Super Lage (zentral), sehr nette Mitarbeiterinnen, großzügige Zimmer, zurückhaltend modern eingerichtet

Besonders schöne Unterkunft in idealer Lage!

Mein Einzelzimmer war sehr geräumig und gemütlich, der Blick aus beiden Fenstern schön und das Bett komfortabel. Der Knüller ist aber die Dachterrasse! Und dass man automatisch ein eigenes, abschließbares Kühlschrankfach hat, fand ich wirklich bemerkenswert.

ME encantó la terraza y la cocina y espacio compartido, es muy chulo!!! las habitaciones super limpias, cómodas, silenciosas, para descansar está muy bien. cerca del centro, bastante bien ubicado, no cuesta llegar mucho al centro.

me gustó todo!!!! quiza cafe o te gratis para cuando llegas, que no está incluido

Amazing concept for solo females!

Great location, safe, clean, kitchen to cook your food, and women only felt amazing what’s not to like! Roof terrace was beautiful as well.

Nothing really. Only suggestion if there was some kind of protein at breakfast but not a big issue and reception closes at 2:30 so you have to call if you need something but I didn’t need to

Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Sehr gut, das Gasthaus ist sehr empfehlenswert, für alleinreisende Frauen optimal. Sehr sauber, schlicht und modern eingerichtet. Das Highlight ist der Frühstücksraum mit nutzbarer Küche und eigenem Kühlfach im 5. Stock und einer großen und kleinen Außenterrasse und Weitblick über den Stadtteil. Auch der Self-Check-in, wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist, ist einfach. Alles in allem ein gut durchdachtes Konzept - einfach optimal !!! Und der wohlklingende Glockenschlag von der St Jakobskirche nebenan endet um 22 Uhr und beginnt erst wieder morgens um 07 Uhr. Ein Glück:-)

I booked this hotel to feel safe as a solo traveller, I did not feel safe at all for my one night stay

I was not able to access my key from the safe and was left outside the hotel for half an hour late at night. i then did not have a key for my room for my one night stay and was not able to access the kitchen.

Beautiful view from the window

Beautiful view from the window of the cathedral, a very calm and good area. A very spacious and cozy room.

We had breakfast included, but it's hard to call it breakfast. I don't know, maybe all breakfasts are like this in Switzerland? These are coffee, bread, butter, cereal with milk, and watermelon. If I knew that breakfasts include only this, I would not take breakfast at this hotel.

Perfect for women solo travellers or to be with friends/daughters/mom/grandmother!

A fully renovated place, feels like a "Nordic design" guesthouse. A room for 3 with private bathroom was spacious enough, and had everything we needed. The communal kitchen/terrace was incredible! Breakfast was unsophisticated but had a little of everything, and good coffee (a must for me!)

Very good

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The location was very central, easy to walk everywhere - there is a supermarket and tram stop across the street. It was great to have use of the kitchen and private fridge space. Love that it's just for women - feels very safe and friendly.

Amazing as always

Always happy to come back here. I love the location of the guesthouse and the helpfulness of the staff. You have everything you need and more. It is so relaxing knowing you can use the entire kitchen and your private fridge at any time. It made buying groceries for a longer stay much easier. Until next time!

Very clean and safe place to stay with incredibly friendly staff that spoke English!

The room is very spacious for 2-3 people. The staff and the overall hotel itself was very friendly and felt incredibly safe. We really liked that it was all just for women. The room and shared kitchen were very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is nice with a decent array of yogurt, cereal, and toast.

No complaints, the staff were very accommodating when we requested more pillows and even let us borrow an umbrella for the day.

Excellent and affordable hotel in Zurich. perfect for female.

Very convenient location beside a church and a 15 mins from the central train station as well as the dontown area. Comfortable room with healthy and convenient breakfast. Actually the acoustic is not the best but guests are all very quiet. Very friendly staff and very clear information for self check in.

Exceptional

My staying in Josephine's Guesthouse has exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, clean and warm, and the bed was very comfy. Amazing view from the top floor. The hotel is in a great location: 10 min walk from Zurich HB train station and 5 minutes from the old town. The breakfast is enough and there is a fully equipped kitchen (very clean!) which can be used by the hosts to cook your own meal and/or cakes. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful (thank you, Laura! :) ). They really care about their clients well being. Indeed I arrived at 11 am and I had to work. Even if my room was not ready yet (the checking was supposed to be at 3pm), the staff has satisfied my needs, allowing me to work from the top floor and prioritizing my request to get the room ready. You can arrive at any time (even late evening/night) in the hotel to do the checking, because they have the possibility to leave the room key in a secure locker. Same thing for the checkout, you can leave the key in the secure locker before leaving (if there is no person in the front desk). Highly recommend to stay here and I would certainly go back.
