Average, poor food, but decent staff save for the Residence Reception Manager that let the side down

The location (outside San Teodoro but close to facilities) is good and the hotel is adjacent to a lovely beach.

The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), buffet style, was abysmally poor. Low quality, poor choice, badly cooked and often left cooling (for hot food) and getting warm/not refrigerated (for cold food). The provision outside of restaurant serving hours was shambolic - four microwaved pasta dishes, crips or packet ice cream. The staff are generally all exceptionally good, friendly and helpful. However, the gentleman that was running the Residence Reception (not hotel reception) was exceptionally rude, discourteous and inhospitable. Even came to my room on the last day, with no 'good morning' or 'hello', just simply, 'we need your room back, give me the keys' and 'you are late with your payment' (of which I was not). This gentleman needs to move on from the hotel group, as such attitude cannot be retrained and is brining the entirety of the hotel down and certainly, has meant that I will never return to the property.

-swimming pool -restaurant -nice and big room with balcony

-food in restaurant is okay but not good - you have to wear a swimming cap in pool -not in town -beach in front of the property isn't nice

not internationally focused, all in Italian too much noice (music) in the parc in the evenings no breads to purchase on the parc

Walking (15min) distance to Isuledda beach along the dune

Cala d’Ambra (closest to the hotel) is not good for swimming. Only sun tanning
