Exceptionnel

Ann est une personne très accueillante et charmante. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et il y en a pour tous les goûts. L’endroit est calme et paisible avec vue sur le Loch.

Enjoyed a short one night stay in this lovely house, with huge breakfast, close to town centre.

Lovely house, close to pubs and restaurants. Parking at the house. Very friendly host. Huge enjoyable breakfast. Convenient self check in.

LOVELY LITTLE GUEST HOUSE WITH AN AMAZING BREAKFAST

Charming little guest house, beautifully decorated with lots of individual touches, our room was spotless with a very comfy bed, and had all we needed. Breakfast was wonderful, freshly prepared and served by Ann, much better than many adequate hotel breakfasts. Ten out of ten plus for the lovely breakfast which was served to us at Gowan Brae. A good place to stay. 😄

Highly recommend Gowan Brae to other visitors.

Anne our host was fantastic because of her local knowledge, willingness to assist us with our special needs and her overall friendly personality.

The towels were not absorbent.

Lovely friendly lady looked after us. A wealth of knowledge about the area.

The breakfast was excellent, could not ask for more.

Bed was uncomfortable. The mattress had hollows in it.

Absolutely marvelous stay!

Ann was a marvelous host. Beautiful breakfast choices. Gorgeous view to the loch. Nicely appointed room.

A bit uphill from the bus station so we took a taxi as it was raining. No complaints at all.

Charming home in a beautiful setting!

The place was clean, quiet , very comfortable bed & we had a great night's sleep. Our full Scottish breakfast was delicious. The location was great, short walk from the train station & easy walking to the town center. The neighborhood is very nice & the view is so pretty.

Lovey room, lovely views, lovely host

We stayed in room 2, which was light and airy and very clean. The ensuit was lovely with nice toiletries supplied, and it too was very clean. We had a superb breakfast with a good selection of cereals and cooked food offered, along with fruit, yoghurts, and beverages. Our room had a lovely view of Loch Linne and the mountains. We couldn't have been looked after better than we were at Gowan Brae

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Friendly and helpful host. Cosy and comfortable room. Hearty and filling breakfast.

Its a bit of a walk uphill from the railway station - best to get a taxi if you have luggage.

Lovely B&B, very clean and well situated.

This B&B was very clean and comfortable, and I'd definitely come back. The breakfast was also very large and delicious. I had a great stay and the view is really lovely too.

Lovely B&B with great location and breakfast

Our stay was lovely and I would definitely go back. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great location too, had a beautiful view to the loch from our window and only a few minute walk to the centre.

Lovely place to stay

Great location, 5 minutes from the Centre , lovely and quiet, we didn't have breakfast as we were out early for a train but Ann made us a lovely packed lunch each, Sue my partner is Vegan and Gluten Intolerant and that was not a problem either. We will be back.

so comfy !

Everything was perfect , the room is comfortable , the house is very comfy and we feel like home , the breakfast is delicious ( and very big ) and the host is the kindest ! loved the little intention . We will definitely go back if we have to stay in Fort William .

Highly recommended for friendly professional hosts, absolutely brilliant breakfast and location

We really loved this accommodation from start to finish. Ann is so lovely and friendly, and superbly professional. Amongst so many highlights, the breakfast is sensational both in terms of quality and volume. The view across the loch is sensational. The towels are probably the softest in the world. The bedroom was very well kitted out and very clean. We parked just across the street and the setting could not be better as down a few steps is the pier and the high street. highly recommend this guest house to anybody visiting the town.

There was nothing that we did not like.

Exceptional

It was close to the town centre and was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and it's a shame that I was leaving too early to have it on my second day but the pack up was much appreciated.

The steps up from the town can be a little bit of a challenge especially when you're tired but there's not much that can be done about that :D

Perfect tranquility and accomodation

Absolutely gorgeous house , extremely comfy and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the host , Ann , who paid attention to small details that others miss. Close to town and all facilities and parking too . Beautiful views and hope to return again in the future.
