Very relaxing and comfortable.

Lovely peaceful location and surroundings with a beautiful pool and spa pool to use. Comfortable bed and nice decor. Claire the host was so friendly and helpful.

Some road noise at peak times.

Een van de beste verblijven op het Noordereiland

De rust, de ontzettend lieve en gastvrije eigenaren, het zwembad en de jacuzzi. Eigenlijk was alles geweldig! De kamer is modern maar gezellig, alles heel schoon en tv met Netflix is handig. Badkamer supermooi en fijn. Het terras (wij zaten bij de ingang) is heel privé, je hoort de vogels terwijl je geniet van de natuur. Locatie is top, vlakbij het plaatsje en strand en goede uitvalsbasis voor leuke dagtrips. Hadden er graag nog langer willen blijven!

Fabulous :)

Clare was an incredible host & the property is everything you need for a great holiday for a family or a couple. The lounge area, spa & swimming pool were an amazing bonus. Clare so kindly cleaned our room for us while we were away all day & restocked the toilet, towels & fridge with essentials. It was so hospitable & we were taken care of. She was also very generous and flexible to let us stay for an extra night with short notice. High recommend this property!

Mini resort feels, extremely comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful hosts.

it was super clean and Clare was helpful and attentive. we arrived quite late however she was still more then happy to show us around and even how to get the spa pool up and ready. We had fresh towels daily and the bed and linens were very nice.

There was no hot chocolate :( but honestly it was perfectly fine as we had many coffee and tea options.

Clare is lovely and very welcoming with information about the area, suggestions of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our patio. Being outside of town was peaceful, and still easy to get to everything.

Fantastic little getaway up in the native trees. I was doing my wedding prep there & it was perfect.

Location was perfect for this trip. Room was beautiful and fresh. Lovely setting up in the trees. Pool area overlooking the golf course, very pleasant.

Bit more traffic noise as only one road open at moment.

Fabulous self contained unit.

Location, cleanliness, welcome-all great. Spa and swimming pool were a bonus. Was close to traffic but nothing disturbing. BBQ provided, but we didn’t use it. Backs onto another unit but no issues. Super friendly host.

Quiet, comfortable, relaxing and refreshing.

It’s private but has a good location. The host is really accommodating and welcoming. We’ve stayed there multiple times. Highly recommended. The pool, spa, comfortable bed and a nice room. We love this place.

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing getaway.

We loved this place. We stay at hotels and airbnbs fairly often and I have to say this was one of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time. Clare was very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The BBQ is really handy and there is a great area to enjoy your meal and have a couple of drinks outside. The bathroom is really spacious and the bed is comfortable with Netflix on the TV. We hope to visit again. Thanks for having us.

Definitely recommend

It was a really nice peaceful relaxing spot. Lovely owner, only 2 units so plenty of privacy, very clean, better than the photos.

The only thing I could fault, and was hard to find any, was just a box of tissues would be useful but otherwise very comfortable and everything you need.

This place was a little paradise. Spacious units and we had everything we need. Our host were lovely and had great knowledge of the area. It has a pool and a spa. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

The nicest people!

Clare and Ralph were the nicest people you will find! Whatever we needed, they made sure we got it. They respected our privacy and wouldn't even knock on the door to leave stuff behind when we were in the lodge! Just one text to Clare and she would answer you ASAP and try to fulfil all your wishes!

Hidden gem in the beautiful Whangamata

Nice, open studio Super soft bed Facilities super close Nicely laid out bathroom set up Loved that the units were named after native birds Loved the owners, they were very accommodating and welcoming which made the booking smooth and easy

Amazing Kiwi Lodge definitely lives up to the AMAZING!! Carol was an exceptional host. The room was just perfect for my husband and I. Very clean and peacefully quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and most definitely will be back again 😊 Highly recommend.
