Light up your vacation with our Wasabi home! We only book 12 weeks out of the year so that our home stays in better condition for the renters to come. Better air quality new dual air purification system 2021. New Luggage and grocery lift 2021. Also new carpet and life proof floors through out December 2022, Freshly painted 2015 A beautiful 3 story cottage, built in 2009, that will fit all your vacation needs with 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, new outside shower2019, hot tub (that seats 7), lounge chairs, private concert in ground pool (12' x 24'), WiFi, and indoor/ outdoor surround sound Tiki bar new 2015. Start off your mornings early by enjoying the sunrise on the ocean side decks or inclosed screened porch, and end your days watching the sunset while the lighthouse lights up the night sky.As you are enjoying dinner. Our design with you in mind!
Top (third) level: stunning 360 views of the Ocean, Sound, and Lighthouse! Wrap around porch with screened in dining area. Surround sound inside and outside SPEAKERS with Bluetooth capabilities. Watch a movie inside while others enjoy the view and music outside lounging on the (patio) seating/ lounge chairs and high boy table and chairs all hand made by the Bryants . Large flat screen TV with plenty of seating. With a kitchen fit for a chef! We have provided you with every cooking/ serving amenity, spacious countertops, and great appliances for your cooking needs updated late 2015. With 3 dining areas there is enough room for everyone to enjoy a meal comfortably. We have built a custom large table that sits 10 and is the perfect place to enjoy the sun setting over the sound. There is also a table on this level that seats four that is great for the kids or people that would like a separate space for internet access, but that's not all there is also a screened in porch that seats 12 also hand made! There is a half bathroom on this level. In the grand master bedroom we have provided a sleeping beauty pillow top mattress that will have you sleeping on clouds and waking up in heaven every day. Room access to screened in porch as well as large private bathroom.
Middle (second) level: This level has an extensive wrap around deck that can be accessed by every room. The middle level porch has a hammock, swings, and a great view. TWO master KING bedrooms with sleeping beauty pillow top mattresses and private baths. The third bedroom contains two twin Tempur-Pedicbunk bunk beds that share a bathroom with the fourth bedroom that contains a Tempur-Pedic pyramid bunk bed (twin over full). Laundry area with washer and dryer ( ironing board and iron as well).
Bottom (first) level: You can also enjoy eating outside on the bottom level because we have provided TWO picnic tables, a newly added 2015 tiki bar Off the pool With hand made bar stools and granite tops, and two grills (a gas and a charcoal). With lounge chairs you can relax by the pool and get the perfect tan. Don't forget to bring your basketball so that you can shoot some hoops! There is also an outdoor shower which is perfect for cleaning up after a long day. Catch a lot of fish today? We have built a custom filet station with granite by the Bryants on this level as well! Don't feel like going to the beach? Stay home and enjoy the pool and hot tub which both have lights for nighttime (they change colors too)! The fun doesn't stop here though on this level we also have indoor/ outdoor speakers with Bluetooth capabilities again! Play a game of pool in our game room and show off your pool shark skills! There is also a hand painted sushi shark and logos in this room... Yeah we made it that much cooler, just for you! We have also provided ping pong, darts, and a bar with mini fridge on this level! Kingsdown pillow top mattress on our bottom level king bed and believe me you will be in heaven when you hit the sheets. This room also has a bathroom and access to the porch as well.

This listing exceeded all of our expectations! This is our third year renting a home in the Outer Banks and this house was easily the best so far. The house is beautiful and so well maintained. It was so clean and bright and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all in excellent condition. The kitchen was a bit on the smaller side but it opened up into a huge eating area and living space with beautiful views.
The game room was so much fun with pool and ping pong and because it was elevated it was nice and dry! The pool area, hot tub, outdoor shower, Tiki bar and yard space were beautiful and well cared for. It was truly a vacation oasis. The proximity to the beach was great and the walk to a stunning and never crowded beach was easy. The host Mandy was so quick and helpful with communication. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

This was our first year to vacation in the Outer Banks and it was one to remember! Wasabi is the perfect house for a family trip as it literally has something for everyone. The house's location, pool, game room, bedrooms, kitchen..... I could go on and on about all the great things this house has to offer. Our only regret.....not knowing about this gem years ago.ago.

Wasabi has been the best beach house our family has stayed. We loved the location, so close to the off road beach access and a great neighborhood. Owners were very quick and responsive regarding questions or issues. The house was super clean and well put together for an entire family’s needs, including the dogs! They had an outdoor oasis for adults, kids, and pets. They had games, cards, toys, Wii, and activities for everyone. We didn’t need anything else when cooking in the kitchen, they even had a spice cabinet. We enjoyed it so much the first day that we went ahead and booked for next year. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for an incredible beach stay!

