Fijn verblijf

Appartement was heel schoon. We hebben een fijne ontvangst gehad van de eigenaar. Goede loopafstand naar het centrum en restaurants. Savond voelde je ook veilig om naar het appartement terug te lopen.

Lovely house, beautifully and carefully refurbished. Spotless clean. All equipment new and in perfect order. It is even better than the photos and description. The hostess provided all necessary information and remained available throughout our stay.

This would be hard to beat

We loved everything about this property. On a quiet street a few steps from the old town. Renovated traditional house with tasteful modern interior and delightful enclosed courtyard, retaining the typical front door. Air-conditioning, 2 bathrooms. The owner was super-helpful and really quick to respond. Perfect café for breakfast on the corner with pavement tables and chairs. I’d say one of our best stays yet.

The owner was very kind , our arrival was in the morning and we could leave the luggage in the house untill it was cleaned, Bertina was very kind she helped us with everything we asked. The house was very nicely renewed , with all the technic to feel comfortably, and it was so nice, we loved it.

Bertina was an incredible host who was welcoming, friendly and gave us a variety of local recommendations for food and sightseeing. The house was clean, well presented, and in a central location. There were excellent facilities and the house was lovely to come back to after a day out!

Great apartment and location

Brilliant location just outside the walls of the old town, with a lovely cafe on the corner, which is a great spot for breakfast. Apartment was comfortable and well equipped and the host was great!

The only minor issue was that the shower in the showeroom was very small and bath was difficult to use without getting soaked by the shower.

Excellent property and lovely host!

We loved 'everything' about Casa da Mouraria - its Portuguese character, the beautiful front door (which we loved looking at from the inside too), the crispy white embroidered sheets on the very comfortable bed, the balcony outside the bedroom where we watched the world go by, the Moorish-style courtyard outside, the beautiful table near the sofa, etc etc. Bertina is an excellent host, who went above and beyond with all the extra little touches she has put into this house, which she has so thoughtfully re-designed. The house is in the perfect location in the historical part of Faro. We can't wait to return soon again! Thanks very much, Bertina! Liz & Richard

Beautifully designed, and so well thought out! Perfect location, very reasonable, light, bright and very clean. Absolutely wonderful! We cannot wait to come back!

Superb apartment with an excellent location and helpful host

There were 3 x AC units. The place was very clean. It also had a back yard for airing towels, cloth or having breakfast. a great place with a very helpful and nice host.

It would have been great if the property had a washing machine too. Perhaps something to consider for future.

A really clean modern property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Carlos was there to meet us and gave us all the important local info we needed as well as WhatsApping us loads of information about all the great things you can do in Faro! Best holiday ever, such a great location for seeing what the city has to offer
