Exceptional

We loved our stay at the Barn. Love the location, the view, the fire place and the outdoor area. Great kitchen set up as well.

Pleasant

wifi was not working. restart did not fix the issue. the sky cable was also not working at the start, had to debug and restart to make it work. didn’t have lighter and newspapers for the log burner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the outlook and the facilities.

The Barn is great for families and is in a terrific location overlooking Lake Tekapo.

Nice place, not clean.

Great parking and house size was great.

It was not very clean. The downstairs shower was broken and alot of mould. It was a lovely house but I felt it needed a good spring clean and a diffuser.

Apart from the issues listed above this did not effect our stay at The Barn. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location. Great view of Lake.

Shower head in main bathroom needed replacing as it was broken Dishwasher was full from previous renters and not washed. A child lock had been activated on the dishwasher and took sometime to solve the problem. Could also use a scourer in the kitchen as the pots were not clean from being washed in dishwasher.

Great location - more or less across the road from the lake. Walking distance to town. Information folder full of useful info - where to eat, visit etc during our stay. Well appointed kitchen. A very nice place to stay.

disappointed with the overall lack of some basic equipment

Tekapo was terrific

Disc golf course across road. Close to town Friendly wildlife Great star gazing

Moon was too bright 🤣 Second story roof line a bit low TV for the lounge needed streaming services.

Wish it was my holiday home.

The view and having everything provided. So relaxing. We had the best time and would differently book this place again.

Just that the outdoor seats were cracked and we didn't want to sit in the middle in case it broke. Maybe an outdoor umbrella would be good for hot days

Basic Accommodation

The location and view were nice.

The TV in the bedroom upstairs was older than me so didn't work, there were no extra blankets or pillows that I could find, electric blankets on the bed would've been nice with it being in Tekapo and how cold it gets and the information folder was outdated. The plug hole in the upstairs bathroom was slow draining so I unscrewed it to pull it out, it was quite gross. I've stayed in nicer for less money.

Wonderful.

The house was very clean, and well equiped, and the view was beautiful. We were a big family group and there was enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. Its nice and close to the township, and did I mention the view! We really appreciated being able to have a late check-out, since we had older folk with us, and it was so nice not to hurry them along in the morning.

It would have been good to have another 2 beds in the upstairs childrens area.

Wanted to stay longer and enjoyed the view from the livingroom.

Great water view from livingroom and yard. All the kitchen pots and utensils were provided so we were able to cook all the meal during stay. Very spacious rooms. Loved very strong water pressure for shower. Google Chrome Cast.

The mattresses were too soft so when my partner move, I can feel his movement. The rooms were not properly cleaned as when I touched the surface of the shelve in the room, white dust settled on my fingers.

Space, position, view, facilities, easy helpful text communication

Hair/dirty finger marks downstairs shower, fireplace full and no way to light. Dishwasher left full of unclean dishes.
