come up with something.

This property is in a really nice location. Alberto is a wonderful host. Like others have said the accommodation is small, but it has everything you need. I would compare it with a cruise. Small cabin, but the ocean view makes up for it, and Alberto has thought of everything to make it comfortable. The picnic basket breakfast was exceptional.

Magnífico!!

It was our first hotel on a two weeks trip through Azores and it’s our favourite. We didn't expect such a wonderful experience. Incredible view into the ocean and the Ilhéu das Cabras, cosy bungalow, amazing breakfast, served in a picnic basket left outside the room, the warm welcome, privacy and tranquillity. We fell in love with this charming place in Porto Judeu village. It’s also a good location to listen the funny noises of Cagarros, a seabird that resides in the cliffsides of the Azores. You can reach the village and the restaurants by following a beautiful walking path by the sea. We definitely recommend ALLuar Lodge and Terceira island!!

Staff and owner are very friendly and willing to continue improvements. The views onto the sea and the promenade to the village are wonderful. Very peaceful environment. Convenient driving distance to the airport (Lages), the capital (Angra) and inland attractions. Breakfast basket was nicely presented too.

The bungalows are located in the family residence garden, around a nice swimming pool, good privacy and wonderful views. However, the bungalows themselves are quite limited in size, especially if you bring more than one big suitcase. They are intended to provide all the necessary for self catering (kitchenette, fridge) but that compromises wardrobe space. The owner is aware and trying to resolve that.

Very nice accommodation with the perfect view and nice breakfast! Alberto was a very friendly and thoughtful host. He even picked me up in downtown Angra to make it easier for me to get to the lodge! He also offered me a nice mountain bike to use for a tour across the island! THANKS AGAIN!!

Superb

A number of individual cabins spread around a pool give privacy in a wonderful location. While not large, they provide enough space and all amenities. Our hosts were great, providing a wonderful breakfast picnic basket according to our wishes. They even lent us bikes for a ride along the coast, which was great.

in a beautiful spot, right next to a mirador. nice views of the ocean and owner is super nice and accommodating.

be prepared for a mini accommodation. we had one of the larger units, but it was really small. no place to put luggage. if you are on a short trip and don’t had a lot of luggage, this wouldn’t be a problem, but we were on a long trip and had a bunch of gear. it was tight.

Incredible Sea View!

This is the place to go if you want to be surrounded by nature, the beautiful sea, the quiet night. We had one of the small units but with the 180 degree ocean view it felt huge! The picnic basket breakfast was the perfect way to start our days here. We also enjoyed walking the very short distance to the Rocha snack bar for dinner. We weren't able to get into the restaurant but instead had VERY good hamburgers and even better craft beer outside on the patio while talking to several local people. Our favorite swimming location was suggested by Alberto and was only a few minutes away. We also had an incredible meal at another restaurant he suggested, Beira Mar. We were very comfortable in our room (good A/C to use when the sea breezes abated) and enjoyed talking with Alberto, seeing his "motorcycle bar" and sitting by the pool. We really loved this place and hope to return.

It was great!!!

Alberto is a very caring, welcoming and attentive owner. We stayed in a family two bedroom bungalow. It was very comfortable and clean and if needed there is a small kitchen with everything you need. The bungalow has a balcony and a terrace. Excellent well-groomed hotel territory, amazing ocean views. This was our first hotel on a three week trip to the Azores. And we just fell in love with Terceira Island. We'd like to come back. Thank you Alberto!

A gem, not to be missed.

Everything is delightful about the lodge. The warm welcome, the breakfast baskets filled with local food, the shared area with books, the salt water pool. The view is stunning, the bungalows are arranged with care so that you will be very comfortable. The hosts look after you and will assist you in your needs and questions. I travelled around the Acores and this is one of my top stays without a doubt - a rare find. I would love to go back! try it!

Dream location...a real paradise!!!

A view to die for. The host Alberto was very kind... provided information on restaurants and visit locations. The facilities were excellent and everything was as it should have been . For the partner the bed was a little small but very comfortable. Would have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely rebook for our next trip to Terceira.
