Both Stef & Rob Randall are wonderful hosts. They care about making the stay a meaningful experience. Both Gloria and I look forward to our next travels to S.A and once again spending time at A La Folly.

Warm, inviting and wonderfull host.

It was so lovely to sit on the front veranda looking over the gardens and have our breakfast delivered to us, thanks Steph the happy faces on the fresh pancakes was a nice surprise and very fresh orange juice.

Overall great night stay at this lovely bed and breakfast.

Relaxing solitude

Breakfast was beautifully presented pancakes and juice and I ordered a cooked breakfast as well. Stars on the ceiling, birdsong and sitting on the verandah. The French/aussie vibe with lovely art pieces

A gem by the river

A La Folly is beautifully situated on the Murray River and boasts cosy furnishings as well as a lovely garden. The whole interior shows that someone has invested time and effort to create a gem of an accommodation. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and arrival and departure are hassle-free.

The location near the river attracts mosquitoes. Fly screens and a few filled gaps in the walls could help the problem.

Amazing in all aspects, friendly host, comfy beds , gorgeous old charm cottage, set among lovely gardens overlooking water.Great price & with a beautiful breakfast.Would totally recommend.

Lovely. Would stay again.

The view from the deck was beautiful. And we liked the quirky nature if the venue was very cool.

The bed was close to collapse. I had to push the beams back together to stabilise it enough to last the night.

Cottage and bed were quaint, comfortable and clean. It was interesting to be able to see how the flood had impacted the area. The owner gave good instructions on how to get there. It is good to be able to support a small business in Murray Bridge.

The shower is not really right for the space and hard to manage the shower head. The place is little way out of town.

Relaxing hidey hole only an hour from Adelaide a, great place to escape for a quiet break.

A La Folly is currently overlooking the flooded River Murray and the views from the table outside our room are amazing.

The quirky features in the room and surrounds of the accommodation.

Not so keen on a shared bathroom facilities, but it worked okay for us in summer weather. Wouldn't be so pleasant in colder weather conditions.

Exceptional

A La Folly is a paradise if you’re an artist! Every nook and corner of this place is beautiful, quirky, charming and inspiring. We had such a wonderful stay and the host Stef is so humble and caring. Even the food she made for us was with such care and detail, with flowers and herbs and flavours. She even shared one of her French recipes that I loved the most. All in all, we enjoyed the magical quiet summer days in the countryside with the animals, birds and beautiful people. We will be definitely coming back to this little paradise!

the Host is so lovely and we really enjoyed all the small details in the decoration in and around the room. just super sweet!

one of the best I’ve had especially travelling with animals. The packed lunch provided was generous and much appreciated