We stayed at Wasabi for a family reunion vacation, and it was wonderful! The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool, hot tub, and ping pong table after our daily beach trip. Mandy was great throughout!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the out door space. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think a kitchen should have and more. The luggage lift was a great perk. The walk to the beach was easy. A great place if you are looking for a relaxing vacation and enjoying time with the family.

We had the best time at the Wasabi house! It’s located perfectly in between the ocean and the sound. Every morning we wake up and go walk our dog on the sound and it would just be us out there. We hit the pool during the day and walk the beach at night. It was my son’s first vacation. He turned seven months there and his first time in a pool, and he absolutely loved it! The owners were very prompt and responsive. Kitchen had everything you would possibly think of to cook. Beds were very comfortable. The second porch was a hit with all the swings. We had a great time and will be returning.

My family stayed at the Wasabi house which my Grand daughter calls the Barbie house because of the pink on the house. We couldn't have asked for more, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need, the luggage & grocery lift was a great idea, plenty of seating for everyone in the dining area and living room. The beds were very comfortable and the pool table, ping pong table, pool and hot tub were a very big hit for the kids as well as the adults. The house is a short walk to beach with outdoor showers to wash off sand. Mandy responded very quickly with any concerns. Thank you Mandy & family for sharing your beautiful house.

This property had a great location. Away from the noises of the street but close enough to walk to the beach and drive to popular destinations. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so each couple had thier own privacy. Pool and fenced in yard is a great set up.

We had a great stay at Wasabi House. The home is a great size for family vacations, it easily accommodated our family of 14 without us ever feeling cramped. We appreciated having 4 king size beds for the adult couples and all the beds were comfortable. We were all pleasantly surprised when we saw the inside in person, it was better than the pictures!
We didn't swim as much as we thought we would. The pool was a little chilly and covered in shade by around 4pm, it was a pretty breezy week we were there though and it didn't stop the kids. Having the hot tub as another option was great. We also enjoyed some of the other amenities. We had a fire pit one night and we got a lot of family time around the pool table. The house is in a good location with a short drive to the grocery, farmer's market, and many restaurants. Also not a bad drive to Hatteras to see the lighthouse and where several family members took the ferry to Ocracoke Island.
My favorite areas to relax were on the decks. The top deck has great views and breeze and also a screened in porch which was perfect for games and ice cream. The middle deck has 2 swings and a hammock perfect for relaxing and hanging out. Side note, there are several stairs in these types of homes if that is difficult for you.
Mandy was quick to respond to any questions. We appreciate you letting us stay in your home and bringing our 4-legged family members with us. We would rent again and recommend to anyone looking for great vacation home.

The house was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and being able to spread out. The walk to the beach was a bit difficult with the kids and all the coolers, chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. We did have a wagon, but trying to haul it up the stairs over the dunes would have been impossible without two strong people. We ended up driving and parking just up the road for easier beach access. All in all, everyone had a great time, and we enjoyed our first big family vacation together in six years.

Great house for extended family vacations. We loved our stay. The only thing we could improve is adding a metal shelf in kitchen, next to fridge, to put food on. We had to use all the counter space for our food. We bought truck passes to drive onto the beach. The entrance is very close to the house. Makes beach days very easy.

It will be very good as soon as soon as we get our refundable damage deposit.
We got our refundable damage deposit 16 days after check out. After contacting vrbo I found out that they release the deposit in 14 days if there is no damage claim. I suggest the owner contact vrbo as soon as they know there will be no claim made so the process can be expedited.

A block from the beach. Great back yard with beautiful pool and tiki bar. All bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable, spacious and high end. Kitchen/great room was the best with great views. Favorite spot was the 3rd level deck outside of the great room for an after dinner drink with a shady warm breeze. Location was very nice and private. What would I improve? Absolutely nothing.

We had a great time!!! The house was amazingggg! We loved the character and the amenties the home provided. The pool and hot tub was clean and beautiful to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable!
Mandy was great with communicating with us and assisting us where needed. The wifi was very slow but we assumed it was because it was 15 of us on devices and streaming. The weather was great and it only rained at night while we were sleeping 🙌.
We would definitely recommend the home if you like the Avon area. This was our first time in Avon because we normally stay in Corolla or Duck. I will say the only activities in the area were water sports so if that’s what you’re interested in then it will work. The restaurants were great and the food was delicious.

This house is in a great area mins from the beach. Plenty of space for everyone and not feel on top of people. Decks are beautiful and the game room hot tub and pool were perfect for after a long day at beach.

