Gemütlich und erholsam, aber nicht vier Sterne

Die Unterkunft bietet in ruhiger Lage einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht vor Hout Bay und die sie umgebenden Berge. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich, das Frühstück wirklich gut. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig.

Der Zahn der Zeit hat hier und da schon kräftig an der Substanz genagt. Es ist unter dem Strich immer noch gemütlich, wenn man nicht so genau hinsieht. Dem gebuchten, großen Zimmer würde eine Renovierung guttun.

Kein Personal verfügbar nach einchecken, dies nur telefonisch erreichbar , zunächst kein fließendes Wasser , Pool eher unsauber aussehend

Beautiful

We loved our stay here. It is such a beautiful location. The stay was so lovely, with welcoming staff who accommodate young children very well. The room was spacious and breakfast each morning was a treat. Would love to stay here again some day.

Tranquility and pefect view combined.

"It's all about the view" is the motto and it's true.

Apart from the regular loadshedding, the wifi reception in the room I had was not always good.

Enjoy the nature in SA West Cape

The place is amazing, and the hosts are great people, very friendly and helpful. The room we booked was immense, almost an entire apartment with a spectacular view and a huge terrace. The bed was very comfy, and we slept very well there. The breakfast was super good and with multiple choices. Totally recommend this place.

The views are incredible and it’s very quiet.

Some maintenance issues but it’s understandable with a property this age and size.

A good last minute find but not perfect.

The location was quiet, the view from room 2 was amazing. Breakfast was nice but sausage was cold to luke warm at best, the bacon and eggs were obviously cooked to order but sausage could have been kept hotter. The bed was very comfortable, nice to have two different sized pillows a thinner one and a fluffier one to mix and match. Overall a nice stay. A few negatives below...

Staff could have been more attentive, we were asked if we wanted the beds separated like the guy had never seen or met a gay couple before which made us feel a little uncomfortable. On two mornings the milk wasn't replaced in our room for coffee. The room was tidy but not spotlessly clean by any means, showing it's age and a bit grubby around the edges in my opinion. If you're a nervous driver or not good on hills, avoid the property as parking is tight.

Amazing place to stay….. very highly recommended.

wonderful location. fantastic accommodation. stunning views! outstanding breakfast! Brilliant hosts and the shared areas eg pool , residents lounge etc were beautiful! We liked it sooo much we went back and stayed longer! Hout Bay brilliant location to explore the area.