This house was perfect for the large group we had travveling with is. Each bedroom was perfect, comfy beds and nice big bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with miscellaneous things most beach houses dont have. Plenty of games in the game room, plus the pool table, made for lots of entertainment. The hot tub, the pool, and the tiki bar were all amazing and we used them every single day. The outdoor stereo system was exceptional and allowed us to listen to music in the pool/hot tub. The outdoor shower was the perfect way to rinse off after a day at the beach. The walk to the beach took not even 5 minutes so we didnt have to drive if we didnt want to. Overall, it was the best house ive ever stayed at in the Outer Banks.

Me and 9 friends stayed for a week for vacation and couldn't have been happier! Highly recommend this house to anyone looking in the Avon area. It's super cute and everything is close by. Everything about the house was perfect for our very large family. Space to congregate and enjoy each other’s company and space if you wanted a little quiet time. The pool was a lifesaver on hot days and the game room was definitely the hang out area. It could use more pantry space as there really isn’t anywhere to put dry goods other than on the counter or table. Other than that, this house is definitely worth it to rent. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

We just stayed at Wasabi to celebrate our parent's 50th anniversary. It was amazing! The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach. The pool was a big hit as well. All the conveniences you could possibly want, comfortable for the 12 of us, and so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The pictures don't do enough to show how amazing this home is! And the Bryant's were a pleasure to deal with! Don't hesitate to book this absolte gem!

We had an amazing time at Wasabi! We love the outer banks and this was our first time in Avon. Access to the beach was easy because we had a truck that we were able to drive on to the beach. If you don't have that capability, be prepared for a 5 minute walk (the parking lot to the beach entrance was closed). The waves were very strong in Avon so we didn't get to swim in the ocean as much as we typically would. The house was gorgeous and clean. There was one issue on the balcony, but the owner drove down right away the next morning and got it fixed. The owners were very attentive and responsive to needs (we didn't have many). The kitchen was stocked but there wasn't much room to keep food (no pantry or cabinet space). The pool and hot-tub were very nice. However, the layout of the house only allowed for direct sunlight over the entire pool for the morning. The pool was in the shade in the afternoon. We couldn't seem to get the outdoor speakers to work but that could have been user error. One other thing to mention is that the mosquitos in Avon or terrible. Also, my brother-in-law left his glasses and the owners shipped them back immediately! Aside from a few things (mostly out of ours or the owners control), we had an amazing time and will definitely consider returning in the future. Thanks Wasabi!

Family vacation 2022
Thank you so much to the Bryant's. We very much enjoyed our family time together at The Wasabi! There were so many wonderful memories made at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed to enjoy family meals and family time! I especially loved the mattresses! We all did! I think everyone came home wanting to purchase a Sleeping Beauty Pillow Top! Another wonderful added touch was the carpet! So much easier on the knees when using steps!!! It's the little things! Games a plenty, movies, and stocked kitchen! The beach was a short distance away. Some of us walked and some of us drove right onto the beach! The owners are very quick to respond to any needs, questions,or concerns. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely home owned by caring people.

The homes pool and hot tub are very welcomed experiences after a long day at the beach- jump into the outside shower to remove sand/ sunblock/ salt then on to enjoying the pool!!

Wonderful Vacation
We had a wonderful stay!! The house is absolutely beautiful. The decor is very inviting and has a beach vibe. The views from the upper deck are a great way to start the day. The cargo elevator was a great bonus!! The house had many activities to keep us all entertained…some of our family never even made it to the beach. I would definitely stay again!!

Wasabi was amazing on every level! We enjoyed our first family vacation together there and would love to come back for our next trip to Avon. The house offered plenty of room to spread out for our large family to relax and enjoy each other and it's only a short walk to the beach. The house was beautiful, clean and uniquely decorated. Great Vacation
This is going down as one of our best vacations we ever had. This was the first prolonged period of time that my family and in-laws spent under one roof. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The Wasabi house played a major role in that! The pool, tiki bar, pool table, dart board, well stocked kitchen and proximity to the beach created the perfect atmosphere for fun. I have to give a shout out to the owner because the outdoor refrigerator needed to be replaced, within a few hours we had a brand new one hooked up and ready to go! Couldn’t have asked for more.
The Wasabi House was great, I wish we spent more then just 7 days there. We would definitely come back for another vacation!

Warm and inviting home close to walk on beach access and drive on beach access. Outdoor area was great: nice pool bar, two grills and outdoor sink were so convenient.
The outdoor shower with dual rain shower heads was awesome. Hammock was relaxing bonus and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a great place to stay.
